Fantastic food and service. We attended a banquet dinner to celebrate my father-in-law and ate so many wonderful dishes. The place is brightly lit, clean and well taken care of.

We went a little crazy with our brunch order last weekend because we showed up starving! But, it gave us a chance to try a lot of different dishes :) Not every dish we ordered was a hit unfortunately. Let me start with the highlights. House Special Clay Pot Fried Rice: This was my favorite dish of the meal. The rice was cooked to perfection, not too wet and not too dry. It was just right. For the greens, they seemed to use either Asparagus or Chinese Broccoli stems (chopped), though I couldn't quite tell which. They were generous with the seafood too. It came loaded with Shrimp, Crab Meat, and other seafood, and everything tasted delicious. I'd definitely order this again. Lobster E Noodles: I enjoyed this dish overall, especially the amount of lobster they included. They definitely didn't skimp on it. That said, the noodles were a little softer than I prefer and may have been slightly overcooked. At $56, it was also almost twice the price of the Clay Pot Fried Rice, which we enjoyed way much more. Because of that, I don't think this dish was worth the price. Honey Walnut Shrimp: This one was a bit of a disappointment. The shrimp wasn't as juicy as I expected, and the sauce just wasn't as tasty as some of the Honey Walnut Shrimp dishes I've had elsewhere. I'd skip this one next time. Steamed Dim Sum Variety: We tried several items, including Pork Shumai, Shrimp Dumplings, Noodle Rolls, and a few others. Overall, everything was very good. The Pork Shumai was probably my favorite of the bunch. It was steamed perfectly and delicious. Xiao Long Bao: This was very disappointing to me. The presentation was excellent, with each dumpling served in its own small ceramic spoon, which looked really nice and cute. However, I thought the dumpling skin was a bit thicker than what I'm used to. The service was good overall. The restaurant itself looked very chic, modern, and new. My only complaint is that the tables were placed a little too close together, which made it feel somewhat cramped when seated next to other patrons. Other than that, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Whenever we asked for things like Chili Oil, they were happy to bring it out quickly.

Pearl Bay Manor is located in the Hacienda Crossings shopping center, occupying a space across from the Regal IMAX Theater. My buddy George F. and his wife invited Steve T., his wife, and I to a dim sum lunch on 10/16/2025. It was pretty busy when we walked in at around 12:30pm. The wait for a table was short. We were seated quickly at a large round table in front of the impressive live seafood tanks. The interior was very clean and nicely decorated. Aside from the aforementioned seafood tanks, the giant LED display in the back was also very eye-catching. George did most of the ordering and he got a plethora of items. Overall, I thought they were authentic and delicious. I especially loved the white pepper pork tripe, siu mai, steamed bean curd skin rolls, and pan-fried noodles with spareribs and bitter melon. They were definitely the standouts. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Some of them were Cantonese speaking only. Based on this experience, I thought this place was solid. If you decide to visit, you can expect an authentic dim sum experience in a comfortable setting. 4 solid stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - Ample parking on site.

Pearl Bay Manor served up a Chinese feast on a cloth-lined table and circular turntable for ease of passing food around family style. Every dish was excellent. Staff were helpful when I asked for vinegar and white pepper to supplement the soup. The space is wide and tall inside, so it's aptly named a manor.

Ordered like 10 dishes because I wanted to try this place and waited a long time. You have to wait close to the entrance to hear them because their speakers don't project outside. They will give away your table in a heartbeat so try to stay close. But they will also help you out and seat you next if they've given away your spot. All of the food I would say I've had better in Oakland or San Francisco. But it's not bad for where it's located. The salted egg yolk pumpkin didn't have that saltiness you crave. Taro puffs were not very savory or too much taro for the filling ratio. The water chestnut jello thing was sweet and crisp. I'd never had this before so it was a new experience and worth trying . The Xiao long bao Shanghai dumplings had too thick dough imo. Egg custard was so eggy I've never tasted one so egg forward I don't know what their recipe is but I'm not a fan.

Don't come here during holidays. Their kitchen isn't capable of keeping up. They didn't take any reservations under 10 people. So we couldn't make any reservation. They had a line coming out the door before they opened. So by the time the first wave of people sat down the rest has to wait for the second wave. But the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed with the orders and they weren't able to get the orders out. So the people just sat and sat and sat. Only about 4 tables were cleared out after 1hr and 15min. Go find another location for holidays or come and line up many hours before they opened.

My brother recommend this place for dim sum . It was on a Saturday and the wait was not bad at all. The decor is very nice, modern , and grand. Dim sum was very authentic. I like unusual dishes and the shrimp bands with lychee inside was very creative. The outer layer was crispy , shrimp paste was tasty and had a nice texture. Then lychee was a nice surprise inside .

First time here and it can feel a bit out of place as it's a Chinese Restaurant smack in the middle of a mall that's normally occupied by American food. The restaurant itself isn't that big compared to others, and the seats were tightly packed. There was a 45 minute delay from when we order the food till when the soup first arrived, and the rest of the food came shortly after. It was worth the wait as the food was fresh and tasty.

Went to this dim sum place on the weekends and this place was packed. You get a number from the front desk and the wait time was an about an hour. This place is small compared to other Chinese dim sum places in town. Overall dim sum has variety and pretty good. Restaurant is clean and service is good. We ordered our typical dim sum. The only thing I don't like is the coconut dessert.

