You chose an appetizer or soup from the list and then your entree with choice of protein. My mom opted for this option. She got spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. She really enjoyed it, and the serving was plentiful. I ordered off the regular menu and I had chicken satay and a side of broccoli. The chicken satay was delish! It had a lot of flavor. Had a really pleasant dinner here, although prices made me feel like I was in Manhattan! The decor inside is incredible, and the servers were all super friendly. I was impressed by the extensive menu, as well as the more authentic dishes listed by region of Thailand. The typical dishes like curries and Pad Thai go for about $20-$21 while the authentic dishes are more. I got the Crying Tiger which was soooo good. The sauces that came with the dish were incredible (not spicy either). If I had more time, I would have stayed for dessert! read more

Let's start with the good stuff. Gorgeous interior. Not too much seating but I stopped in for take out. Now for the food: Tomkha soup - oh such delicious velvety coconut milk broth jam packed with chicken, onion and tiny slivers of lemongrass Shrimp pad Thai- shrimp cooked to absolute perfection and on a takeout order that traveled 1 hr. I don't know how they did it! Other than that the noodles in the pad Thai were also excellent. Very satisfying Red curry - beautiful full bodied flavor. Everything I'd imagine a red curry to be. Heat level is on point Tum senlek - this is a dish I've never heard of before but was curious about especially for the crispy pork belly. Let's just say it's a unique dish. Heat level is off the charts. What really upset me is that they forgot the pork belly! Overall the food is exquisite. Flavors are on point. I am absolutely coming back. Downside is had to wait over an hour for a pickup order and they forgot a key ingredient in a dish. That part I can't forgive and the only reason for the 4 not 5. It is super exciting that they have so many dishes I've never seen anywhere else before. They are new and super popular and I have no doubt my next visit will earn all 5 stars. Went to Udee Thai at Plainview for a special occasion. I was very impressed with how clean and modern the interior was. A lot of thought and planning has gone in to make this place look incredible. We tried a number of dishes on their lunch special. Lunch special came with a small appetizer and the entree. I liked their chicken spring roll and pad kee mow. This is a new Thai restaurant in Morton Village Shopping center. It's decorated beautifully. I love how the menus, dishes, utensils and decor all create this upscale homey atmosphere. The menu has dishes from all over Thailand. I can't wait to try them. My husband, daughter and I ordered things we typically like for a nice Thai dinner. I ordered the tomkha soup, which was delicious but very filling. My husband ordered the tomyum soup to start. Was light and good but spicy. I also enjoyed a green tea in a beautiful floral cup and saucer. For her entree, my daughter had the chicken satay. She didn't love it, but my husband and I thought it was really good. She really loved my husband's chicken pad Thai. He enjoyed it as well. I ordered the shrimp panang curry, was really good. Ample amount of shrimp and vegetables. I don't usually leave a review only after one visit but this little place is worth it! Nicest staff - cordial polite and accommodating and omg the food and ambience are just great!!! A must try. My gf and I came here today for the first time after I saw a review online. She had the lychee and I had the passion fruit sparkling mocktails and they were to die for. Shared some food - basil dumplings and pad tai chicken cashew nut - one with tofu all delicious and fresh. The seasoning is right on the money! Thanks will be going back soon! read more

Overwhelmed by the menu. Too many items - all with flowery descriptions. Ordered something that sounded great but was fried shrimp with broccoli. Shrimp was crunchy but tasteless. Broccoli was mushy and sweet. I did not like it. The server did not stop by during the meal (but our water was refilled). After our dishes were taken away (I left most of the broccoli and the rice, which had an odd consistency), the manager (?) came over to ask how it was - I told him I did not like the meal. He asked if I would like something else. Sure. Too late. Crummy meal ruined the evening and I won't be back. read more

The Thai food is just decent . Nothing really special but the inside is beautiful. I would recommend that they get a bit cheaper and bigger portions. Food was pretty good, however, the Panang Curry was ordered "mild" and came out spicy. My wife couldn't eat it because of the spiciness. This was my second visit, but it will also be my last. Today we were served by a female server whose attitude made us feel very unwelcome. While she did the basic tasks like refill our water and change our plates, her tone of voice and the way she spoke to us came across as rude and unfriendly. We don't feel welcome at all. The food was also very disappointing. We ordered the steamed fish, and it was clearly not freshly prepared. It arrived only warm (Isn't it the steamed fish should be served piping hot???!!)). The skin was dry, and the tail was hard. It honestly felt like the fish had been cooked long before and simply reheated before being served. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially on my second visit. I had hoped for much better, but I won't be returning. read more

Finally a Thai spot opened in Plainview, I called a few minutes before they closed so I was able to place a take out order thankfully. Leena who was working was very polite and sweet, I informed her of our long awaited desire and our close proximity. The food was AMAZING. We loved every second of it. Robust flavors, perfect Thai spice. I couldn't have been happier with a hearty much needed meal. I made sure to let them know we will be returning and frequently. It's very cute inside. Very well decor. Seems like the perfect place for a family meal, a dinner with friends, or that perfect date! Although still awaiting the liquor license they have a wide variety of mocktails. Hands down some of the best Thai food on the island other than their sister partner - UThai Bistro! They offer a bunch of regional dishes which makes me excited to go something new each time. This restaurant was a long time opening. It's very close to my house and I decided to take out food from there tonight. I heard many good things about it from friends. The restaurant is a very nice space. I ordered an appetizer of steamed dumplings, that look more like shumai, than the normal dumplings. They were super flavorful and the sauce that came with them complimented them perfectly. Spicy. Then I had Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. It came with 7 good size shrimp. Very bad experience we had a party of 13 people for lunch, although the restaurant was empty but they wouldn't seat us until all 13 were present. We were 10 of us but had to wait 25 min for the table. Food wasn't great either, soup was horrible with too many tomatoes and onions! Shrimp was too salty. Not going back ! read more
