This review is for salteñas only - they are great!! Both meat and chicken salteñas were delicious and baked (not fried). Service was friendly (we only had a to-go order but both encounters on the phone and at the pick up were great).

The best and well known place in sterling VA. Love their beef and chicken saltena. I had a taste of this and i love it ever since. Their price is pretty good as well. The only thing is that you might need to soeak spanish to be ablr to order the food here. I called to place an order and it took 5 minutes for my orders to be placed because they did not speaks english much. The restaurant is small but also havr outside seating. Large parking lot in front so no problrm there. Their saltena is juicy and very delicious and great seasonjng as well. Would recommend this to everyone and will deff come back!

Authentic Bolivian restaurant. Very busy for lunch on a Monday - great sign. Portions big. Food tasty. Staff knowledgeable and personable.

Cheese empanada, Carne Asada w plantains

This tiny hole in the wall restaurant is a Bolivian gem or at least to those who know about it. EVERYTHING is great about this place from the wait staff to cleanliness to food portions to taste. The constant stream of people is testament to the brilliant waitresses working together to take care of all tables. The Saltenas and Empanadas were amazing... lots of filling and yummy dough. The portions are great and well worth trying if you haven't. We ordered several dishes and all were great. Highly recommend if you are in the Sterling VA area.

Barcelona Reston - Pork belly & Potato Tortilla

It's been a while since I came here, but I LOVE Barcelona! The happy hour deals are pretty good. I…read morewish they had more wine options on the happy hour menu specifically red wine. The service was great, our waitress and fast, kind, and checked in with our group the perfect amount of times. The food was all amazing. They're fairly small portions so you do end up spending quite a bit, but the quality is great! If you want the paella you have to order right when you arrive cause it's 30 mins to 45 mins for them to cook it. Paella Salvaje* 5/5 Grilled octopus 5/5 Spiced Beef Empanadas 3.5/5 (tasted like pasta on the inside no spice lol) hanger steak 5/5 Happy hour trio deal Patatas Bravas 3/5 meatballs 4/5 Chicken Jamón Croquettes 4.5/5 Wines were alright. We ordered the sherry dessert wine which was not a fan fave. The sparkling white wine on the HH was refreshing and pretty good, very dry. Overall, always a good experience. It wasn't too crazy on a Thursday night. The inside ambiance is nicer at night time than day time. I'll have to go back for HH again and order some apps and paella.

Barcelona Reston delivers a strong tapas experience with a few minor misses. The menu has a great…read morevariety, and overall the food quality is impressive. The standout for me was the patatas bravas--perfectly crispy potatoes paired with a spectacular garlic aioli. The truffle sheep's cheese was also outstanding, rich and flavorful, although the truffle honey didn't quite deliver on its promise--I could barely taste the truffle. It also only came with one slice of toasted bread, but thankfully the bread service helped stretch the dish (and even then, there was still cheese left over). The spiced beef empanadas were nicely crisp and satisfying. The grilled octopus, however, was just okay--slightly over-charred, which made it hard to fully appreciate the flavor. On the other hand, the paella salvaje was excellent, loaded with chicken, gaucho sausage, pork belly, chickpeas, and pickled onions. Definitely a must-order--but be sure to put it in early since it takes a while to prepare. For dessert, the flan catalan was a great finish--not overly sweet and nicely balanced. The wine list is another highlight, with plenty of good options available by the glass. We ordered the paella first and followed it with four tapas, which ended up being plenty of food for four people. Pricing came out to about $45 per person before tip, which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity. The interior has a warm, stylish vibe with lots of wood and dark tones, though it does feel a bit cramped--tables and booths are quite close together, and it can get pretty loud. Service was friendly and well-paced. It does get busy during peak hours, so reservations are highly recommended (they use Tock). Overall, a great spot for tapas with a lively atmosphere--just be prepared for some noise and tight seating.

Do you want a meal that is so filling and satisfying that you feel like you could hibernate right…read moreafter? Just curl up like an exhausted grizzly and forget the world until your belly is no longer full? Then go to Brazza and get ready to bring on blissful exhaustion. I've been here three or four times now and have tried several menu items. Everything comes to the table quickly and perfectly delicious. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the crispy skin on the pork belly chicharrón sings when you scrape it with a fork. The sides are hearty and massive, with the fried plantains being especially delicious bars of golden delight (I recommend the tomato and onion salad as the perfect side for the chicharrón). There are lots of drink options, too: the papelón is the best limeade for a hot day, and the chicha-criolla vaso is like a milkshake delivered directly from heaven. The absolute star of my heart, though, is the blood sausage. The skin has a delicate snap, the filling is silky in consistency, and the flavor is robust and rich. Add the smallest drop of the hot sauce (ask for it specifically) to change and amplify the flavor into something even more interesting. If you have never tried blood sausage before, Brazza offers an exceptionally palatable way to try it through the homogenous filling, rich spices, and minimal tangy flavor. If you already enjoy blood sausage (I grew up eating boudin), then you should try what I consider the smoothest and most complexly flavored version I've ever eaten. Long review short, go to Brazza if you want amazing meats, refreshing drinks, and delicious food in general, all at an excellent price. And you get Carlos' warm welcome and big smile for free!

I do think that a mix of the steak and other dishes is a good balance but it would've been great to have more greens as an option. But then again, this isn't something that is unique to this restaurant alone or the type of cuisine. I would love to watch a great soccer game or other sports event here to root on a local team. It is the perfect combination of solid food, genuine vibes, and great service.

It features a modern, trendy, and lively setting with hanging plants, stylish tiles, contemporary lanterns, and warm wood tones, creating a welcoming environment. The dishes we tried were very good, and we recommend: - Causa Sampler, featuring crocante, tartare, and pollo -- all fresh and delicious. - Ceviche Sampler, with traditional, cremoso, and callejero options. - Tostones Sampler, featuring pulled pork, crab salad, and shrimp on crispy, chewy smashed and fried plantains. - Tallarines a la Huancaína: linguine with cream, Parmesan, and Huancaína sauce, topped with lomo saltado -- a unique Peruvian pasta dish that feels more like noodles than traditional pasta. - Arroz con Mariscos: Peruvian-style seafood rice with squid, shrimp, mussels, and salsa criolla, reminiscent of a Peruvian paella. - Lychee Passion & Chicha Colada: tasty mocktails made with lychee, passion fruit puree, chicha morada, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and lime.
