So here we go!!! This is a truck/trailer with a metal building to the side. No restrooms if you gotta go you just have to hold it. It's very clean both the truck and the dining area. The staff is friendly and I had a great chat with the cook when he was on break. My burrito was amazing cooked perfectly with the bacon wrap. I'm going to make it back, but I will go to the restroom before I go.

Bacon. Wrapped. Burrito. The only thing you need to know and want to go here. There's a video on Youtube that featured it, and it lives up to the fame. We split the Percheron: Lean steak, avocado, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese. The beauty of it (besides the bacon), is the absence of rice or bean fillers - that's a Tucson burro. Takes a little (maybe 10min) but definitely worth it. That, and "real" Coke (from Mexico) made my day. Oh, we ordered another one, with added green chiles, to go, LOL.

Ordered yesterday and got hair in my burrito and it was so sloppy. Called them to complain and figure out a solution and they completely ignored and never called back. (Ajo location)

This burrito place was amazing and definitely needs to be on the list if you're a foodie that loves bacon! The meat here is seasoned well and there's just so much flavor biting into a crispy burrito, I like mine with their orange/mayo base sauce. Like others have said it does take 15-20 minutes so call in ahead if you don't have much time to wait. Covered outdoor seating is available. Can't go wrong with any of the bacon wrapped burritos, best burrito in Tucson hands down we went back 3 times in the same week!

Well, kinda torn on this one. The bacon wrapped steak burrito was good (with notes below). But this is a skeleton of what it used to be, menu-wise. Gone are most of the great burrito varieties he used to have, like the Italian one with pepperoni in it, which was my favorite. Gone are his fabulous fries. Now there are just two, maybe three burritos. He does now have this nice indoorsy seating with booths. So the burrito...the photos on the truck show this mouth-watering pics of how it is assembled. Avocado slices and "melty mozzarella cheese" included. My steak burrito didn't have either. Disappointing. Still tasted good, but... So bummer. What he has is good, but I will no longer be looking forward to my Percheron cravings. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Heard how good this place was and they did not disappoint. I love trying varieties of salsa so I was glad to see that they had a self service bar. Their salsa assortment is pretty good and tasty. This food truck is located near the parking lot of Chihuahua Market, off to the right under a tent with multiple tables. They also have a table nearby with a big fan that blew mists of water to help cool us off from the heat.

Percheron is a food truck that seems to be permanently parked on 12th Ave (except when out for catering orders perhaps?). It's located right next to a covered dining area with some booths and a couple of tables. This is the only place I've ever seen that bacon wraps their burritos, which is basically what led me to eat here in the first place. I guess bacon wrapping food is kind of the thing around Tucson. It's honestly kind of a gimmick, but I'm not complaining! The burrito does take time to make - it took around 20 minutes after I ordered on a Friday early afternoon and that was with no one in front of me! Luckily they have a buzzer system so you know when it's done. I got the classic here: Bacon Wrapped Steak Burrito ($14.99) - Super decadent artery clogging goodness. The ingredients are perfectly balanced with steak, avocado, cheese, peppers, onion, and tomato in every bite. The interior is moist and there is no need for any additional salsa or crema (although, they do have a salsa bar if you want something to add). The bacon is tightly wound around the tortilla, and doesn't fall off at all. It's also well rendered so that there is no rubbery chewy texture. The burrito is served piping hot and is quite substantial - a cylinder around 3in diameter on the widest side and with a length longer than my forearm. I wonder if they use an entire pack of bacon in wrapping this thing.... The flour tortilla is supposedly handmade, but I honestly couldn't tell much about the tortilla through all of the bacon. It kind of gets lost. The entire burrito is griddled after assembly, adding some additional char. On the side, the burrito came with some charred peppers and lime for freshness and acidity. I'm not sure why other reviewers say they only speak Spanish. The person I ordered from was perfectly good at English. Also, they do accept credit cards now. To be honest, I'm not sure I would get the bacon wrapped burrito again. It's something that's great to try once or twice, but it has to be super unhealthy for you. I certainly didn't feel so great after eating it... I do recommend Percheron just to give it a try.

Home of the bacon wrapped burrito they did not disappoint! I have braces and was a little worried how tough it might be but the bacon was cooked perfectly, soft not crunchy or chewy, and not greasy at all. We got one Carne Asada and one Al Pastor both bacon wrapped, and they both came with cheese, pico de gallo, and fresh avocados. The carne Asada was delicious and cooked perfectly, as well as the Al Pastor, with a couple of lime Agua Fresca to wash it down it was a great experience.

A bacon wrapped burrito... let that sink in. Bacon wrapped... did I say bacon? I ordered the steak burrito with all the fixings and what you get is a humongous perfectly cooked delicious meal or two. Their salsa/ sauce bar has a chipotle sour cream accompaniment that is my fav. Service is friendly. They are usually busy and made to order and so it does take a while... but worth it. They have a semi enclosed clean space right off a busy road in a gas station parking lot; it can be loud... but who cares while you are eating delicious-ness?

Everything we tried at this place was great! The burritos are huge and wrapped in bacon!!! The hotdogs were really good too. They have covered seating and a big cooler blowing into the seats. They had good sauces and large portions. What's not to like... the service was quick and friendly, they were very accommodating to my picky child. The food seemed a little expensive but once we saw the portion size we were happy with our order. The only thing they are missing is a bathroom but that's a big ask for a food truck.

Yeah this was in the middle of the second half. It's really pretty.

Bacon. Wrapped. Burrito. There, that's the review. Just joking. They only speak Spanish here so keep that mind and the actual burrito is great. It's not stuffed to the brim. It's a well balanced, thought out burrito that shows real craft at work. Impressive stuff overall.

This place was amazing start to finish. 10/10 in every category. The food was great and the portions were filling for the price (which was very fair!) but what really stood out for me was the manager, maybe owner, was so very kind and went above and beyond for us, my grandma especially. My grandma has beginning stages dementia and it's hard to find anything she can and will eat, and she loves to talk and tell stories to anyone who will listen. This kind gentleman was so patient and so gentle with her and kept coming back to check on us and being sweet every time she would strike up conversations even as it got increasingly busy. We will be back!

Is the bacon wrapped burrito wrapped around a tortilla or is the bacon the actual tortilla?

It's the flour tortilla wrapped burrito then wrapped in bacon and griddled. Took about 20 minuties.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Spacious patio area, with cool lights, umbrellas, and many tables. If you have a choice and it isn't too hot, sit outside. The food is stellar! Salsa and chips were tasty, the carne asada was excellent. The corn tortillas are thick and perfectly charred. The green enchiladas were good too. The sauce was thicker than usual, but that's probably the Native fusion instead of being just Mexican enchiladas. So glad we stopped in, we ate every bite. Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
