This chicken place still has its grand opening signs up around the shopping center. Along with the chicken, this place offers a lot of side options. White Rice, fried rice, fries, yuca, plantain, beans, macaroni salad, various veggies option, and much more. I did not like the chicken was small and dry. Between this and Pollo Peru, Pollo Peru wins.

I just got wind that a Peruvian chicken restaurant opened up on my route home and needless to say I was verified excited! I placed my first order online and picked it up on my way home. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the real winner was the delicious chicken! I will definitely be back!

Delicious, healthy, did I say Delicious? Friendly counter help, only thing missing is a dining room setting, but, as counter service and eat.. rates up there. Get the Delicious Green sauce. Very Tasty Chicken!

Great chicken, atmosphere and friendly staffs. I ordered quarter white meat breast. It was surprisingly moist, tender and perfectly cooked. Two big sides with quarter chicken is only $ 6.89. It's a great deal in Reston area. I also strongly recommend cheese pupusa in restaurant. It's delicious. I am going back to King Pollo again and again..

Amazing & Clean & Great Place to Eat. The seating is good. There's a TV & great music playing while you dine in or carry out. 1/4 Dark meat Peruvian Chicken and 2 big portions sides for only $6.87. The chicken is very juicy & tender & NOT dry. There's many sides to chose from & a BIG selection of food to chose from. A must try! Their food & good customer service keeps you coming!!

I've pretty much eaten everything on the menu at this point and it can tell it's worth exploring the menu. The Saltados and Bistec are fantastic and don't sleep on the onion salad and massive tamales. The chicken is great too. Don't forget about the chicken.

Came home this weekend to find that a king pollo opened up right across the street from home! My dad and I walked in today to check it out and we found the food to be outstanding! As a Peruvian I love the el Salvadoran dish "pupusas" so I'm very happy I have king pollo walking distance! They have maracuya drink and alfajores (dessert) which are my favorites! I would give it 5 stars but I'm still waiting for them to add anticuchos ;) I think a Peruvian/ el Salvadoran restaurant is a great addition to hunters woods shopping center and am definitely to going back!

Expensive and bad food. Vegetables were very soggy and chicken tough. Flavor not good either.

green beans appear canned, fries look like they were frozen, gravy from canned stew. YUCK! Should have gotten the plain chicken.

I do think that a mix of the steak and other dishes is a good balance but it would've been great to have more greens as an option. I looked at their menu, then set out to learn about their various entrees. My husband agreed to give it a try. Before going, we settled on trying "Pabellon Criollo" which is considered the Venezuelan national dish. We were here on a Saturday around 5 p.m. and were surprised to see a few large parties dining in. Also, people came in to get their takeout orders. Not sure as to how the ordering worked when dining in, we made our way to their counter. The owner, Carlos, spotted us and got 2 menus. We confirmed that we wanted to dine in. Carlos is very friendly and welcomes customers with a smile. He also was our server. To drink, I had a lemonade while my husband had a can of Coke. We let Carlos know that we were both having the Pabellon Criollo. This dish consists of black beans with a bit of shredded cheese on top, white rice, carne mechado (which was shredded), 2 arepitas (small arepas) and some platanos maduros. When the food came, it was obvious that the platanos were freshly made. Carlos also brought a bottle of brazza sauce (also called "salsa de amor). He told us we could put it on any item we wanted. It's a mild sauce which is mayonnaise based with cilantro. We enjoyed this dish. Everything was mildly seasoned yet still well flavored. Nothing went to waste! When it was time to pay the check, Carlos rang us up. We both say we would like to return and try their steaks. From start to finish, we had a great experience.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

The service was excellent and accommodating. I was impressed because I know large groups can be difficult to wait on, so was very pleased with the service and how quick they were to get our orders in and us served. We ordered a variety of appetizers, such as the the empanadas, calamari, and garlic shrimp. My favorite items were the empanadas and calamari, which were extra tasty with the accompanying sauces. We also ordered a variety of grilled meats, including the two large Parrillada meat platters and picanha . The accompanying sides we tried were the fries, cheese rice, fried yucca, and plantains. I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely recommend checking out La Estancia if you enjoy grilled meats!
