Tried to hit every meat group. Next time gotta try the fish The Chicken Pad See Ew was a standout. Wide rice noodles with that perfect chewy texture and beautiful wok hei char. The savory-sweet soy-based sauce coated everything perfectly, and the mix of tender chicken and juicy pieces made it incredibly satisfying. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The chicken was tender with great texture, and it paired amazingly with jasmine rice. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous too -- we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. As my son would say "10 out of 10!" but since we are on yelp, we'll have to settle with a 5. Unfortunately, our recent meal was really disappointing. The side of white rice had a brown, gooey clump in it that made me concerned it had spoiled or scorched, and the Basil Chicken was so tough and overcooked it was impossible to swallow, served in a sauce that was thin like hot water. Portions were also an issue. The chicken came in a tiny container, AND was less than half-filled. The shrimp in the Panang Curry were a bright spot (perfectly cooked!), but the curry itself lacked the typical creamy consistency. Hopefully they take this as constructive feedback. read more

This is my GO-TO spot for Thai food! I've been here multiple times so this is a culmination of my visits. First off, the ambience is very light and cultural. They have cultural decorative on the walls and on the seats. There's a lot of light that comes into the restaurant and they have a pretty good amount of seating. The service is great! Literally every dish I have had here has seasoned and prepared well. This is what I've had so far: Appetizers: -Curry Puffs: so crispy on the outside and fluffy. The curry mix inside is perfectly seasoned and paired with the cucumber sauce. -Tom Yum soup with Tofu: yessss! So hard to find a well made one of this soup and they definitely do it amazingly. The spice and flavor of the soup is beautiful and it comes packed with veggies- such a nice healthy choice that could even replace your meal! -Spicy Calamari: such a winner! The calamari comes out crispy and fresh such that it is not overcooked or rubbery. The sauces on it if I'm not mistaken are Sriracha and Spicy Mayo- we devoured these so quickly! Entrees: -Shrimp Pad Thai: soooo fresh always and so delicious! This pad Thai is not a dry one at all and it is perfectly packed with flavors. One of my favorite Pad Thai's! -Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken: so well made- the fried rice is flavored well and you can tell it was made fresh. The pineapple adds a nice kick to the rice and this is definitely suitable as a meal. -Green Curry with Chicken: flavored well and not spicy at all. With the chicken it pairs well and it comes with white rice. -Beef Noodle Soup: it's basically Pho- has beef balls and is a decent soup if you're in the mood for a soup dinner Drinks: -Lychee Thai Tea: sooooo delicious!!! I forgot how good this place was and so glad i've rediscovered it lately. Came here for father's day and came again recently for lunch and everything was so good. The tom yum noodle soup was so good. Super authentic, a great portion size of not just noodles, but meat, fish balls, and ground pork. We shared the pad see ew as an appetizer and it was so good. You can taste how authentic it was and tasted fully thai flavors, without the hint of chinese flavors that you can find in a lot of other thai restaurants. Service is not stellar, but they're doing their best for a small restaurant with a limited staff that seems to focus their efforts in the kitchen. Had a sit down dinner here and enjoyed it. The space is clean and is relatively empty on weeknight. Staff was attentive and polite, and I appreciate that they explained things like what an Udon Noodle is. The food comes out fast, and tasted great. I got the Tom Yum soup with tofu, Pad see ew with crispy pork and some Thai Iced tea. The Thai iced tea was delightful. The Tom yum soup was light and flavorful. The tofu was nice and soft. As for the pad see ew, the noodles were yumm, good amount of veggies, but the crispy pork was weird. Few pieces were nice, but most were kind of powdery crispy. Not my taste at all. Tried the soft shell crab with a spicy basil sauce (seasonal) and a drunken noodles and both were generous sizes and tasty. Spice level was a bit lower but still present. After reading the reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try since we were in the neighborhood for a consultation appointment and we weren't disappointed. We had the spicy basil fried rice with shrimp and chicken with basil lunch specials which both came with soup. Everything was so flavorful and extremely spicy especially since we asked for "Thai spicy" level. Our tongues were burning in fire but that was exactly what we were looking for. The service was fairly quick and the staff were very warm and sweet. The restaurant was very clean with very affordable prices. Definitely check it out. We loved most of our main dishes and their wings, not sure how I feel about their roti appetizer. I really enjoy this place. I've been coming here regularly for the last few years. For a while, each time I visited I would try to step out of my comfort zone and order something new, something I've never tasted before. I must say that I'm glad I did because I have a few different Thai dishes that are now my favorite. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, but my number one dish is the Penang curry chicken and the roti appetizer. This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant on Long Island. It's been tradition to go here on Valentine's Day for the last three years with my husband. We thought it was the best kept secret because there was never anyone here on Valentine's Day night. I guess this year the secret has been let out because this place was HOPPING. We walked in and one of the women who worked there asked if we had a reservation. I panicked because I never thought I needed one. There was one table left that was open and we were lucky enough to snag it before anyone else came in. Service is always great here and there was no exception for this visit as crowded as it was. There were just two women who were working on the floor and they seemed to handle all the tables with ease. Our food was great! This was our first time getting the appetizer sampler for two, and it was fantastic. My beef with the basil sauce is my go to order. It is one of the spicier dishes and although I'm a baby when it comes to hot food, I suffer through this dish because it's so darn good. My husband's flat noodles with chicken, baby bok choy and broccoli was delicious as well. The only critique we have is that the chicken was slightly on the dry side. But given that the cook was in high demand at the time it was definitely something we can overlook. Looking around it seemed like all the customers enjoyed their meals. Very good. Our daughters favorite for Vegetable Drunken Noodles when we don't want to drive down to RVC. I always have the same thing, Mango Salad very spicy or Papaya Salad. Tonight we had both. We have split the whole fish.. they have 3 sizes and it pisses me off to no end that whatever large size we get, the waitress returns and informs us that it is a few dollars more than quoted.. I have also seen tables of other diners having the fish and somehow get the feeling our price is "different". It's very peaceful and clean, but dim and a bit sad. 80's Muzak. Only God knows but that wasn't even it, the food was cold, the food tasted old and not to be gross but after finding the bug I ended up literally throwing up from how grossed out I already was I'm pissed because that's 27$ half in the trash can and half down the toilet. My fiancé enjoys this Thai restaurant so I was excited to try! We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet. We ordered the chive dumplings as the appetizer. They were delicious and crispy! We ordered the pad see ew and pad kee mao with crispy pork. The crispy pork was very flavorful and fatty.
