Delicious drinks

I found this little gem by accident. Got on wrong LIRR and turned out we all had great time here. Everything is perfect. Too bad I don't live here, otherwise I would be here every week!

Chicken Pad See-Eew. A little dry and very little broccoli
Mary Kate G.

I really wanted to like this place from all of the good reviews. Staff friendly place inside very nice with a sit at bar. Food ..... i ordered chicken pad see ew with American broccoli. There were 3 pieces of broccoli and for some reason it tasted like it had curry powder on it I have had this dish every where. Brooklyn queens Manhattan Long Island. Never did I taste it like that. I also ordered chicken wings. Those were banging. It had like a citrus zest. I'll order those again Never time I go I'll try a different dish to give them another shot

DIDNT EAT IT- barely existed to begin with...
Jessica P.

One star is too much. I am writing this review via voice memo because I am so infuriated at the lack of customer service and professionalism. This restaurant has shown. We ordered two dishes from this restaurant, both with which were insanely expensive however, I was willing to overlook the price if the quality of the food was sufficient. Almost $30 each for pad see yew and pad Thai, totaling over $70 for two dishes when all was set and done. In retrospect, I'm an idiot for paying so much for noodles. Regardless, I indicated "BABY level" of spice on my pad CU as in my old age I just can't handle it anymore. And my old age, I mean my 30s. Back on track, my order was received and not only were there barely any noodles or shrimp in my pad see yew, the container was not even halfway full. Both dishes, the pads see you and the pad Thai were so spicy that neither of us could eat it. Everything would be fine if that was where the story ended, but it's not. Upon calling the restaurant I spoke to a nice but powerless who handed the phone off to an even nicer gentleman with seemingly more power. He completely understood our predicament and offered anything we would want in order to remedy the situation. At this point, it is almost 9 o'clock at night so ordering and waiting for food to be delivered or re-delivered is not an option. We asked for a refund as the food is inedible. I also remind you that these two dishes were over $70 which is absolutely absurd. I also remind you that the pad see yew dish was maybe 50% full with three shrimp in total. The nice nice man asked me if I wanted to speak to the chef to which I said no, I need to speak with a manager. Oh no that wasn't a nice man. That was the nice but powerless lady that's who gave me the nice man. Somehow the Chef got on the phone and that's where everything falls apart. She was so offended that we requested a refund that she insisted that we were wrong, that they don't use spice, that we ate the food and couldn't prove it. She wanted a photo of said spicy food, as if the photo would indicate the level of heat. She thought we ate it already and wanted photo proof. She claimed that we were ruining her restaurant and said that we weren't nice. She said that she wanted us to come to the restaurant and return the food. Go anywhere else for Thai food, especially Galanga in Bay shore, where to the wise if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I apologize immensely for all in any spelling and grammatical errors, I am too tired and too hungry to proofread this voice memo review.

Lunch14 Drunken Noodles (Keemao)**

Absolutely love this spot! The lunch special is such a great deal and comes with a delicious soup. The drunken noodles are my go-to every time- always fresh, flavorful, and so good. Definitely a staple in the Babylon area!

I really enjoyed this little spot. I loved the aesthetic inside, the staff is also friendly. The food was so delicious. I ordered the red curry, the server made sure to confirm the level of spice and the heat was perfect. The Thai iced tea was delicious as well as the desserts. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Cute restaurant inside. Food was excellent. The servers were friendly and attentive. The portions however were a little small , especially considering the price. And we had to wait a long time for our entrees .we eat in a fair amount of Thai restaurants, and this was the most we have paid for a dish. Plus the price was different than it was on line, which is always annoying. I feel badly writing negative things, as the staff and food were good. But these points are important, when you are eating out and spending hard earned money.

