My go to place for yucca! It usually made fresh, crispy on the outisde and super soft on the inside. The white sauce tastes really good and the green is very spicy but goes well with the yucca. The chicken is fine, not extraordinary in terms of flavors but well cooked. Yucca fries are the highlight of this place. The chicken was pretty dry and didn't have much for a half chicken. But, it wasn't terrible just lacking in comparison to others. The yucca was hard and not worth eating. The portion was great but when none of it is any good it just seems like a waste. The sauces were alright, not to my liking but they were not bad by any means. Chicken Latino is decently priced and the chicken is still good. I've had hard/dry yuca the first time I ordered from here, but luckily the second time it was more fresh. I had high hopes for this place. We ordered the chicken sandwiches with Yuka & fries, also half of a chicken with rice and beans. The chicken here doesn't have much flavor, it was very simple even in the sandwich. The rice was bland and the most disappointing part of all was that the yellow & green sauce was watered down too much or else it would've made the meal better :( The yuka was ok but the fries seemed fresh and were good, maybe I got lucky. This is such a hole in the wall and one of my favorite cheap eats! You get a plate full of food plus a sod for $8! You can get a quarter piece of a rotisserie chicken(or more) with two heaping sides (rice, fries, yuka, beans, and salad). Comes with two sauces (the green one has jalapeños!). We stopped to try it out because we went to the movies in Centreville, but a bit disappointed with the taste. Not really Peruvian chicken, it is rotisserie chicken but lacks Peruvian seasoning or marinade, a bit tasteless. It tastes like it only has cumin, salt and pepper. Guapos or Super Chicken are closer examples of Peruvian chicken. The yuca is cut too thick so it's not as crispy, tastes more boiled than fried. The yellow sauce also needs a bit more taste, lacks enough lime juice, salt and mustard. It might work out better for people that like a blander taste like Boston Market. read more

Went here last Saturday with family after an open house in Centreville. That was our first time and was really impressed. Service was quick, the food was good, full of flavors and the yuca tots were unexpected. I love pollo a la brasa with fried plantains and yuca, it's my go to lunch if I'm near one. But sometimes the chicken is not seasoned or cooked right, it ruins the experience for me. Not PolLo Latino. We were pleasantly surprise how flavorful and moist the chicken was. Even hubby who is very particular with his yuca loved the way it was cooked right. The best part is affordability... for 4 meals and drinks, we paid 32 dollars. Will be back for sure. read more

When you come to a place that specializes in specific food usually they know what they are doing and this place hit it spot on! They have this great special which is a whole chicken (cut up) with two sides for a little less than $20!!! I ordered two whole chickens, 1-fried Yuca and 1-Plantain... I was very happy, the chicken was very juicy with lots of flavor, and totally hugged by the flames so smelled amazing! No crema for platanos which I've gotten used to at some places. Chicken is decent, only reason for 2 stars. Rice was completely flavorless. I actually threw it away and reheated some rice I made a couple of days ago, yeah that bad! Platanos were lukewarm and could have been cooked longer. Long story short, skip it!
