OMG they are finally open! This is my favorite boba joint and it's soooo close. Easy parking in their lot. Woot! It was empty when we arrived after lunch. We were the only ones there. But after we ordered there was a steady stream of clients who came in. It's so pretty inside. Everything is decked out in pink and white. So nice and clean. They have a huge big screen tv playing music videos. We ordered: Pretty in pink: 4/5 the tea was really good but the toppings were a little hard and I wasn't really into the taste of the strawberry hearts. Manly melons: 5/5 really really really yummy! Zero percent it was a good amount of sweetness. The toppings were good. I highly recommend this one. Yay for Pekoe!!! read more

Came here twice during my stay in Sunnyvale. Being a person from the southeast US, I think my opinion is biased, so be warned. Drinks are way overpriced. I came with my boyfriend and bought 2 drinks and it came out to $15 without tip?? Foxy Brown: Ordered with 50% ice, 50% sugar. Sugar level was still really sweet to me, but when I asked for 25%, they said they could either only do 0, 50, or 100%. So I just went with 50%. Flavor was ok, nothing special, just your normal everyday brown sugar boba. The pearls were soft, but not in a good way. The outside of the pearls felt like a film that sorta peeled off in my mouth, leaving me with an unsatisfactory residue after swallowing. When I finished the drink, I realized the cup was literally filled halfway with ice. Wasn't aware that 50% meant half of the cup... Sugarcoat: Ordered with no ice, 50% sugar. Similar taste as Foxy Brown, but a little milkier. I really liked the texture of the creme brulee top. Some caramelized pieces came up through the straw and enhanced my drinking experience. Pearl texture was exactly the same as in the Foxy Brown, which disappointed me again, but at least the sugar crystals helped me enjoy the experience more. This drink didn't seem too sweet to me, either. This gets a better rating than the Foxy Brown. Vibes of the interior are crazy good though. I came in at around 10pm and was absolutely shook by the decor. The tables were literally glowing with some sort of internal LEDs that cycled through a gradient of colors. There's a giant projector/monitor on one wall that played music videos. The other wall had a row of mini digital fireplaces. Interior was dark to emphasize the brightness of the screens and tables. Had a nightclub sorta feel, and I'm here for it. Unfortunately, I don't believe in going to a boba place just for the decor. The boba is mediocre, and the next time I come back to Sunnyvale, I'm passing up this place for something else. Unless one of my friends is adamant about coming here, then I'll tag along for kicks. read more

This Pekoe isn't as nightclubby as the others, but it still has some of that flavor with the dim lighting and music that's way too loud. It's a nice place to chill with friends, especially because not a lot of boba spots are open as late and with that much seating. Service was super fast, drinks came out within a few minutes, but it wasn't super busy when we went. Pekoe can always be pretty sweet, so I always get half sugar and regular ice. I love their ice shape because it's almost like a topping and it's nice to chew. read more

Wow another top boba shop to add to the growing list in Mountain View/Sunnyvale. Compared to the other locations, this one felt much cleaner but just as "hip" as the other ones minus the large crowd (but that might change soon once more of the younger crowd gets wind of it). ((But also might be because I went on a Monday night.)) I got the Pretty in Pink drink with less ice and half sweetness. I'm not one to drink a very sweet drink but I do like some sugar, so 50% sweetness was perfect. A lot of other places that do 50% are always just below the sweetness that I prefer. The boba didn't taste sweetened, but the drink and strawberry jelly were just the right amount. So glad to have Pekoe closer to where we live, we'll be back soon read more

Was close by and craving boba. Overall, disappointed. I wouldn't come back and would gladly have spent my money elsewhere. It's waaaaay too sweet and the flavors are on the bland side. It mostly just tastes like sugar. I got the split cup and both flavors tasted almost identical. I tried the TMT and the Pekoe special. Honestly, I'd look elsewhere if I were you. read more

Got 4 drinks on Veterans Day within 3 minutes of ordering. Surprisingly fast, even though we were the only party there. Cool place to hangout but be careful when sitting on the round chairs. I've heard of someone falling backwards because they are lighter than they look lol. JMT better than the Mario and Luichee drink. Make sure to look at the menu right underneath the register because the ones on the screens don't show all their options. read more

I was so excited to see a Pekoe open closer to me! The interior is so cute and there's a big projector for music, pink couches, and these color changing seats. The vibe going on definitely makes getting drinks at Pekoe more of an experience. We got Foxy Brown, Manly Melons (my two go to drinks at Pekoe), and the Taro Smoothie; the quality of their drinks is also consistent with the San Jose locations. I will be back here for sure! The only downside is the four drinks we got costed $27 :( boba inflation is real read more

The inside of the shop is pretty nice! I'm happy they opened up across the street from my favorite billiards spot. It was nice of Pekoe to offer the BOGO sale and complimentary cookies for their grand opening! The workers are always nice (all locations) and very informative, so I've never had a problem with their services. Their drinks do run more on the sweet side (because you are what you drink... sweet) (⁄ ⁄*⁄⁄*⁄ ⁄). I recommend 50% sweetness because I've gained like 5 lbs drinking Pekoe all the time. If you drive a lowered car, it's easier to angle from the first entrance and leave the same way lol. You won't have trouble finding parking because there's plenty of space in the plaza and most of the stores aren't that busy. read more

