Pad Thai with Chicken
Cyrus A.

Thai Thai Villa -- if the name doesn't give it away, you'll know it's Thai when you see pho on their menus (what?). But seriously, it was a decent spot. The highlight, by far, was the curry. So full of flavor, fresh veggies, and no shortage of lean slices of chicken. It was delicious. However, the edamame was slightly undercooked, and the pad thai left a lot to be desired. It was somewhat bland, and the rice noodles tasted almost mealy, maybe from too much oil. Stick with a curry dish when you go, but either way it's certainty not a bad spot for some thai (and pho?)!

My fiance and I came here because of the reviews and are happy to say that it was amazing!!! We got the Duck Roti and Garlic Edamame for appetizers. The garlic edamame alone is worth coming back for. The flavor was so good. I could lick the bowl haha For our mains, we got the Shrimp Pad Kee Mao and Chicken Massaman Curry. Both dishes were so good and the flavors were great. There was more of a kick in the noodles than the curry but overall, good spice levels! Service was also excellent :)

Pineapple fried rice

Certainly a cozy little spot and very busy on a Saturday night. Even for takeout. Finding parking nearby was tedious but in time a spot opened up. The menu is relatively standard except for the seafood option for most dishes. While the menu is standard the flavors are not. Ordered red curry, drunken noodles and pineapple rice. Curry with chicken, pineapple rice with shrimp and drunken noodles with seafood. The seafood was surprising, shrimp, scallops, calamari and even mussels out of the shells. The vegetables in the dishes were crunchy and vibrant in color, expected sort of soft but was very pleasantly surprised. They ask you what heat level you want. Got 3 on all the dishes. That's 3 out of 5. Rice and noodles were very pleasantly spiced. The red curry was fiery and delicious. Next time getting that level 5. Curious to see just how hot they can make it! This is an excellent spot for lunch or dinner.

My wife and I were just in the neighborhood and she wants Thai. The food were actually better than I expected since we tried many Thai place before.

This is a nice cozy place great for taking a date. Owners are very nice. We do take out. I had the Drunken noodles lunch special $12 comes with spring roll and salad. They have heat from 1 to 5. My son would get heat number 5. Looks like hes not getting the heat 5 anymore just 2. I would get there Tum Kha soup with shrimp comes with only 3 Shrimp $7 yummy. Thai Green Leaf on Jericho Tpke in Northport has 4 shrimp for $5.50 You can get choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Vegetable or Tofu. The food is better here. Sorry I'm a little spoiled anybody remember Saigon Grill in Manhattan Upper West side. They have since closed. So living in Suffering County this is the goto place.

Pad see ew with pork

Had a really yummy dinner here. Staff was super nice and the restaurant was clean and steadily busy. We started off with matcha iced teas which were very good (unsweetened). For appetizer we had the duck roti which was really tasty---Duck was tender and the sauce with the roti was a really good combo. The Tom yum soup with chicken was legit the best Tom yum soup I've ever had. It was spicy and had so much flavor, and I can't wait to have it again. For dinner I saw pork pad see ew and my friend had the pineapple special. The pad see ew was delicious and my friend enjoyed her pineapple special. I had some and it was very spicy (but she requested it like that). The price was also SUPER reasonable, I think $66 or something before tip! I took beef pho home for the hubby and he also enjoyed it very much. Can't wait to come back!!

Shrimp scallop pot - love this dish!

I'm not a big fan of Thai food but my husband had been wanting some Thai. I found this gem on yelp and decided to try it. Just WOW! We love the food here and in fact we went three times in a week! I've tried so many dishes that normally I wouldn't try and have enjoyed every single dish! Service is amazing! Staff are incredibly kind! It's also a BYOB which is nice and no cork fee either another big plus considering their in the heart of Huntington. My husband said this is one of the best Thai places he's ever been to. Definitely give this gem a try!

Not the best Thai I've ever had. The soup was very bland and the tofu was not fried. Just raw hunks in the soup, so the texture wasn't all that great. It was very creamy and didn't have that brightness that is usually characteristic of thai cuisine. The chicken pad Thai wasn't very good. We had spring rolls as an app and they were the best part of the meal, well friend-nice and crispy!

Overall a solid Thai place on Long Island, although may be best suited for takeout. Food: 4/5 had a decent pad kea mao with mock duck, but have had better. Would be a solid option for takeout though. Drinks: n/a although they have Thai iced tea, hot tea, and have a BYOB policy Ambience: 3/5 it's homey but not the most aesthetically pleasing space. Service: 4/5 it was quite busy when we were dining, so service wasn't the quickest

You will always find a server with a big smile on their face. For the love of God, please get the crab ragoon and sticky rice. If I die and go to heaven, I know that those two will be waiting for me at the gates. I also really love the massaman curry -- nutty, aromatic, and flavorful. Note that the place is small so don't bring your mother, and your mothers mother, and a mariachi band. I kind of love how it is quaint though, it's not too loud and overwhelming.

