I tried this place for the first time last week and I've been back already since!!! This spot is 1000% authentic. The staff is so friendly and bilingual for all clientele. The chef knows what they are doing!! I ordered the passion fruit pisco sour, it was perfectly blended with right hit of liquor and tart passion fruit. Delicious drink I could drink over and over again. I ordered the shrimp soup- it was different but yummy and filling. These portions are NOT small!!! The plantains were perfectly ripe and fried. They also provide tostado or little popped and fried corn kernels for a crunchy snack while you wait for your meal. Everyone's order looked amazing, the charcoal chicken looked seasoned perfectly and just the right amount of crispy skin to juicy meat. They have sauce bottles of the white, green, and red sauces to self serve. And these sauces are liquid GOLD. The green sauce has a Smokey flavor to it and the red was so spicy!!! The next time I went- I ordered the plate of fried fish and seafood. I think half the ocean was on that plate. The calamari was so fresh and the fried exterior was light and crunchy! The pickled onion that came with that plate was so delicious and lemony!! The inside of the restaurant is cozy decorated with Peruvian murals and keepsakes. The restaurant has a huge menu with lots to choose from. The food we got, sorry I can't remember which dishes, were pretty good. The pasta I had was under seasoned but I threw some salt on there ands it was much better. The beef was delicious. My husband got some sort of rice dish (beef fried rice maybe?) and the rice was totally different than we were expecting but we really liked it, just know it's not like an Italian or Asian rice dish. My son got a chicken (in the photo) and we weren't expecting a half a chicken fried like that. Really the issue was, it came out way after the other dishes and was so hot it was hard to eat since you're tearing apart a chicken that's just been fried. First time eating here, and definitely my last. When we arrived we received our menus, and our waitress never came back to take our order. We had to call the waitress over and let her know that we were ready. Initially I had ordered a half a chicken with Yuca and rice as our sides. We were told they were out of chicken. Mind you it was probably only 5:30 p.m. I then ordered a Lomo saltado. It took about 45 minutes for them to bring the food out. Periodically we would ask about the food and they would tell us it's almost ready, then the second time we ask they said another 10 minutes. When they brought our food out. I kid you not, my plate probably had maybe five little pieces of meat. By this time considering that we waited almost an hour for a few months, I was livid. I seriously cannot believe it took almost an hour for them to bring me out some rice, French fries, and five pieces of meat. I told the waitress that I'm sending the food back and it was absolutely ridiculous that I had to wait this long and for them to only bring five small little pieces of meat on the plate. I had more french fries on my plate than I had meat. I didn't even take a picture of the food because I sent it back immediately after they brought it to me. The waitress took the food back and then brought it back out with maybe double the meat portion that I had initially received. I have eight at plenty of Peruvian places before, but never have I ever had that experience where it seems like the restaurant had run out of meat or something. We didn't even receive water, not even napkins (this is standard that a waiter brings out to the table). As far as the taste of the food, it was mediocre at least. The rice had no flavor and the meat was pretty hard. The dish was almost $20. In the end they took 8% off the bill which was about $1 and some change. read more

Nice hidden peruvian restaurant in Chantilly. It's not super easy to spot. just driving by. The staff are all very friendly. I haven't had their chicken yet but I've had the lomos saltados. Overall pretty good, but I have had better at other places. The rice is nicely flavored and seasoned. the steak is also tender, but has a weird aftertaste in my opinion. I also prefer my lomos saltados to be drenched with sauce and this was lacking. but good quantity and very fulfilling. tomatoes are delicious. comes with the typical yellow and green sauces but sometimes they forget so make sure to ask! read more

Unfortunately, this restaurant has lost its sparkle. It once boasted great food & service thats sadly no longer the case. Our Friday evening visit left much to be desired, starting with a less than friendly server. Ceviche mixto was mediocre, lomo saltado was good, pisco sour was great, the piña colada was too strong for my friend's taste & led to humorous yet uncomfortable exchange. I asked for water multiple times until they finally brought one cup for the both of us. I mean getting water shouldn't be a challenge. The restaurant wasn't overly busy. There were several other patrons, but not busy. Yet, we were brought our bill halfway through our meal. I also noticed that the ceviche didn't include sweet potato which is a basic element of Peruvian ceviche. They offered me yuca when I mentioned it, but I declined. We also noticed an unexpected 3% fee on our bill that our server later explained it was a credit card fee. Yet, they added it before they even knew my form of payment. It's disappointing to see the decline. This restaurant was once a favorite, it's time for me to say farewell. We've been to all of them locally and each one might do one thing well but this place has it all- ceviche, chicken, arroz con mariscos, drinks. Definitely try any of the above dishes. The servers here, especially Henry and Carlos always take really great care of us. Even when the place is packed we know the food might take a little longer but they always keep our drinks refilled and check on us. They've got a nice patio which is perfect for drinks in the summer (and the let you bring dogs on the patio- they even were kind enough to bring out a little bowl with water for our doggy when we bring her) Definitely check it out! read more

They were a little slow, and forgot 2 times when we asked them for either more drinks, extra spoons etc.. I tried a leche de Tigre. Taste was nice, however it was very small portion for the price, compared to other places I've been. Very little fish and corn. I also asked for a seco. Good taste however the beans lacked of taste.