First time here. Got 2 drinks- Pretty in Pink (no ice half sweet) and Foxy Brown (no ice half sweet). Service was nice and helpful. Ambiance was kinda dark. Because of their window coloring, it looked really dark from outside and they had most lights turned off (this was about 10:20pm) and we almost thought they were closed. They were showing some videos on a big screen. Anyway, drinks were so-so. If you Really Had to Have Boba at 10pm on a weeknight, this is one of the few places you could go. Flavors of both drinks were fakey tasting. Like they used a premixed powder or syrup for the main flavors. Not a fan of these types of flavors. Glad we got half sweet. read more

Pink couch and cute white bubble seats...Gives a modern and trendy vibe to this place! Tried the Black Dragon which is basically Roasted oolong tea with grass jelly but they allowed me to swap the grass jelly with lychee jelly without additional cost. Pretty decent but could have been less strong. Love their split cup concept if you want to try multiple versions. Service was fast and friendly. read more

There are boba and tea places popping up all over the place. Definitely not a shortage of them, but Pekoe stands out because of its decor and night club/bar feel. Located in a strip mall with different business that typically close around 6pm, Pekoe is the lone business that opens late! When I was driving on El Camino at night, I thought a night club had opened near my Nothing Bundt Cakes. Bright lights and signage really stuck out. Inside you'll find vibrant hip decor and large screen TVs. Can order ahead from their website. Great selection of tea and smoothies. If you can't decide what you want, certain teas are available split cup! Check it out. I've had the mk twist (mango and kumquat with mango stars) and Mario Luiychee (lychee with lychee bits). There are other pekoe locations in the Bay Area, and just glad this one is close to me! Cheers and boba on friends! read more

The notion of a late night bubble tea bar was a little confusing at first, but I quite like it. The staff are cheery, the vibes are good (although the floor was a little sticky with spilt drinks), the decor suitably tacky, and the drinks not too expensive. We drank a fruity tea and it was rather nice, with tasty pearls and not too sweet. Wasn't expecting to find this in Sunnyvale. read more

My drink was very mediocre and wasn't worth the price. The boba was hard and the drink was too sweet.

pekoe is known for their interesting flavor combinations especially on the fruity side. unfortunately, i was disappointed and did not finish my drink - which is quite rare for me. i got the foxy brown through doordash which is a assam black milk tea with boba. i requested 0% sweet or as little sweet as possible. the first issue is that they forgot the boba, which could've been just a mistake. the milk tea itself though didn't taste like anything - just very watered down black tea and not milky/creamy at all. i tried putting some of my own sugar in and it didn't help at all. the other fruit drinks may be better but i know pekoe usually runs really sweet. read more

I got the pretty in pink drink as it's their most popular drink but was honestly pretty disappointed. The strawberry flavor tasted very artificial to me and didn't taste fresh at all. I did appreciate the boba to drink ratio. The strawberry jelly was hard to drink because the pieces were bigger than the straw and some of the boba pieces were not chewy at all. I can usually finish my milk tea drinks quickly but because of the taste I really could not finish this one. I also asked for half sweetness and it was still very sweet. Service was pretty fast so that was good. Was excited to come back to Pekoe after a while but was a little disappointed with my experience. read more

Anytime I step into any Pekoe location, I always feel so old compared to the other patrons that come in, lol. Anyways, regardless of any location I've visited, I love that their drinks and recipes are pretty consistent in preparation and taste! Highly recommend the Pretty in Pink for folks who love strawberry milk or Angela for fellow wintermelon fanatics! Drinks are pretty affordable for the quality given and come out relatively fast despite the heavy foot traffic on weekends. Pro Tip: Would recommend ordering online to avoid the lines on weekends! :p read more

I love Pekoe. I love the vibes here. Great place to hangout with friends late night to just talk and catch up. However, they don't have board games. Most importantly, I love how they're open until midnight and the drinks come out fast. Like to the point that I just placed the order and not even 30 seconds later, my order is ready. Makes me wonder if the drinks are pre-made. I always get the foxy brown and it taste the same every single time. Boba consistency is great. It's chewy and not hard. It's great business that they open late because I crave boba late after all the other boba places are closed so this is my only option. Aint mad about it though because it's a solid and good boba place. If you go in the evening (8pm or later) parking is never an issue. It's a parking lot with shared businesses but whenever I go almost all of the other shops are already closed. read more

Girl (Nimu) working was rude and on her phone when trying to order. I've been to other locations with better service. I would suggest going to their other locations. Updating to one star: because she never called our number and hid our drinks in the corner. read more

