I was running a little late to pick up my order and they called me to confirm my order. I ordered a full tray of beef drunken noodle ($75.70) and an order of 6 mini spring rolls ($7.95). Drunken noodle is spicy stir-fried broad rice noodle with basil, onion and bell peppers. It's delicious and packed with flavor! The mini spring rolls were crispy. I walked into Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant to pickup my order and it was right on the counter. It was quite busy inside too. All my friends really enjoyed the beef drunken noodle. It was still really hot too. They packed it in an aluminum tray with aluminum foil on top. I highly recommended Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant.

Look, I love fried chicken but I was not really buying into their description of them while eating them. I'm quite unsure if they're even made in house? They taste very similar to bodega hot food wings. These weren't exactly cheap either and there weren't many included. The house sauce is also just sweet thai chili sauce so yeah these were a total bummer. You chose an appetizer or soup from the list and then your entree with choice of protein. My mom opted for this option. She got spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. She really enjoyed it, and the serving was plentiful. I ordered off the regular menu and I had chicken satay and a side of broccoli. The chicken satay was delish! It had a lot of flavor. Their name also began with an S and ended with an A so that didn't help the mixup... but in any case, they asked for us to bring the food back (ok fine?). Once you leave a restaurant with food you cannot just return it and SWAP IT with another customer who is also returning food. They saw a young person and decided she must be dumb... and they actually asked if she would WAIT FOR THE OTHER CUSTOMERS TO BRING THE PROPER ORDER BACK SO THAT SHE COULD SWAP IT WITH THEM?! This is so gross, I can't even imagine what their other hygiene practices are like. I hope they get a visit from Health inspectors after this. My daughter asked for a refund after driving all the way back to the restaurant in the rain, waiting, and THEN they finally decided they would offer her a new order. At that point (she had been texting me) I told her I didn't want their food and to please ask again for a refund of our order. I mean, we had to return it all in a TRADER JOE'S bag, legitimately. That's how close we had gotten to the food. And they wanted us to swap with the other customer who was also returning our proper order?! VILE!!!!!! Absolutely beyond vile. I finally called myself, asking for a refund as my daughter said they were giving her a hard time about it. The manager or owner then used this as an excuse to be rude to my daughter, claiming that I was rude on the phone. Firm, yes. Rude? Absolutely not. I did not want food from the restaurant at this point, period! A refund was all I would accept and refusing to give one when my daughter requested was unreal. I asked her to please let my daughter leave and to please process the refund... which I was fully within my rights to do! To use that as an excuse to be vicious to my child is wildly unacceptable. My daughter left Sawasdee with no food, no receipt of refund, and ended up getting us pizza. As of this writing I have not received a refund. Absolutely horrible experience. Never again.
