Had a late night craving for curry samosas and Thai iced tea after the gym. Called in 20 minutes before closing and they were ready in 10. The curry puffs are so delicious with the right amount of spice and the sauce was sweet in the best way. The Thai iced tea is great, not too sweet, just right! The interior design is beautiful, bright yellow table cloths and high resolution photography of Thai culture all around. The staff was very kind. I look forward to visiting again and dining in next time.

I hate to be critical but I must and it's partially my fault. I should've seen all the signs upon sitting down in an empty restaurant at 5:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. I immediately had to use the wash room and the hallway floor to the bathroom is so greasy I almost fell. Secondly the bathroom is so dimly lit. You can't see within your own reach, perhaps invest in a lightbulb and lastly, the owner of the restaurant is standing by the kitchen entrance, which is a shared hallway into the bathroom, with a fly swatter, swatting at flies. Now onto the food! Let me start it's more Chinese on the menu than Thai. Our two entrees, first garlic chicken is really stir fried chicken with a bowl of rice and second entree is drunken noodle but its just ordinary beef cheung fun. Our spring roll appetizer was so unappealing, they're simply put onto an oversized plate which immediately turn my appetite away. Lemon Leaf is really chinese food disguised as Thai dishes. Both dishes bland and my drunken noodle was more sweet than spicy as advertised. The Zagat survey on the wall may have been true in 2009 but still hanging on the wall 14 years later doesn't represent the true taste and quality of a restaurant. Bottom line is I'm willing to give any restaurant a fair chance however, I doubt there will be a second visit. There are several authentic Thai restaurants around the area and much better overall experience for same cost.

Jumbo prawns in coconut batter (white sauce) with mango over fried white noodles and some tomato and broccoli

Small restaurant on Mineola Blvd with even smaller parking space behind it, but we found a spot on the street the last time we were here. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Food was okay. Out of the entrees the four of us ordered, there was only one worthy of notice and praise (see photo below): Jumbo prawns in coconut batter (white sauce) with mango over fried white noodles and some tomato and broccoli. And kudos on the deep-fried coconut shrimp appetizer. It wasn't crowded upon our 6:30 arrival on Saturday night, and they seemed to have a brisker take-out business than in restaurant dining. One of us ordered a lychee martini and was very disappointed. We only saw one waitress. She brought out our dishes whenever they were ready, which for one of us meant that a hot entree was delivered while we we're having salads and appetizers. We liked it more the first time (a few years ago).

Ambience was pretty plain and my trails were dirty. The Thai tea was good. The egg rolls were greasy and the sauce was too thin. The curry was pretty good but didn't have a lot of flavor or heat to it. The waitress was very slow and never checked on us even though there was only one other table in the restaurant.

    Drunken Noodles with Beef.

When you order Drunken Noodles at any Thai spot, you can EXPECT it to have some level of spice/heat. There was no spice in this at all, let alone any flavor. The noodles were dry and the overall taste was Bland. The texture of the beef was also mushy and questionable... Only thing good about this was the portion size. Drunken Noodles are always my safe order at any Thai restaurant, but unfortunately, this was the worst yet.

Panang curry with chicken, pad Thai with shrimp, Mongolian beef, drunken noodle with beef and teriyaki chicken

First time trying this place via Uber Eats delivery and had a good experience. The food arrived in 40 minutes after placing my order (I live 15 minutes away) and everything was still hot. The portions were bigger than expected, I ordered 5 entrees thinking they were going to be small and it was more than enough for the 4 of us. I ate my drunken noodle with beef as well as half the panang curry with chicken over rice, both were really tasty and flavorful. Everyone devoured the Mongolian beef so I'm guessing that was good too. The pad Thai was decent with a good amount of shrimp and I do not recommend the teriyaki chicken (Thai style), the sauce weren't our cup of tea and there was too many vegetables in this dish. None of the dishes were spicy, which was odd since Thai food is usually spicy or has a kick to them but nonetheless, I enjoyed it and would definitely order from here again.