We were all women and luckily able to squeeze into a table for 4 in the alcove area. Like I said, it was a bit busy so service was slow. I had to ask the waiter to come and take our order and even then it took a bit for our order to come out. As we were there for a group lunch, the wait didn't bother us too much. We all opted for the lunch special which is a decent deal, $15 for an app and entree. I got the ginger salad and the drunken noodles with chicken. The salad was tasty but overdressed, I wished I had asked for the dressing on the side. The drunken noodles were not too spicy and a bit too sweet for my taste. I feel they used the same sauce as the pad see ew and added a little spice to make it the drunken noodle. We also ordered the mango sticky rice. They only had one left so we shared it amongst the 5 of us. We were taken aback by the green color of the rice but the color didn't add any strange flavor. Would i return? Based on the dishes I had I don't know. It's a cute place and a good lunch deal so maybe, but I will definitely try other dishes, maybe one of the curries?

The orange dragon roll wasn't great but nothing to really complain about just subpar. the jazz roll on the other hand, was inedible. I had to spit it out. I could tell from first looks that something was off. the spicy tuna on top looked nothing like the photo, it was gray and brown in color. The roll that has shrimp tempura didn't have any ends/tails on it and tasted like it it could've been cooked days/weeks ago, tasted like the inside of a fridge. Everything was extremely fishy and old. I called up to let the Owner know, but he didn't seem to care or worry about the food safety. Do not recommend. Edit to respond to owner: I want to note that the tone of your response here is very different from how the conversation went on the phone. It feels like you're trying to present things more carefully now, which was not my experience during our call. After speaking with you on the phone, I did not feel that my concerns about the fish were taken seriously. I eat sushi 2-3 times a week, and I have never encountered fish with that kind of taste before. Additionally, the shrimp tempura did not seem fresh - it was soggy and had an off taste, almost like it had been sitting in a refrigerator. When food is bad enough that someone has to spit it out, that's a clear sign it isn't fresh.

My son recommended Umami as one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in Huntington. I ordered…read morethe sashimi deluxe and found it very good. Service was good and I would certainly return.

Bravo! Bravo! Absolutely outstanding Thai food at great prices and a great location close to me…read more Everything on go. I ordered the chicken pad see ew, beef red curry, chicken satay, and basil chicken. Tried to hit every meat group. Next time gotta try the fish The Chicken Pad See Ew was a standout. Wide rice noodles with that perfect chewy texture and beautiful wok hei char. The savory-sweet soy-based sauce coated everything perfectly, and the mix of tender chicken and juicy pieces made it incredibly satisfying. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The chicken was tender with great texture, and it paired amazingly with jasmine rice. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous too -- we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. As my son would say "10 out of 10!" but since we are on yelp, we'll have to settle with a 5. Give this place a try.

They are mostly named after rock bands and music. It is actually really cute. Also the menu is different altogether. You can get a rainbow cookie egg roll, I didn't even know they couldn't make that. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and it was pretty good just a little dry. But they do have a lot of vegetables in there. I also ordered the wings and rice combo. I thought the wings would have sauce on them or to dip in. I didn't have that. But by themselves, the wings were really good. I would go back just for the wings.

Pretty decent food here. First time ordering, I ordered off DoorDash. Lemme just start by saying…read morethey don't have their full menu on DoorDash. But still enough to gain a grasp of what this place entails. I was leaning towards 3.3/3.4 so I rounded down to 3 stars so they understand how to change things up. I got the pulled pork egg roll. The first bite was great. Not nearly enough pulled pork in it, so I'd skip this. It came with a teriyaki sauce which was great. I built my own box with beef, shrimp, egg noodles, shiitake mushrooms and jalapeños. I added their 2 spiciest sauces. 1: the spice wasn't too spicy until I added my own sriracha and scorpion Tabasco. 2: the portion size was OK. Mind you I spent $30 on this DoorDash order for 2 things. Price isn't worth what you're getting. Some of the beef was extremely tender and delicious, some pieces were chewy. Adding the shrimp was ehhh, I guess okay. Baby shrimp, maybe like 4-5 pieces? Coulda been cooked better, noodles were great and their sauces gave it a lot of flavor. Not nearly enough mushrooms or jalapeños. I'd like to see more of the regular items on DoorDash. But tbh, for the price? I can go to the Chinese joint across the street from my house and get beef and shrimp lo mein for $10 lol. Nothing to rave home about, all bark no bite. More of a gimmick spot. I will say the service when I called was friendly. I spoke to a dude named gio, I asked him for extra portions due to my first time trying, he said "all portions are standard and pretty big" turns out the meat portion was a lie lol but it's cool. Idk if I'll try it again, certainly not for the price through DOORDASH at least. But I hope they take the feedback they're getting and vastly improve. Deff has potential, but they just try and promote that they got into Citifield as a food vendor, and took that success and ran with it. Real foodies will know once they try the spot. I think I'll have to go here in person and try it out fresh and then give it a fair review. Once again this review is based off a DoorDash order.
