One of our favorite Thai spots! We use to eat at its other location before it moved. The Golden Bag is our go to for apps. It's always delicious and well made. The calamari is another favorite but nothing beats the Roti and Massaman Curry. Absolutely delicious! For entrees, you can't go wrong with their Drunken Noodles or their curries. I had one of their pork dishes, which was really tasty and quite filling. It was quiet when we visited but got a bit busy around lunch. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. My dad treated us to lunch last weekend at one of the long standing Thai restaurants in Long Island. I heard through the grapevine that this restaurant has been around since the 80s or early 90s and went through 4 different owners/partners. The ambiance is pretty cute and personally the highlight of the dining experience was their beef dishes. My dad did the ordering so we had the Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee. We started with roti canai and chicken massamun curry. The curry was on the sweet side but it hit the spot. Then we got the beef Satay and the beef salad which was very good as the beef for both dishes were tender. We ordered the chicken pad thai and that was very good. read more

My partner and I frequented this restaurant when it was at its Hicksville location. When we were informed that they were closing, we were quite disappointed. We were thrilled to see it open again in Port Washington (which is more convenient for us) and pleased to find that the food and level of service was unchanged. This is authentic Thai cuisine, and they will make it extra spicy if you like. The owner is very personable and the staff is excellent. This is the only Thai restaurant we will dine. read more

The golden bags were served still frozen on the inside. Not a good way to start out your starter. The waitress quickly whisked them away and eventually I received them fully cooked and piping hot. My entree, chicken Malay tasted good. Service was quick and friendly. I liked the decor. I may try the food again someday. read more

I ordered takeout today and saw the reviews and figured I would give it a shot. I love Thai food and my girlfriend is celiac so figured we would pick it up for dinner tonight. I got the Pad See Yue and my girlfriend got the gluten free pad Thai. Both of our dishes had basically no sauce and was very dry and had very little flavor along with the egg just thrown on top as one mound vs chopped up in the dish. My pad see yue had a burnt taste and the pad tai had huge chucks of peanuts and carrots. read more

Chada was an excellent dining experience! We came early on a Saturday for lunch with a group of 6 and we were seated quickly. The decor is beautiful, clean and modern with a nice mix of authentic Thai pieces. We ordered some items that aren't always found in other local Thai spots, and everything was delicious. The tamarind shrimp and pineapple duck were standouts. The drinks are so good and refreshing. We were stuffed and satisfied. We will definitely be returning! read more

Tried the new Thai spot and it was delicious! Reminded me of Thai food I get in Queens. Delicious food, they redecorated beautifully and prices are very reasonable! We loved our Sunday lunch at Chada. The restaurant had a charming decor. The service was warm, professional and very attentive. Just came home from Chada Thai Bistro. Food was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is nice. We were 4 and had Mee Krob, Thai Dumplings, Soft Shell Crab appetizer, tamarind Duck, Shrimp Pad Thai and Pork with Basil Sauce. Everything was beautifully presented, large portions and extremely flavorful. They are waiting for their liquor license, so BYOB for right now. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
