Food menu is on the smaller side for lunch I guess but the fries were outstanding and the burrata was very good as well. We just needed a light bite to tide us over for dinner. The view is really awesome and very unique for ogunquit…read more Truthfully everything else is okay. Got a spicy margarita that truthfully was pretty watered down, not very spicy, and not very much of anything at all. The view is great but there's only 4 tables outside that get it so if you're not one of those 4 then you're basically sitting at a normal cocktail bar with okay drinks. Overall it's unique and different of ogunquit but I do think for a cocktail bar the drinks need to pack more of a punch (and who knows- maybe it was just a bad night).

Lobster roll was unusual but excellent- tarragon mayo just enough flavor to make it interesting but not overwhelming the lobster. Tuna dish was excellent... balanced flavor with amazing tuna cooked just enough. Service- 5 Stars Sat us kinda late which was awesome. Server was excellent- timely, helpful, friendly. Atmosphere- 4.5 Stars Love the outdoor only seating and the general vibe, but it's kinda stuffed in behind some businesses which I could see some people not loving although we liked it a lot. Drinks- 4 Stars Solid drinks... nothing super outstanding. They were out of two beers which was disappointing. Value- 5 Stars Well priced and excellent.

After hopping from restaurant to restaurant, all booked up, we walked in the Crooked Pine to find a waitlist inside the restaurant as well. They had seating outdoors and, given no other choice we agreed. What a treat!! We were seated by the fire, Frank Sinatra was singing in the background, string lights above us - couldn't be happier, we loved everything. I had the Lobster papardelle, and my husband had the stuffed cod, both were incredibly flavorful and savory. I would come back here anytime!

What we ordered: -Cornbread: 3/5, great portion to share with the table and piping hot which I loved but wish it was moister and had more honey on top. -Caesar salad: 5/5, incredibly fresh, dressing was delicious and evenly spread among the whole salad, fresh anchovies on top were a nice touch -Crabcakes: 4.8/5, only comes with 2 but the cakes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn on top was very boring I wish they spiced it up a bit but it did not take away from the flavor of the cakes so I kept the score high. -Lobster Pappardelle: 5/5, one of my favorite meals we ate on vacation!! Generous lobster portion with perfectly cooked pappardelle in a very tasty sauce. I already miss it and wish I could eat it again. -Braised Short Rib: 3.8/5, beautiful presentation and everything tasted great but very small polenta/carrot portions and I wish the meat was more tender. It wasn't bad, it just didn't blow my socks off. -Espresso crème brûlée: 4.5/5, was the perfect birthday dessert for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Quality espresso flavor, wish it was a little crispier on top. Food was ~4/5 but our overall experience was 5/5. Our server, Pedro, was so friendly and helped us with dish recommendations. When I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he brought the crème brûlée out with a candle and two other staff members to sing to him which was so sweet. We will definitely come back here next time we're in town!

We grabbed a couple seats near the piano player after ordering drinks at the bar. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop and it was ice cold and delicious. The female pianist was incredibly talented, the crowd was friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to hang out for a while. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Calamari was crispy, but not very seasoned. Decent sweet potato fries. Server was attentive but zero personality. Dining space was nice, much quieter vibe than upstairs. Second floor is where the piano bar is, first come first served, and the line moved quickly. It was lively, a bit of a cluster. Piano player did a good job catering to Millennials to Boomers, even mashing up a bit between the Killers, Kings of Leon, and Blink 182, which was cool. But the bartender was a miss, very hasty - drinks were poorly mixed and he broke 2 glasses while we were seated at the bar, yikes!

They handle large crowds as we even saw buses in the parking lot. The host was gracious, we were quickly seated at a nice window table and had a pleasant waiter. Entrees are on the pricier side, but comparable to other spots in town. Everybody enjoyed their food. I particularly liked the very crispy fried calamari appetizer and the short ribs were tender and delicious and a very generous portion. The scallop appetizer was also very good, as was the pork chop entree. We told our waiter we were seeing a show and he kept things moving along for us. We were not rushed, but did not need to worry about not having enough time. The only disappointment, and we realized after we left, was that the 10% discount for dinner, advertised on our ticket was not applied. I know our waiter knew as he told us to enjoy the show as we were leaving. As sponsors of the theater, it seems wrong that you have to remember to show your ticket to receive the discount, especially when our waiter knew. Other than that, I would recommend the restaurant

We didn't wait that night, but I thought I had to come back another time to see what the hype was about. Came back tonight 9/14/26 and I left extremely disappointed. The lobster bisque had no lobster pieces in it whatsoever. For $12 I would expect at least a few small pieces. Our server was miserable. The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Monday night and I just felt she was taking her time. She didn't even introduce herself, came over to give waters and said do you need more time? She came back a little while later and just stood there- not even a "what can I get for you?" When she returned with our meals she hovered my plate in front of me awkwardly and I didn't know if she wanted me to take it or if she was going to put it down. I awkwardly took the plate to place it down and it was a hot plate. Maybe my fault but not knowing what she was doing put me in a weird place. The salmon was fair but overall I just felt that everything lacked seasoning. My husband got the Jackie's Favorite and said it was just "meh". Wasn't seasoned very well and promised bread crumbs on it which seemed to be missing. My husband also ordered a rosé to enjoy with dinner. It was forgotten so we reminded her. As my husband was pretty much finished with dinner, she came with it. I'm very disappointed with my experience and won't be back. Sad service and overpriced, lackluster food.