Bon G. and I were in the area and decided to visit TSC for an early Dinner. Although not opened for 2nd seating, the gracious owner brought us in and seated us. She was the only one there, before the evening crew arrived, and she was wonderful, brought us some comp appys for us; Cream Cheese Ragoon and little cubes of fried Tofu... ...both scrumtpous! The place is nicely decorated and they do play soothing music to get you into an relaxed state and ready to enjoy the food to come. For drinks we ordered an incredible coconut drink and an Thai iced tea...both Yum! Our appys were the PorkBBQ and Thai Dumplings....For mains we chose the Red Curry with Chicken prepared Mama and the Basil Beef medium spicy. They will spice to taste..just ask! We closed out the meal with Sticky Rice w/mango...PERFECT foil to a spicy meal! Although their menu is limited compared to other Thai establishments, What they have is delish!!

The venue is easy to access and plenty of on property parking. The place is small, quaint, decorated well, inviting, and clean (including the restroom). The staff is very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. For drinks we both ordered Jalapeno Margaritas. Small drink with a respectable spirit pour, although it didn't resemble a Margarita. $13.28 For appetizers we had the Fried Spring Roll (Deep Fried Veggie Roll) and the Bangkok Roll Wrap (Shrimp, Mango, Carrot, Wrapped in Lettuce). The Spring Roll was ok and the Bangkok Roll was very good. $28.08 For our main entrées we had Teriyaki Chicken (Sweet Soy, Broccoli, Carrot w/ white rice) Kratiam (Garlic beef, Black Pepper, Soy w/ white rice). The Teriyaki Chicken was pretty good and was flavorful. The Kratiam, aka Garlic beef was tough and somewhat overcooked without much flavor. Both entrée portions could be larger, as the quantity was more suitable for lunch than dinner. $47.84 For dessert we both had the Fried Banana, which was served with ice cream and topped with real whipped cream. The Fried Banana / ice cream was very good. $24.96 All-in-all, would we go back? Probably not, the appetizers and dessert were very good, although the cost, quantity and quality would not justify a return visit. Total $146 (including a 20% tip).

My first meal here was absolutely phenomenal!! Best Thai tea and green papaya salad ever!

REVIEW: Masa Asian Cuisine -- Babylon, NY Category: Asian…read moreCuisine & Sushi Bar Location: Deer Park Avenue, Babylon Village Overall Rating: (5 / 5 Stars) CATEGORY BREAKDOWN 1. Kitchen Execution & Hot Dishes: 10/10 A lot of sushi-focused spots treat their kitchen entrees as an afterthought, but Masa does not cut corners. The General Tso's chicken is my go-to, and it is flat-out the best around. Real white-meat chicken, fried to a clean, genuine crisp that holds up under the glaze instead of turning soggy. The sauce strikes that rare, honest balance--savory, tangy, and a legitimate touch of heat without drowning in excess sugar. It's consistent, hot, and prepared with discipline every single time. 2. Sushi Craft & Freshness: 10/10 My wife orders sushi here every visit, and it is always immaculate. The knife work is clean, the fish is fresh and cold, and the rice is seasoned and packed properly without falling apart on the plate. She holds high standards for sushi, and Masa has never missed the mark. Whether it's specialty rolls or traditional sashimi, you can see the respect for the craft on the plate. 3. Atmosphere & Dining Room: 9.5/10 Intimate, clean, and well-maintained. The interior has a warm, relaxed feel that works just as well for an honest sit-down dinner with your spouse as it does for grabbing high-quality takeout for the house. The tables are spaced decently, the lighting is calm, and it doesn't carry the noisy, chaotic vibe of larger chain bistros. 4. Staff Demeanor & Service: 10/10 The service is steady, polite, and attentive without hovering. From the greeting at the door to the handoff of the check, the staff operates with quiet respect. Water glasses stay filled, orders are taken accurately, and you never feel neglected or rushed out of your seat. Good people doing good work. 5. Order Flow & Kitchen Pacing: 9.5/10 The timing between courses is dialed in. Appetizers arrive promptly, and the entrees hit the table fresh and piping hot right as you're ready for them. Even during prime evening dinner hours, the kitchen maintains its rhythm without bottlenecking orders or sending out lukewarm food. 6. Parking & Village Access: 8.5/10 Located right on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon Village. As with any prime village spot, you might score street parking right outside, or you might need to tuck into one of the municipal lots a short block over. It's an easy, reliable walk either way and a non-issue if you're used to village life. PROS & CONS * + Top-tier General Tso's chicken: crispy, excellent sauce balance, and real quality meat. * + Impeccable sushi freshness and meticulous presentation on every order. * + Attentive, respectful waitstaff that values steady service. * + Clean, comfortable, and quiet village dining atmosphere. * - Weekend peak dinner hours can make street parking directly out front tight. THE VERDICT: 5.0 / 5.0 A standout Babylon staple that delivers excellence on both sides of the menu. Whether you're sitting down for impeccably fresh sushi or putting in an order for honest, perfectly executed kitchen staples like General Tso's, Masa delivers without compromise. A dependable, five-star dinner every time we walk through the door.

