One star is too much. I am writing this review via voice memo because I am so infuriated at the lack of customer service and professionalism. This restaurant has shown. We ordered two dishes from this restaurant, both with which were insanely expensive however, I was willing to overlook the price if the quality of the food was sufficient. Almost $30 each for pad see yew and pad Thai, totaling over $70 for two dishes when all was set and done. In retrospect, I'm an idiot for paying so much for noodles. Regardless, I indicated "BABY level" of spice on my pad CU as in my old age I just can't handle it anymore. And my old age, I mean my 30s. Back on track, my order was received and not only were there barely any noodles or shrimp in my pad see yew, the container was not even halfway full. Both dishes, the pads see you and the pad Thai were so spicy that neither of us could eat it. Everything would be fine if that was where the story ended, but it's not. Upon calling the restaurant I spoke to a nice but powerless who handed the phone off to an even nicer gentleman with seemingly more power. He completely understood our predicament and offered anything we would want in order to remedy the situation. At this point, it is almost 9 o'clock at night so ordering and waiting for food to be delivered or re-delivered is not an option. We asked for a refund as the food is inedible. I also remind you that these two dishes were over $70 which is absolutely absurd. I also remind you that the pad see yew dish was maybe 50% full with three shrimp in total. The nice nice man asked me if I wanted to speak to the chef to which I said no, I need to speak with a manager. Oh no that wasn't a nice man. That was the nice but powerless lady that's who gave me the nice man. Somehow the Chef got on the phone and that's where everything falls apart. She was so offended that we requested a refund that she insisted that we were wrong, that they don't use spice, that we ate the food and couldn't prove it. She wanted a photo of said spicy food, as if the photo would indicate the level of heat. She thought we ate it already and wanted photo proof. She claimed that we were ruining her restaurant and said that we weren't nice. She said that she wanted us to come to the restaurant and return the food. Go anywhere else for Thai food, especially Galanga in Bay shore, where to the wise if it ain't broke, don't fix it! This is a perfect small restaurant. It's so cozy and well decorated. The food was absolutely delicious. So fresh and a lot per dish. Also there was a nice touch to make the dish unique. I really wanted to like this place from all of the good reviews. Staff friendly place inside very nice with a sit at bar. Food ..... i ordered chicken pad see ew with American broccoli. There were 3 pieces of broccoli and for some reason it tasted like it had curry powder on it I have had this dish every where. Brooklyn queens Manhattan Long Island. Never did I taste it like that. The staff is very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. For drinks we both ordered Jalapeno Margaritas. Small drink with a respectable spirit pour, although it didn't resemble a Margarita. $13.28 For appetizers we had the Fried Spring Roll (Deep Fried Veggie Roll) and the Bangkok Roll Wrap (Shrimp, Mango, Carrot, Wrapped in Lettuce). The Spring Roll was ok and the Bangkok Roll was very good. $28.08 For our main entrées we had Teriyaki Chicken (Sweet Soy, Broccoli, Carrot w/ white rice) Kratiam (Garlic beef, Black Pepper, Soy w/ white rice). The Teriyaki Chicken was pretty good and was flavorful. The Kratiam, aka Garlic beef was tough and somewhat overcooked without much flavor. Both entrée portions could be larger, as the quantity was more suitable for lunch than dinner. $47.84 For dessert we both had the Fried Banana, which was served with ice cream and topped with real whipped cream. The Fried Banana / ice cream was very good. $24.96 All-in-all, would we go back? And we had to wait a long time for our entrees .we eat in a fair amount of Thai restaurants, and this was the most we have paid for a dish. Bon G. and I were in the area and decided to visit TSC for an early Dinner. Although not opened for 2nd seating, the gracious owner brought us in and seated us. She was the only one there, before the evening crew arrived, and she was wonderful, brought us some comp appys for us; Cream Cheese Ragoon and little cubes of fried Tofu... ...both scrumtpous!The place is nicely decorated and they do play soothing music to get you into an relaxed state and ready to enjoy the food to come. For drinks we ordered an incredible coconut drink and an Thai iced tea...both Yum! Very cute Thai restaurant near the village. Decorated beautifully and they just got their liquor license. The food was great and the staff is nice and welcoming. They offer a pre fix menu which has a bunch of options and is reasonably priced. Defintely will come back here!! Came in yesterday for take out. Yum-Lichious! Babylon village needed a real authentic Thai restaurant. Food was amazing and REAL THAI AUTHENTIC! (not like other places who claim they're authentic when their really of Chinese decent). The place is absolutely immaculate and beautiful. Real Zen music and calming videos that set the mood! I had a great experience at this Thai restaurant with my husband for lunch. Our waitress, A, was super friendly and attentive. I ordered Massaman curry with tofu as a protein. The curry sauce was a great pair with rice noodles and was not crazy spicy for a new comer(next time I will definitely amp up the spice a little bit). We recently just moved into the area and were so excited to learn how close this location is to us and an even greater bonus that the food tastes amazing!! The pineapple fried rice with duck was so delicious! It was the perfect portion for me. However, I did find it to be very expensive especially for the portion. I checked in on Yelp and I received a 20% off coupon and even after that it was $29.26. The original price being about $34. Our favorite one is the sea bass deep fried with spicy chili sauce was our favorite and i also love the squid ink pasta. Wanted to try the seafood platter but too bad it wasn't available. Waaayyyy understaffed! Took well over 1 hour to get our food (and that was just the dumpling appetizer). Restaurant was crowded and way too many carry out orders for the amount of employees and staff in the kitchen. Food order got messed up in all the haste. They did try to make it right by waiving the appetizer fee, but the main dishes weren't made correctly. Water glasses sat empty after the initial fill ( we were only drinking water), haphazard service and the food wasn't anything impressive. It was good, but nowhere near great. Nice enough people, but they need to really get it together, especially for a middle of the week night. Not worth the time or money (it's a little pricey). read more

SEVERELY overpriced. Never in my life have I ever seen Thai Iced tea for $6.50. You can literally get boba tea with extra toppings in Bayside for the same costs of a very basic iced drink, even Starbucks. My Shrimp Pad See Ew was $25...insane!!! You can get better Thai food for cheaper all over NYC. The only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is because of the prices. The food is absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, the wings were crispy and cooked to perfection and so was the duck. The portions of the appetizers are way too small to be charging $15. The order of wings only had 5 wings which is also just an awkward number for two people to share. 6 crab rangoons come in an order and again $15. We especially liked the crab rangoons. I absolutely loved the salmon in green curry. The flavor was great and the spice level was perfect. It's a cozy smaller restaurant off of the chaos of deer park ave and main st. The staff was super attentive and very pleasant. Now the food was the real star attraction! I had one of the prefix meals. I got Drunken Noodles as my entree and it was amazing. I also had the Thai Dumplings also amazing.Fried banana... amazing!