The service and food is excellent here. Was there for lunch and many of the meals Ade between $10 and $12. The Curry Pineapple Shrimp was awesome. The ambiance was great

    Seafood soup

I ordered take out. Good portion size but I think they cook everything with peanuts. My spicy basil fried fried was sweet. The sweet flavor was very overpowering. My shrimp dumplings has peanuts shavings on top of it, which was fine because the dumplings taste bland. My seafood soup was just 2 pieces of shrimp and I think maybe pieces of fish? Eh. I wouldn't order here again.

The food is mediocre Thai food. The flavor of pad thai seems like it's missing something. Okay food, fine in a pinch.

THIS IS NOW MY ONLY SPOT FOR CHINESE FOOD. IT'S PERFECT. THANK YOU: LISA New Hing Hing Kitchen 90 Jericho Tpke, Ste 11, Mineola, NY 11501 (516) 747-5386 My goodness, what an absolutely phenomenal experience! I'm still reeling from the sheer deliciousness and incredible service! This isn't just a review; it's a declaration of love for your establishment, plastered across TikTok, Instagram, Google, Yelp, and even a couple of emails directly to your website! And can we talk about Lisa? Lisa is a true gem! Her warmth, politeness, infectious personality, friendliness, and constant smile are simply beyond amazing. She's an absolute star! This was my very first time ordering from you, and let me tell you, I was not just satisfied, I was utterly blown away! My lunch special for just $9.95 is an absolute steal! You get generous options like rice and three kinds of soup, and not those tiny thimble-sized containers either - these are large, hearty portions! Plus, the choice of soup or a soda? My greedy self, of course, dove straight for the soup! Then there was the delivery! The wonderful delivery lady was just as fantastic - super nice, incredibly patient, so pleasant, and had the most radiant smile! She was truly cool! Being in a wheelchair, it meant the world when she actually brought my order right into my home. Such thoughtfulness and kindness deserve more than thanks, so a 20% tip was absolutely given! Now, let's get to the main event: the food! First up, my glorious trio: 3 pieces of fried chicken wings, pork fried rice, and Hot & Sour soup. The fried chicken? Oh my heavens! Fresh, piping hot, perfectly crispy, wonderfully moist, and undeniably delicious! And the pork fried rice? I seriously wanted an entire mountain of it! Every grain was a delight! The veggies were clearly fresh, hand-cut, and chunky in the best possible way. Perfection in every single bite! Next, the Beef and Mixed Veggies, accompanied by the delightful egg drop soup. The portion size was fantastic! The beef was so tender yet firm, with a perfect texture and seasoned to absolute perfection. The mixed veggies were just like before: fresh, expertly hand-cut, and wonderfully chunky. The pork fried rice (yes, I need to gush again!) was seasoned impeccably, boasted a fantastic texture, and the pork itself was firm and moist. Every forkful was a symphony of flavors! PERFECTION, I tell you! I fully intend to feast on this for dinner, breakfast, and then lunch again! But let's be real, as soon as hunger strikes, I'll be rummaging through the fridge for more! FIVE BRIGHT SHINING STARS for Lisa, for the stellar customer service, for the incredible delivery lady (who I desperately wish I had gotten the name of! ), and for the lightning-fast delivery! This is officially, unequivocally, my one and only spot for Chinese food from now on! IT'S PERFECT! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU once again to Lisa and the amazing delivery team! We were traveling from out of town and meeting up with an old high school friend and Copperhill was the perfect place. They had a menu full of great selections ... from brunchy items to salads/sandwiches and great healthy selections too. Our server Cat D. also did a fine job of keeping us all very happy, she's a great server. I had the shrimp tacos which were very good. My husband and HS friend had the kale salad with a big piece of salmon on top. We all really enjoyed our meal and had plenty of time to catch up with each other. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with cool art and flowers/plant life. They did a great job with creating a cool vibe inside. It does get a little loud, so if you're looking for a quiet meal, brunch on a Sunday might not be the place. The restaurant gets pretty crowded.. and for a reason. Great service, food and ambiance can do that! I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.
