First time here! Great place to eat and must try if you are in the area! Owner Carlos came to greet us and took his time explaining the menu and made great recommendations. Good came quick and great service!! Let's support small local businesses.

SO good!!! We came all the way from Baltimore and it was so so so worth it. We even got food to go for the week. Carlo the owner was so kind and friendly and explained the whole menu to us. Would 11/10 recommend and can't wait to come back with friends!

Nothing fancy inside...just clean inside and great service! The owner came around and introduced himself and explained the menu to us. There were 5 of us, ordered one of the family combo with 2lbs steak, choice of another protein so we picked chorizo and two large sides, fries and the coleslaw. We ordered an extra protein, chicharron so we can try different meats. Everything came out together on one big tray shortly after we ordered and let's just say the tray was empty shortly after too lol! The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender. I would have asked for a little more pink but it tasted so good regardless. The coleslaw had pineapples in it so hi honey gave it a tropical refreshing taste. The chorizo and chicharron was yummy too but the steak was definitely the star! Will we go back? H lol yeah!

First the owners are extremely friendly. He made suggestions based on what I was searching for. Second don't let the prices put you off. You get what you pay for, and then some!! Third, the steak was as good, if not better, than some of the best steakhouses I've even been to. The meat was tender enough to cut with a butter knife and seasoned to perfection . He has two sauces that you can put on the meats which are both excellent but the food has such extraordinary taste that is almost a crime to use the sauces. Do not let the location give you pause the restaurant is clean and comfortable. We almost didn't stop but I'm damn happy we did, and the next time I'm in the area I will definitely return. Next time I get a hankering for a good steak it would be worth the 3hr drive to come get it from these excellent cooks. Please give this locally owned and operated small family business all the love you can. They have a great product and service

A Venezuelan friend of mine recommended this spot. The food here is fire!!! Will definitely be back to try more items. I was served by the owner and he was very friendly and explained the menu to me before ordering. This is one small business that deserves a ton of support!

This green sauce tho .... YUMMERS

This is a tough review to write because while the portions and presentation of the food was underwhelming the taste of the food was overwhelmingly better than expected based upon the prior factors, ::SIGH:: I totally expected a larger portion than what was delivered for $24 (and that's not including the delivery charge + tip) and the initial impression of the steak based upon visuals was that it was over cooked shoe leather (see pics). The taste though of most of the food, was the polar opposite of this, specifically the steak itself when paired with the green sauce and the "tomato and onion salad" (which initially looked like pico de gallo). Those items actually tasted PHENOMENAL. The "pineapple" coleslaw on the other hand was truly just a commercially made coleslaw with no trace of pineapple. Overall this was definitely a conflicted dining experience and I'm torn on whether I'll give the restaurant another chance.

You have questions? Ask Carlos! Best protip to provide when visiting Brazza. Nestled in Sterling's Clock Tower Center is where you'll find Brazza right on the Burlington corner. We found plenty of parking available as they opened 11am Saturday. YMMV        My brother let me know about this place after it recently popped up in his Google feed. Having routinely ventured to try churrascas over the years, this Venezuelan steakhouse was no exception and bumped up our list immediately. We had an idea of what to order thanks to the site's menu and online/review pictures. After talking with Carlos, we certainly both added and modified some things.... The order, each served on wooden platters as received:     - Venezuelan Sampler (as a first timer, a must) - 4 Mini Empanadas (flavorful variety of empanadas; possibly modifiable) - Tequenones (think better mozzarella sticks) - Cubanzueal Sandwich (so good you might order one to go, too) - Brazza "Steaks" Special (cut-with-your-fork sirloin w/modestly fried yuca and plantains) - Pabellon Criollo (excellent dish to enjoy as a meal or share as a sampler) - Venezuelan Cinnamon Roll (off menu and tastes unlike any roll you've ever had) Each item was brought out seemingly as it was made, staggered and not all at once thankfully. Fried/prepared items were hot and we were informed so with dining suggestions graciously shared: dip this with that, add this to this, etc.. Speaking of dipping, that Brazza sauce. Man, this sh*t right here. You could literally add that to ANYTHING and up the umami level. What has me smiling as I type this is how everything tasted both homemade and of quality. This feeling really hit early in our order as soon as I tried the arepita. It was a "WTF", eyes widen, tooth grin kinda feeling. From the varying versions of fried cheese(s) and a meticulously prepared sirloin to a cinnamon roll like you've never tasted, there wasn't one item I wouldn't recommend, all were standouts in their own right. While I've been to South America, I've yet to visit Venezuela and until then, I'm happy Brazza's here to make me want to expedite my trip planning. Highly recommended. Protip Bonus: Be sure to ask to try the "spicy" version of their special sauce currently in development.

How the Smokey flavor gets in

We all loved this food. I loved the owner. His passion in food shows. We had steak, a sampler, empanadas, and a sandwich. Very authentic tastes. The "love" sauce was super - maybe the best. Plantains were crispy and sweet. Very unique was the Smokey flavors ( look at the pix of the wood) What kept it from a perfect review was the steak was a little tough and the empanadas were not traditional- still good. Not a fancy eating area but it works. Just some little things but nothing bad.

    Food about to be gone.

First time here and Carlos was wonderful to us. The steak I had was as good as any filet I have had. Everything was great and will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Talk about the most warm welcome we have ever received at a restaurant. Not only was the food fantastic the explanation of the food went above and beyond. If you're looking for a unique, small, cozy, restaurant with delicious food this is your place.

Not sure on this one. It's not the best steak and might be fun for something different . It's really just average.

A group of us might be coming, but one of us is a vegetarian. Is there enough veggie sides to keep him happy? Any veggie options? Thanks

Yes, there are some vegetarian items (not so much if you want vegan) For example, they have arepas that are stuffed with cheese. Plus, there is a pineapple coleslaw. Here is a link to their menu:… Read more

Do not sleep on the cocktails! The Lessons In Alliteration will bring me back here, it is so well balanced and goes down a little too easy. The food was incredible. We started with the Tequeños and Patacón Salvaje (the best bite of the night for me!). Then came the Caribe Atómico (a little too salty) and Caribbean Surf & Turf Salpicón. For our entrees we tried the Duck Atollado (the rice in this dish was amazing and so flavorful) and the Pelao Guayanés. Everything was well prepared and so tasty. Dessert was the Vanilla Quesillo and Cacao+, would skip, dessert was our least favorite course.

We had to get an early reservation as they were fully booked at dinner time. The food was just okay: the appetizer with the plantain and fried calamari was okay, it lacked a little bit of dimension and was too acid forward (needed more salt to balance it). The main was the "olleta" which is a vegetarian meal; it wasn't exactly memorable. It has an incredible amount of olives and capers and not enough tofu/plaintain/mushrooms. It was also very acid forward and lacked layers/balance to the flavor. Lastly, we tried two desserts: the flan (I believe it was called quesillo) and the chocolate one. I LOVED the flan with the foam on top, and the chocolate one was towards the bitter side (which was pretty good) but I wouldn't get it again. The desserts were very overpriced for the size of it. The place is well maintained and I love the plants all around. I would like to give it another try as I like to support my fellow Latinos