This Pekoe is located in a quieter and smaller plaza. There is shared parking here as well. This location is not as busy as their other locations - it seems a bit easier to hang out here, instead of the other ones that were darker and louder. Service is eh - the employees working were pretty impatient. I tried their Manly Melons and Let That ManGo Smoothie. The Manly Melons is a jasmine green tea with lychee, mango, strawberry, and watermelon. I got it with boba instead of the toppings included, which was aloe vera and white agar pearls. The Let That ManGo Smoothie is a mango blend with boba. The fruit tea was decent - it tasted refreshing, but the mango smoothie was a bit sour/tart and it was not as sweet or refreshing. read more

I like the vibe. First time in here. it's fun how they have split cups and you are able to mix and match boba. We ordered a bunch so I do not recall all of the flavorings or I am just getting old can't remember nowadays but on the other hand These 4 flavors I did remember which was the Pekoe Special and Thai - Tea Whitties. Yung Mung-Y and Pretty in Pink very unique taste with bunch of toppings. 5/5 Employee was really patience with me while I stare at menu while getting confused and waiting patiently so I appreciated that. I must comeback until I see you all again! read more

This place seem to be bustling, around after hours. A lot of young customers and middle age ones as well. They have a variety of drinks which I had the pleasure of trying the Fuzy Brown, very cute names for drinks. Place is 10/10, Drinks 9/10, Fast service 10/10, cleanliness 8/10, Greetings when you enter 7/10. I give it 4 stars because it's really hard to find a 10/10 place and you have to be equipped on top of the 5 things I think every place should display. However this place is great already but can be really amazing. It has potential to be a 10/10 place. I look forward to try other drinks here but when it's not so crazy. My kids love getting Pekoe because they love the half/half combo cup, which they call "Friendship Cups" because they share it. I love the half/half combo cup because it's less sugar for the kids and less expensive. It was my first time getting Pekoe, and the first thing that stood out was how clubby the interior is. Loud music with lots of lights flashing. Honestly a pretty big deterrent for me, as it would not be a place that I would personally want to hang out with a friend over boba with. I got the Gold Mine, and it was generally good. The tea flavor was a little diluted, but quite creamy. However, there was a very strange fruity taste to the drink, even though my drink contained no fruit components. I generally avoid fruit milk teas, so this was off putting. The pearls were quite soft at first, but firmed to a texture that I quite enjoyed. Definitely a lot of ice like other reviewers have pointed out, even though I asked for less ice. The drink is also quite large; I wish they had more size options, because I would have definitely downsized from even the smallest size. Probably won't be back considering the vast array of options nearby! read more

I love that they have cups that can fit 2 different drinks! O R D E R E D - Just dew It - Mario and Lui-chee V E R D I C T Both drinks were super tasty. It was a hot day so obviously I wanted something refreshing, but also love a good milky drink, so thats why I got both. A reminder that if you choose to order the cup that fits both drinks, like I did, it does not work for their slushie drinks. It only works for their milk tea drinks and their fruit tea drinks, which is perfectly fine! I love how all of their drinks have creative names but I will stick with my mario and lui-chee because it was so good, I came back a few days later and got another one, in the regular cup. Only down side, personally, is that they used crushed ice so everytime you take a sip, you get ice also, but thats a matter of preference as each customer is different. read more

Tip: Next time you have a raffle at grand opening, you should probably have someone regulating the line. I was in line since 8:30AM and I've seen at least 20-30 people cut in front of me to join their friends. One friend group even bringing in 6+ people in with them late, with one friend literally joining the line at 10AM. Or even just hand out raffle tickets at like 9AM so you can count who the first real 100 are. Hell, I volunteer myself to do that for you lol. As for the drinks, I've been to Pekoe many times before. I only live 5 minutes away from the Berryessa location. Some usual go-to's are White Winter, Angela, Pekoe Special, Melrose, Pretty in Pink. Although it was late Sunday evening, some tables were already occupied. One wall is filled with a huge screen playing K-pop music videos, with seating on both sides of the cafe. We ordered the Cuppa Vo (Vietnamese Coffee normally with Custard, but they ran out of custard) and Split Cup with Pretty In Pink and Kawaii. Cuppa Vo was really strong, and Kawaii would have been better if it was less sweet (I forgot to ask if they could adjust the sugar level). First and foremost, let me just start off by saying WOW! I have never been to a boba tea lounge before! I honestly have never even seen a boba tea place like this. The layout of the place had me shook! It was so cute inside! So, I waited about 2 hours in line for their grand opening. I ordered a Pretty in Pink milk tea and a yellow mango fruit tea. I wanted to give myself a chance to try one of each. The pretty in pink was so good. It was a strawberry milk tea and it had boba and strawberry jellies inside. I ordered it half sweet and it had a great taste! The boba wasn't mushy or too sweet like other places too! The yellow mango was good AF. When I took my first sip I felt like i was biting into a mango! I also ordered that half sweet and it came with mango jellies inside which had the perfect chewy bite! Also, shoutout to the cashier! I didn't catch his name but thank you for your awesome customer service and being so patient with my indecisive self! You're drink recommendations were *chefs kiss*! So basically, Was it worth the wait? Was it worth the hype? Yaaaaaaaaas! I honestly am not a fan of milk tea but Pekoe has deff changed my mind. I will deff be returning soon.
