Spring rolls were a little loose and I prefer Peanut sauce with it. But a good appetizer.

Pho Saigon offers delicious pho. After a big hike at the Battlefield, this is the perfect place for lunch. While, Pho Sapa had the best Spring Rolls, held tight with amazing peanut sauce, Pho Saigon's fell short with me. The wraps were a bit more loose and the sauce was more like molasses and hoisen. (Which it should be.. just a preference) -Pho Saigon's actual Pho was out of sight! I got the Seafood Pho and it was so delicious. The fish cakes had great flavor and a good amount inside the bowl, along with imitation crab and shrimp. Fabulous dish. Our Young Coconut Water was amazing!!! I love Coconut water but never had this before. I loved it! Super awesome Pho.

Best pho restaurant in the DMV. I have been here numerous times over the past years even during off hours and received excellent food and service every time. It's hard to match this place and I have been to all of them

Came in here a quick bite since it I close to my hotel and great Yelps reviews. I ordered Spring Rolls and Grilled Pork Vermicelli. They served you special house sauce with great taste and bit spiciness. Spring Rolls and Grilled pork were both well-prepared with good flavor. Adding the house sauce to vermicelli bring out enhanced flavor. Highly recommend that you give it a try.

First timer: Just recently I've been hearing that their pho is delicious, so I went today right after they opened at 10:00. Of course the place was empty except me, which I love. It was cozy, quiet and clean. I was waited on immediately. I chose the tofu pho with beef broth, broccoli and carrots. Accoutrements were quick to come to the table and were generous. Pho came quickly and the broth was delish! I was disappointed with the tofu, though. It had been frozen and fried (which makes it deliciously chewy), but it was very dry and TOO chewy. I didn't get any drink besides water, and the bill was a little over $15.00, pretty standard. I'd come here again but I'd ask for the tofu to be plain and not fried.

This place was poppin when we went to lunch on Monday around 1p but the service was very fast and efficient. The pho was delicious but in my opinion the star was the egg rolls. The noodle portion was good and I felt more than satisfied at the end. They have a great lunch special of pho+egg roll or spring roll + a drink for $16. That's a great deal!

    Beef stew ( Bo Kho)

Very disappointed in the beef stew soup. The meat is dry , no carrots & the broth is flavorless with lots of oil.

What a hidden gem - very casual but comfortable, friendly, and yummy! Will definitely be back on cold days

Doesn't look like this place is open. I drove by today and there was plywood on the front windows and the door?

    It's open!

Does anyone know if they use MSG in their Pho?

No, and MSG isn't bad for you despite the racist scare in the 80s-90s. https://youtu.be/xyryLSdugWQ

I know - because I asked the restaurant staff when I recently visited in person for some Pho. Why is this important? Because, for some reason - the previous business listing under the "Viet Flavor" name - was simply updated/changed on Yelp to "Pho Banh MI 89" - and of course this keeps all the reviews that were under the the Viet Flavor name. What should have occurred - is that the Viet Flavor business listing is "Closed," and a new business listing created for "Pho Banh MI 89." Until that happens - I have no way to post a review except for here. I visited recently to sample the Pho Ga. The Pho Ga was expensive - I paid around $17 and change for a bowl - seemed a little high. I also ordered the Summer Rolls - which were pretty standard quality-wise. The Pho Ga chicken broth is a bit light for my palate. I'd like to see more depth of flavor and complexity to the chicken broth. As usual, after tasting the broth - I added all the accoutrements: Fresh Basil, lime juice, Jalapeños, and Bean Sprouts. Noodles were not clumped; broth was steaming. Decent bowl of Pho Ga - but not outstanding. The inside of the place was totally gutted during the transition to the new business. Bright, clean, lots of seating. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #PhoBanhMI89

Deep, rich, and layered with flavor, it had that slow-simmered warmth that makes you appreciate a well-made bowl of spicy beef noodle soup. Every sip felt like comfort in a spoon. The beef was tender, the noodles had the right bite, and the overall execution was solid. Service? Friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself? Clean and well-kept. No complaints on that front. Now, for the one thing that threw me off--the ambiance. Sitting in a Vietnamese restaurant, fully ready to embrace the experience, I found myself listening to Hispanic music and watching Spanish TV. It wasn't blaring or disruptive, but it definitely took away from the immersion. I get that the area has a strong Hispanic presence, and I respect that, but when I'm diving into a bowl of pho, I want the setting to match the dish. Maybe that's just me, but it felt a little off-brand. Would I come back? Absolutely--for the food. The pho alone is worth the visit. But if I had a choice between this and a spot that fully embraces the cultural experience, I'd probably lean toward the latter.
