Drunken noodle
Jennifer H.

I think the only thing we got which was good was the drunken noodles. The other tables near us also ordered pad Thai and pad see euw which looked good. The roti masaman is a hard no - they don't give you enough roti and the sauce was basically exactly the same as the khao soy noodles. The flavor of the chicken satay was lackluster. We got the fish tilapia special which was also okay but not what we expected - it came with filets instead of frying the whole fish. The space looked really cute though expect to be there for a while because there was literally one server running the entire restaurant.

Natty the best in customer service Love the little thai place food and ambience Pad Thai the best

Khao soi
Kirsten F.

Well I just had a life changing meal on my lunch break. This place is incredible I highly recommend the Khao Soi it was so comforting and shockingly not as heavy as I thought it would be. Chef Q is incredible and Natty my server was the sweetest as well. I really enjoyed my whole experience and I'll definitely be back for more !!!

Pineapple fried rice
Rohini G.

The mains are good and standard but pass on the appetizers. We got a sampler with shrimp rolls, curry puffs, and chicken dumplings. The dumplings were unseasoned shumai, the curry ouffs were tasty but nothing worth the cost, and the shrimp rolls were literally shrimp in a friend roll rather than a spring roll. The pinapple fried rice was a hit. Panang curry was good. Pad thai noodles were tasty too and not too oily or soggy. Drinks are fun - tried a lychee spritz which was refreshing.

Papaya Salad... good but a bit on the $$ side for Long Island
Lisa E.

3.5 stars... nothing objectionable other than the odd spiritual country religious type music, but not somewhere that I would return to or recommend. I identified what makes these small mom and pop places seem to have a lack of charm and it's the hotel conference room type shellacked dark wood furniture. If this setting had some cute, trendy colorful distressed wooden tables and chairs and some funky tin floral tableware, and some Thai style music, it wouldn't look and feel so bland. The music was a killer & a deal breaker. As was the 3.99 credit card fee.

I couldn't get a refund because the restaurant had already accepted my order -- and since I was the one who cancelled, Uber Eats treated it as a voluntary cancellation. No refund. I haven't tried their food yet -- I'll update this review once I do.

3.5 Stars for their lunch specials!…read more This was our first visit, and we only ordered a salad and two lunch specials. I would definitely come back to try other items from their regular menu. I found the entrees in the lunch special a little skimpy. These are the dishes we shared: -- Papaya Salad ($12): this is from their regular menu, and I thought it was excellent! Well balanced and so tasty! -- Drunken Noodles w.Beef (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Soup, which was a Tom Yum Soup. The Soup was very spicy but the Drunken Noodles were very mild; almost bland. It definitely needed more flavors and wok hei, but still ok. -- Massaman Curry w.Shrimp (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Salad, which came with a Peanut sauce. The Salad was actually pretty good; the peanut sauce was slightly sweet. The Massaman Curry w.Shrimp was very weak in flavor and only came with 3 little shrimps. I would suggest you order a different protein and skip the shrimp. Customer service was good; albeit there was nobody to greet us when we first arrived, so we just seated ourselves. But service got better. They didn't rush us to order and let us linger after we finished eating. But after a while, we were asked to leave since they close the restaurant in between the lunch and dinner service (between 3:30-4:30pm). Sorry, we were not aware of this! All in all, a decent first experience. Next time, I'd skip the lunch specials and just order off their regular menu.

Super friendly staff. Hot and sour soup- great balance of flavors but not sour enough. Certainly hot The Thai soup - absolutely delivers on spice and thickness. Dangerously delicious! Chicken tikka masala- sauce is nice and thick, seems like made with coconut milk not cream. Seemed to have 0 salt added. Had some spice flavor but missed the mark on a true tikka. Hakka chicken - failed to deliver on the promise of flavor. Had good taste but nothing note worthy. Seems to have fallen on the bland side Pad Thai - more saucy than other places. Shrimp in the dish are all tiny baby shrimp. Tastes a bit none traditional but overall pretty good. Their side of hot sauce is a very interesting one. Unique flavor. Would I come back? Probably but not for a while. However I would advise trying it as many people have had great experiences. I didn't want their ratings to be hit by a 3. Try it!

Bravo! Bravo! Absolutely outstanding Thai food at great prices and a great location close to me…read more Everything on go. I ordered the chicken pad see ew, beef red curry, chicken satay, and basil chicken. Tried to hit every meat group. Next time gotta try the fish The Chicken Pad See Ew was a standout. Wide rice noodles with that perfect chewy texture and beautiful wok hei char. The savory-sweet soy-based sauce coated everything perfectly, and the mix of tender chicken and juicy pieces made it incredibly satisfying. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The chicken was tender with great texture, and it paired amazingly with jasmine rice. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous too -- we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. As my son would say "10 out of 10!" but since we are on yelp, we'll have to settle with a 5. Give this place a try.

Portions were also an issue. The chicken came in a tiny container, AND was less than half-filled. The shrimp in the Panang Curry were a bright spot (perfectly cooked!), but the curry itself lacked the typical creamy consistency. Hopefully they take this as constructive feedback.

Long Island Restaurant Week win!…read more My best friend and I came here for Jade Eatery & Lounge during Long Island Restaurant Week and WOW -- everything was so delicious. The prix fixe menu gave us so much food. Every course came out beautifully presented, full of flavor, and honestly more than enough to leave us satisfied (and then some). From the starters to the entrées and dessert, everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The vibe is perfect for a night out -- stylish, relaxed, and great for conversation. This was a girls' night, but I already know I'll be back for a date night with my husband. It's that kind of place. Highly recommend, especially during Restaurant Week -- but definitely worth visiting any time. Can't wait to come back!

The food is probably one of the worst Asian fusion places I've had and I honestly feel like all of the money goes into presentation instead of actual quality. I've been here a few times and for some reason, have been around people that ordered takeout from here a few times so I've given them a chance more times than I should have and they have never delivered. The drinks are okay, definitely another one of those "presentation heavy" style drinks for some simple cocktails but I wont fault them for that. The real problem here is the food. I've ordered a few of their noodle dishes and it's honestly impressive how they manage to avoid having any flavor in their dishes. Like, I dont even know how you can get shrimp to taste like nothing but they've definitely done it here! The chicken I've had in their dishes is without a doubt frozen and if its not flavorless, its definitely rubbery and about as appetizing as eating a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Aside from the fact that their portion sizes are way too small for the prices they are charging. If you want Indian food, there are plenty of better options on the same street and same thing if you want Asian food. If you want to impress someone for about 5 minutes, take them to the actual restaurant, stare at some fish, get 1 drink and then high tail it out of there cause even the fish deserve better food than what they serve here.

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. The dish was presented traditionally with the all the toppings. The duck sauce was also perfect. A beautiful dish that fulfilled the 3 categories of Chinese cooking: color, fragrance and taste. Our next favorite in presentation and taste is the pork belly with pumpkin. The presentation of the dish is eye popping. The pork belly is unmistakably cooked by a master chef. The texture is chewy (skin), soft (fat) and dense (meat). The sauce may look over the top, but it adds to the silkiness of the pieces. The "fat" is not greasy. It's puzzling how they rendered the grease. I grew up eating this dish and cook it too. This dish by far is the best I've had. Service is fantastic; helpful and attentive.