First time trying out Pearl Bay Manor back in February. Did a dinner meet up on a Friday with my friends. When I arrived 10 mins before the music was loud and the tables all had numbers for a banquet. For people who wanted to dine in they take you to another area where you have to walk through the main area to get there. Unfortunately they didn't serve any dim sum during dinner but they did have a small selection on their menu for appetizer. All three us originally planned to order the same dish. When our server came she was like you want the same dishes so we decided change it up. With what we ordered, it looks like we had a feast with just the three of us. My friend Flora ended up ordering all the dishes for us since Maggie and I don't really know what's good to order. For starters we started with the Westlake minced beef soup. For the main dishes we ordered the sautéed Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, house special clay pot fried rice, turbot fish and peking duck half (Flora gave me and Maggie a demonstration on how to eat this dish). Flora wasn't sure if we were going to like the food she picked but each dish turned out to be really delicious. The highlight for me would have to be the Westlake soup and the clay pot fried rice. As we were looking at the receipt I did notice that they charged us twice for the turbot fish. It was super pricy! $46.99 for just for 1 fish. We only asked for one dish but somehow ended up with 2 fishes on the plate but they didn't tell us. I guess they thought one fish would not be enough for the three of us. They also only accept 2 credit cards to split the payment on the bill. Overall, food was delicious but on the super pricy side. Service was attentive and friendly.

Honestly shocked by how unique some of the menu items are here! I absolutely loved the classic Panfried Noodle Rolled in XO Sauce and Crispy Pork Macau Style. My personal favorites! The Panfried Water Chestnut Cake was SO GOOD. A fan favorite! Sweet, jelly-like, and crunchy. I've never had a dish like it. I highly recommend if you're feeling adventurous. I was impressed by the Litchi Shrimp Balls! So juicy and slightly sweet. The puffed rice exterior was satisfying, and the center was cooked perfectly. Plus, there's a canned lychee in the middle! Soooooo delicious! Har Gow and Siu Mai were just okay/average.... but everything else was so overwhelmingly good, it was negligible.

This is a nice addition to the area. My family has been here for dinner service during Chinese new year and dim sum on a Sunday afternoon. Our dim sum experience was much better than dinner. DINNER Got seated without menus. Had to wait to get menus. Then wait again to order. Pretty much at least 30 mins past reservation time and then another 30 mins to finally order. It's been a while so I don't exactly remember the names of the items we ordered. But some things were not good (spare ribs), honey walnut shrimp (we ordered two orders of this, and it was very skimpy, the shrimp wasn't crispy, the rice noodles was so soggy). DIM SUM Everything tasted good. Sticky rice in lotus leaf stood out. It had a very generous amount of salted egg yolk through out. Can skip the fried squid, very underwhelming. PARKING can be difficult depending on when. OVERALL, a great new spot for dim sum. But I would have to come again for dinner to see how I feel.

Sunday 12:30pm check in with 30 min wait. Tell me why when the lady up front called our number, she gave away our table because she said we weren't there. Kind of rude. But when there's a lot of Chinese people dining, that tells you it better be good. Eventually we were seated in the back room near the bathrooms on a two top. Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce - good Beef chow fun - good Har gow, shu mai, fried shrimp balls, were basic. I needed a lot of chili Mango pudding - not good, it was hard like you could throw on the wall and the pig mold will hold its shape. Overall, food was okay, standard. But service was not so good.

Unfortunately, my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The food quality has gone downhill, the prices have become excessive, and what bothered me most was feeling misled by the billing. A cucumber special was advertised at $5.95, but when the bill arrived, the charge was $14.90. On top of that, an automatic gratuity was added to a table of only three people with one of them being 4 year old. She barely even ate with tea price per person. I don't mind paying premium prices for great food and service, but I do expect transparency. Many of the dim sum items also felt extremely overpriced, $9 for two egg tarts is hard to justify and sadly they weren't worth that. Felt like it was not fresh. It's unfortunate because this used to be a place I genuinely looked forward to visiting. Sadly, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.

Because of my excitement with catching up with my friends, I did not take much pictures of the food or setting but to affirm, the food was delicious and the tea was smooth, fresh; the eatery was nicely decorated and spacious too. Don't know if my non-Chinese friends understand this, BUT YOU CAN ask for various, different kinds of teas and their combination. Yes, multiple pots too. The dim sum is obviously the center piece but the tea "yum chai" is equally the star in my opinion to complement the foods. I recommend a lighter tea for lite drinkers like Chrysanthemum tea ie flower steeped, no caffeine and floral. However, if you want a bold tea try "Bo lay" black tea for lightly sipping when eating lots and lots of heavy food. Pro-tip: For tea adventurers, try a fusion teapot (e.g. Chrysanthemum + Bo lay), combo tea flavors is different and neat when i crave for a different drink. I'll be back for sure. Hope you do too!

I think I like BBQ Pork and Dry Shrimp separate more. Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll ($9.00): One of the classics, and will always be my number one pick! I prefer my rice rolls to not have lettuce in them though. Dough Stick Rice Noodle Roll ($7.95): I thought that the dough stick could have been fresher, it was a bit stale by the time we ate it. Pork and Gold Preserved Egg Congee ($7.50): Really well flavored, and good amount of pork and egg. The consistency is thicker than I'm used to but it's still good. Shrimp Wonton Soup ($11.75): Nice clean broth, and the wontons were nicely seasoned. I do wish there was more soup. Shrimp Dumplings ($7.25): We just wanted to try these, and honestly they were just OK. Skin fell apart pretty easily but the shrimp was big. Fried Sesame Balls ($6.00): Also just OK. Typical red bean filling, nothing too special but nice to end the meal with something sweet. - OVERALL - A nice quick lunch with some comforting favorites. I wish we had a rice roll spot in my town!