The Thai curry soup lacked flavor. It wasn't spicy tasting but you could some red oil in it. There…read morewere hardly any glass noodles and just 3 pieces of chicken. The mushroom was sliced so thin it disappeared. The basil leaves were the best part. The Babylon burrito is a cute idea. It looks huge but tastes light. It was hard to distinguish the individual ingredients inside of it. If there was any lobster salad in it I couldn't tell. There are better sushi restaurants around.

ARRIVAL: -Got to-go orders from here twice in the same week during my lunch break around 3pm. -It was largely empty, there were maybe 2 other people there. -It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was one of the closest places to my work and I thought the menu looked good so I gave it a shot and am glad I did. FOOD/DRINK: -I had the Blackjack Chicken Poboy and the Bogey chicken sandwich. -Both sandwiches were great. Chicken was expertly prepared: not too dry, not too charred (on the blackjack sandwich), not greasy from being fried (on the bogey sandwich), delicious seasoning. -All the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, including the seeded rolls. More than that, all the ingredients worked really well together. The sauce on each sandwich complimented each preparation of chicken perfectly. The lettuce and tomato were not thrown on incidentally either (as they often are with sandwiches). They rounded out the flavors and textures in a way where the sandwich would not have been nearly as good without them. -I was tempted to get the fries, but I thought the sandwiches were an ideal lunch option on their own: filling, fair portions, great price for the quality, not too heavy, and delicious. SERVICE: -At both visits, there was a friendly man behind the bar that took my order and promptly brought me my food when it was ready. ATMOSPHERE/LAYOUT: -The vibe is of a laid-back sports bar combined with a diner. There is tons of vintage sports memorabilia on the walls and a large tv behind the bar. There are more tables and booths than bar space or high tops, which is what makes it feel a bit more like a diner.

54 minutes ago New…read more Started going here 25 years ago it used to be goo. Not anymore. Had such a bad experience there, I went to do a review. Guess what? I did a review of their horrible service 3 years ago. Some things dont change. So I deleted that so I could vent once again. (Only 1 review per person apparently) I purchased a 20 dollar lomein to go this warm evening. while I was waiting for it, the never smiling lady, Joanne, was at the front wait area. I asked her for a glass of water while I waited. She said you need to pay. I chuckled, she did not. I said, no not a bottle, from the gun as i pointed to the water soda gun. She said yes I know you need to pay! THIS PLACE SUCKS. She then said next time you pay and handed me a glass 1/3 filled with no ice. Mind you, it is all right in front of her, glasses ice soda and beer. I said no thanks, keep it. I got my overpriced greasy lomein and went home. I paid 7 dollars for extra beef because mushroom is historically miserly with protein.. It had 9, 1/8 inch by 1.5 inch pieces of beef in it. The noodle were mushy and it was loaded with grease. I only go there because they are the only local place open after 9. Go to Hong Kong chinese food in the same parking lot for takeout. Their pieces of protein are mush larger and you do not need to order extra, but they close at 9 Hong Kong is also 50% less than Mushroom and they smile. Mushroom is supposed to be the upscale place. Gag me. Picture below is entire order of beef lomein with extra beef 54 minutes ago
