These Pavlova beauties are pretty and delicious!

Janice's pavlovas are sooo pretty and delicious. I found her on Instagram and have never really tried pavlovas before. We ordered it for my mom's 70th birthday and we are glad we did! It was such a hit! So many of our guests asked her Janice's details to place an order. We highly recommend Janice's pavlovas. She was very easy to work with and easy to find her place after she send her location pin. We will definitely order again!

I like to look on Instagram at food and stuff I want to try. This was my best find so far. I need a cake for my birthday and decided to try the mini versions so I can share with my friends. I ordered last week and I just picked up another order today. They both tasted so good. I think I'm going to have to try every flavor!!

The talented and creative owner and artist, Janice, blessed us with this delicious and stunning p'vlova! Gave as a birthday gift... will definitely be ordering more! Easily ordered and able to add a special touch of petals. Safe to pick up and pay. So glad I found this gem in OC! Thanks so much Janice!!

Heybings is one of my go to spots in the oc for bingsoo…read more Their seasonal flavors are really good (please bring back the honeydew and grape). Their flavors are usually more subtle and aren't punchy, but I honestly love that over a syrup drenched bingsoo. The mochi waffles are also great so pick one up if you still have room for more! This location is a lot less busy than the other one although there can still be a line. I usually only experience a short wait in line and for a table.

I really wanted to get the Mango again, but unfortunately they were out so it wasn't available. Still, I loved both flavors we got! The Strawberry was my favorite. I loved that there were actual layers of strawberry and shaved ice throughout instead of just having the fruit on top. Both were also topped with a small scoop of ice cream, which was such a nice touch. Everything was refreshing and not overly sweet, so it made for a perfect dessert after dinner. Seating is pretty limited, but we got lucky and found a table that fit all 4 of us. If you're coming with a larger group, it might be a little harder to find a table, especially during a busy time. Definitely still worth coming back for, and I'll be keeping an eye out for when the Mango flavor comes back!

I could seriously drink this all the time! I reallllly wish they would open one closer to me, like in Cerritos, Los Angeles, or even Westminster. It's a little bit of a drive all the way to Irvine, but honestly, it's worth it because this is probably my favorite mango dessert spot! The place itself is small and cute, with only a few seats inside, but they also have outdoor seating. Service is great. You're in and out. They don't take long preparing your order. Every time I go there, my order is on point and everything always comes out delicious. Parking is plentiful, which is always a plus. Definitely a must-try if you love mango desserts! ever since I discovered this place, I've been going at least twice a month. It's a 35-40 minute drive but it's so worth it.

Hui Lau Shan -- Mangoes, Brain Freeze & One Bee Awaiting the Hereafter…read more 9/7/26 -- Irvine, CA -- 5/5 After Korean BBQ, we arrived at Hui Lau Shan -- pronounced roughly hoy lo sahn in Cantonese -- already stuffed to the structural limits of the human abdomen. Naturally, this seemed like an appropriate time for dessert. Hui Lau Shan is a Hong Kong-based dessert chain heavily devoted to mango, which is immediately apparent from the display case filled with glossy dessert mannequins identified by little tags like "J3 Pomelo & Mango with Sago." The place knows its constituency. If mango is your religion, this is at minimum a chapel. The Irvine location itself is remarkably unpretentious: cracked, slightly sticky-looking concrete floors, deafening music that sounded approximately 15 years past its cultural sell-by date, and a youthful crowd containing several people whose legs appeared skinnier than my fingers. I felt less like a customer and more like an archaeological specimen temporarily admitted for observation. Being the radical nonconformist that I am, I came to a mango dessert shop and ordered the watermelon with coconut jelly. On a hot Irvine day, it was excellent -- cold, clean, refreshing and just sweet enough. 5/5. The little yellow Hui Lau Shan spoon, complete with cheerful fruit-headed mascot, provided an additional level of emotional support I did not know dessert utensils were capable of. We also had the J3 Pomelo & Mango with Sago, which arrived as mango, pomelo, sago and a scoop of mango ice cream lounging together in a bowl like wealthy relatives at a resort. Also 5/5. Cold enough to initiate a brain freeze, but on this particular evening brain activity had already been reduced considerably by KBBQ, so little was lost. The ordering system is straightforward: your receipt gives you an order number and server name, and the display samples make choosing fairly idiot-resistant. Ours even identified the J3 and the watermelon dessert clearly enough that no graduate degree in tropical fruit studies was required. There was, however, one melancholy resident inside the display case: a small bee apparently trapped behind the plastic among the immaculate fake desserts. Outside, Irvine remained warm and prosperous. Inside, mangoes glistened. The young remained young. The bee contemplated mortality. Los Angeles throws pollution into the atmosphere at rush hour; Hui Lau Shan throws mango into essentially everything else. A very good dessert stop after an irresponsibly large meal. Especially if you love mango, shaved ice, fruit desserts and the mild humiliation of realizing everyone around you appears young enough to be your intern. 5/5. If you are a mango lover, you will probably leave happy. If you are a dying bee trapped behind the dessert display, your evening is developing somewhat differently.

My husband and I really loved the boba. But at 100% sweet, the drink was wayyy too sweet that we had to dilute it with water. Next time I would get half sweet. It had a very nice black tea flavor that shone through which is unique from other boba shops.

My family and I have been patrons of Cream Pan in Tustin for nearly two decades now, even before…read morethe TikTok strawberry croissant craze and even before it opened more locations like in Fountain Valley and Lomita. The quality has just been so utterly consistent. These baked goods truly taste rustic and homemade; I believe the freshness is guaranteed and everything is baked daily. I always buy the shuku pan to make sandwiches my daily lunches and the country bread/sourdough for my avocado toast and breakfasts. The sandwiches made in-house are also recommended especially the chicken katsu and the assorted ham/tuna/egg salad. I like the croquette and egg salad in a bun especially. All of these are savory and flavorful yet subtle. I also recommend any of the pastries including curry pan, melon pan, and of course the strawberry croissants but beyond that I also really like the strawberry banana croissant and blueberry croissant. There is also a selection of drinks made in-house café-style as well as bottled Japanese drinks. The staff are friendly and I really like the space even though it's small. You can find seating outside especially if you avoid rush hours. Of all the three locations, this one is my favorite because it's so rustic and historic and really fits in with the overall vibe and aesthetic of Old Town Tustin and the El Camino Real. Please check this bakery out; it's one of the best in all of SoCal in my opinion.
