So glad they opened back up. Love the fresh tortillas, and the salsa With everything going in they had everything pre-packaged onion, cabbage, limes and salsa. Quick easy, to go orders so good. Can't wait to go back!

Around the area of my new place of employment there are a gazillion food trucks that are not even on the Yelp radar yet. This is one of them. As you can see from my photo of their menu, they have only a few items. I ordered the tacos barbacoa as I wasn't feeling adventurous for any of the other items. The quality is good. Tortillas are fresh. Plenty on their condiments cart to spruce up your tacos however you want. I just wasn't that impressed with the barbacoa. It was OK, but nothing to get excited about for me.

Unless they decided to move the food truck for the holidays this place may be out of business.

We went there to get a "Birria Bomb". We kept hearing so much about it on social media and we live…read morebirria tacos so we have it a try. The store has a butcher counter, small grocery section, ready to eat food made to order, and a bbq master waiting to grill your carne asada. The birria bombs are located behind the counter. WOW! This was so incredibly easy to prepare. The meat, water, and the bomb, that's it. The flavor was really good. For me, it was a little on the spicy side, but my husband thought it was the perfect amount of heat. My only word of caution is use the shoulder or chuck roast it recommends. I didn't have either of those at home, but I did have a 3.5 hunk of London broil, so I used that. I had to keep it in the crock pot for an extra 2 hours to get the meat tender, but it was worth it. I also failed on the corn tortillas, didn't have any, so we made quesadillas with flour tortillas and ate the birria on the side. Still super delicious.

Also purchased flour tortillas, salsa, green corn tamales, red chile tamales and beans. The food was delicious with two exceptions--red and green tamales. The tamales most definitely need to be discarded and replaced.... 1. So so dry; not moist; not fluffy 2. Green corn needed more cheese and more green chile; too skimpy on the ingredients 3. Masa was gritty Service was excellent. Meat counter staff were very helpful. The gentleman grilling was very friendly and accommodating. Cashiers were friendly and polite. Will be back soon but WILL NOT TOUCH THE TAMALES.

If you are able to go for brunch, I would recommend getting the Chilaquiles with both the red and green sauce! You will not be going wrong with this. When we entered the restaurant, I was immediately impressed with all of the accolades that Amelia's Kitchen seems to have accrued over the years. Maybe that set my expectations too high. We made a reservation, which I highly recommend, so we were quickly seated. but it did take a bit for someone to actually come and greet us and take our drink orders after being sat down. Then it was probably another 40 minutes before we actually got our food. I'm not sure if it was this lag time that affected the food quality, but several of my items were just lukewarm and some even cold? The star of the show was definitely, the molcajete. This came out sizzling and full to the brim with shrimp, nopales, chicken, asada, cheese, and lots of other goodies. In hindsight, I probably should've ordered one for myself. I went with the chicken mole enchiladas. Again, the sauce was okay but not super spicy, and it was a little cold, as was my side of rice and beans. We also ordered the mini birria chimis to share. and these were just OK, they tasted like frozen food. Overall, if you come here, I highly recommend getting the molcajete, but can't really vouch for any other items. Maybe we'll try it again on a less busy night.
