Admittedly, Sopah was the Plan B to my Plan A that fell through so I wasn't overly excited about eating here but willing to give it an honest shot. I ordered their "Thai Wings" and Beef Drunken Noodle. I'll start with the Drunken Noodles. This was very good. Saucy, chewy, good bits of tender beef and vegetable mixed in. Can't complain about that. I can complain a little bit about their "Thai Wings". Per their menu these are "marinated in our thai chili spices". Look, I love fried chicken but I was not really buying into their description of them while eating them. I'm quite unsure if they're even made in house? They taste very similar to bodega hot food wings. These weren't exactly cheap either and there weren't many included. The house sauce is also just sweet thai chili sauce so yeah these were a total bummer. I'm sure their other offerings are great and I do recommend their drunken noodles, heavy pass on the wings though. read more

We did Uber eats delivery to our hotel. The food was fantastic and served hot! Chicken satay was juicy, super fresh and flavorful. Spring Rolls, crunchy, nice spice to the chili sauce. Sticky rice, perfect. Shrimp Pad See-eww was fresh and delicious. Massamaan curry was great and they held the avocado as asked. Delish and served with utensils as needed at a hotel. I ate inside here with a friend for the first time a couple days ago. The restaurant is very small and parking is limited. I got a Thai iced tea and the chicken drunken noodles. Everything tasted amazing. My friend got the chicken pad see ew and said it was delicious. The food came out very very fast and our waitress was very attentive. The only reason I am not giving it all 5 stars is the ambiance. My friend and I were the only people inside the restaurant and it was silent inside. This place has become my favorite Thai restaurant on Long Island ever since I started coming here over 3 years ago. Their lunch special is great and all their dishes are delicious! I really like their drunken noodles with beef, shrimp pad Thai, massaman curry with chicken, Thai fried rice and not to mention, they make the best mango sticky rice dessert. The food is consistently good, staff are super nice, prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Either for takeout or dining in, I never had a bad experience here. Delicious every time, and always ready super fast! I get a side of steamed rice noodles to add to my Tom Kha soup. The flat rice noodle dishes are generous and cooked just right- never too soggy. The emerald veggie dumplings are great to share. The spring rolls are never greasy. This is one of my favorites. read more

The flavors here are absolutely delicious, and I'm taking off one star simply because the portion size is smaller than other Thai restaurant while the prices are comparable to the other restaurants with larger portion sizes. I'd still be back though because they do a great job with flavor. We got the Sopah fried rice, mixed seafood pad thai, one of the soups (can't remember which one unfortunately), duck salad (highly recommend), and 2 fried ice creams (also highly recommend, the dough was fresh and nicely fried). Street parking is available outside and around the restaurant. Service was also good and quite prompt, our waiter was attentive. The restaurant is small and only has about 6 tables, but there didn't seem to be a problem with not having enough seats because the restaurant gets a lot of its business through take out orders. Overall would recommend coming here, just order a couple extra dishes if you want to be full. read more

Really enjoyed this restaurant last Friday with my family. BYOB and authentic Thai food! My kids had the pad see ewe beef - nicely done, noodles separate (not clumpy) with a slightly sweet soy sauce. I had the pad Thai with pork, which was perfectly executed. My husband had the massaman curry, which he noted was solid. We also shared the Thai chicken wings, which were nicely crisp and served with a sweet and sour sauce. We will definitely return to try the Pad Prik Khing (my favorite Thai dish)! read more

Been eating here for years. Has gone down hill significantly recently. Food tastes good but inside the restaurant smell worse every time I go. Tonight while picking up my food I had to do a u turn to park and saw multiple giant rats in the back parking lot. Also saw a rat trap on the brick wall right outside their kitchen door. Grossed out. Just wanted to update my experience here at Sopah. I avoided it for a long while after an underwhelming visit, but decided to stop back in and try it again... I ordered a little more basic stuff, and had a much better meal. Tom Kha soup was great, Sopah roll was great, Satay was tasty and a good portion, and the pineapple fried rice was solid. The people were really nice too. Still no beer or wine, so if you want it, BYO. Overall, i enjoyed it and I will definitely return. read more

The owners seem very nice and the shrimp soup had three big shrimp in it, but it was too sweet and not spicy enough. The duck rolls were bland; here, it could have used a little hoisin sauce to sweeten it. The Yum Nur wax the worst I've ever had. Beef was tough, flavorless; they used virtually no chilis and were very light on the lime juice and fish sauce, the three ingredients that give Yum Nur its flavor. Hopefully it was an off night. Sopah has been my go to place for so long now, which is why i hate knowing that i can probably never go back. I always order their pad see ew and it's one of my favorite foods ever. The thai iced tea is excellent too. My only complaint with their food is sometimes it tastes bad, it's very hit or miss. It's either amazing or it tastes like it's been left out for three days to the point where i can't make myself eat it. The main reason I'm leaving this review though is because of what I witnessed last week. I had just gone into the store to pick up and pay for my food and was in my car which I had parked at the laundromat's lot nearby. As I was driving down the street to leave, a MASSIVE rat ran directly in front of my car and into the side door of Sopah which i believe is just wood and mesh (and is typically wide open.) This was the biggest rat I had ever seen in my life, I am by no means picky or a germaphobe but witnessing that was the breaking point. I am devastated as the employees have always been so kind to me and Sopah has always been my favorite restaurant. I just don't feel comfortable ordering from there again. I hope they are able to improve because I'd be willing to go back if I knew that their rat problem was under control and their food wasn't so hit-or-miss anymore. read more

I had a food delivery from Sopah Thai Kitchen on what I considered would be a busy night. The food arrived within less than 30 minutes as promised. The Thai soup with Shrimp and Coconut was so delicious, I was upset I could not have seconds or thirds. The entree of Beef Curry was also wonderful.
