I had no idea Ginza moved from Massapequa a few years ago. The new space is modern, and upscale. It's kind of easy to miss since it's set back in a shopping center. But it has plenty of parking. We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy. We still got seated right away without a reservation, which was a nice surprise. The service was great. Super attentive and friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. If you're looking for great food, great service, and an upscale vibe, Ginza is definitely worth checking out!

Always a great time at Ginza. They have some of the freshest sushi and a great menu. They have a wide selection of sashimi and a significant amount of specialty rolls. We have tried most of them and enjoyed them all. The Kobe beef meatballs and tuna pizza are great starters. Their bar is very nice bar and they have a nice cocktail menu. Service is always very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend a reservation on the weekends, as it does get crowded.

I am beyond excited this is our local sushi spot. We recently bought a house near the area and we were recommended to go for a date night here. We absolutely love this place. It's our second time here and the service, ambiance and food is great! The two times we've been here we've been seated at the bar because it does get really busy so I do suggest reservations. I've yet to dive into the other options of entrees like their omakase; as per both times we've only ordered sushi. Dishes we would recommend- spicy salmon crispy sushi rice, crispy duck roll, flame thrower and the KB roll (highly recommend) . For dessert we did the fried ice cream. It's a staple to end it that way. Our cocktail orders were the lychee fig martini and the sweet revenge. Both were great !

Bon and I have craved going to Ginza in Levittown next time in the area..finally got there and had a phenomenal experience. We ordered so much you need to look at photo of bill! They so a fantastic job creating mouth watering sushi, sashimi and hot dishes. Ting, the manager helped guide us thru the event and he was appreciated! Listen to the reviews and try Gonza!!!

Came here with a friend for lunch-I must say, there are far too many businesses in this lot for the amount of parking spaces they have. I lucked out getting a spot but it was absolute chaos when we were leaving. Anyway, the place is beautiful and very clean! We made it just in time for the lunch special so we ordered quickly. We split the lobster taco special which came on the wonton chip type shells-omg they were phenomenal! Very small though so I def could have eaten all 4 myself. I went with the 3 roll lunch special as I wanted to try something new so I got the tuna avocado, spicy yellowtail and the sweet potato rolls which came with a salad. Everything tasted so fresh. I love the ginger dressing at Asian restaurants so I gobbled that all up. It was all very tasty and came out very quick. I took some of it to go and didn't check the dessert menu as we were both full. Prices were not bad!

This evening was my first encounter with Ginza of Levittown. I did an online order for pick up and it blew my mind! I am a Sushi snob and unfortunately, other local places started out decent but progressively went down hill with inferior product. Inferior sushi? Yes! Bad with me,membrane and chew which should not be in a place that advertises premium sushi. Ginza is the real deal premium sushi and I can't wait to go dine in there. They have a beautiful bar area that's very inviting and the place is methodically clean! I enjoyed my sashimi dinner which came with soup or salad and their goyza (dumplings) seem to be perfectly fried and then charred on the boq. I also had a blue fin toro hand roll which melted like butter in my mouth causing a real party. I found my new sushi and Japanese restaurant which was long past due as all other places within a 7 mile radius failed me. I will not mention the names of the inferior places as l feel in time they will deal with karma. If you have not been to Ginza get down there and enjoy their ultra fresh premium sushi & cusine!

What a delicious lunch! Ginza has been on my radar for a very long time. I was in the area and stopped in for a bite. I went with my mom and our cousin. Everything was delicious from start to finish. To start we shared chicken skewers that came with a peanut sauce. It was so delicious! The chicken was nicely grilled and the sauce was smooth and just perfect. For my lunch I chose the any 3 rolls lunch special. I had spicy tuna, spicy salmon and Alaskan roll. They were all delicious and sushi was very fresh! My mom had the lunch bento box a and chose chicken teriyaki. She really enjoyed. My cousin had the lunch bento box c. She was very happy with her choice. I was actually thinking of getting this, and I'm a little mad I didn't! But there's always next time. All lunch specials come with either soup or salad. I had soup and my mom and cousin had salad. All was good, but I wish my soup was a bit hotter. It was only lukewarm. Service was exceptional! Our waitress was phenomenal. I will definitely return.

Heard good things about this sushi spot on Facebook so of course had to try it out. Let's start with the options, a surprising menu containing combinations that I have not seen before. Prices are also above average but seem to be worth it. Ordered the maki combo, 2 regular rolls and one chefs special. Chef special got the angel roll. Regular was toro and oyster tempura. Yes you read that right, OYSTER tempura. I have never seen this on a menu before. Safe to say all rolls were on point in flavor. Though they did skimp out a bit on the soy sauce, little cups are only like 1/3 filled. (That's my only complaint) Walking in to pickup my order I was surprised by the lack of empty seats in the place. It was packed. Music was playing, people were chatting and eating. Bartender was mulling something in a glass. Staff were very friendly. My order was later than the estimate but once it was handed off to me I got a text message saying it's ready for pickup about 2 minutes later. Which is very good. I think it would absolutely be worth the sit down experience. For now takeout was delicious and the maki combo an excellent way to test the waters. The menu does offer many other options which have my mouth watering. I look forward to going back and trying all the goodies!

Came here for lunch after doing some door knocking and the restaurant looked super fancy and definitely was a beautiful ambiance. The service was great and the food was even better. My colleague and I had the 3 rolls lunch special and we enjoyed every bite of it! It was delicious and inexpensive. I would definitely come back again when I'm in the area!

I really want to give a 5 stars for this place but I cant. 2 stars for decent service and the rock shrimp was good. The missing 3 stars is from the hard sushi rice. We ordered the sushi & sashimi for 2 and the rice on the sushi was hard and dry. Not acceptable for a sushi restaurant.

Absolutely amazing food and service at Ginza I have been here several times every time I come it gets better and better I love the food and the people atmosphere everybody has to come and try. I wanted to add pictures but when the food came, I eat right away couldn't resist come one come all. So I couldn't resist, I had to order the dessert Special, fried Oreos and a homemade chocolate, ice cream with double espresso, and Tennessee legend salted caramel whiskey neat.

Newsday wrote about how this place was the first to fly in fresh fish from Japan so of course we had to try it. We walked in around 6 on a Friday without a reservation and were surprised to hear that there were no available tables. We're used to having to make reservations for other cuisines but never had to for Japanese. The hostess suggested the bar with the tv's or the sushi bar. We opted for the sushi bar and were sat in the corner across from Patrick the sushi master chef. We've only been at the sushi bar when doing omakase so this was a different experience. We watched Patrick's hands as they were in constant movement, never stopping as he sliced, formed and prepared the plating for the beautiful dishes. The raw fish was fresh, the cooked pieces were light and flavorful. Edamame is something you think should be so easy to get right but most places don't. It was thoroughly seasoned and clearly freshly prepared, not just heated up. The soft shell crab was piping hot, not greasy and had a little spicy kick from the wasabi aioli. I was so glad I got the chirashi. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the variety of fish (including sea bream) was plentiful and sizeable. It really let you enjoy the fish. While we sat there, Patrick prepared a shrimp dish that looked amazing. Once he told us it was flown in from Japan that morning, we had to try it. The color was vibrant and it was cooked perfectly, not rubbery as cooked shrimp could be. Ending this review with the drink I started the meal. I ordered the fig lychee martini. Often times restaurants do not have actual lychees with their martinis. I find it a necessity as I really enjoy the alcohol soaked lychees as I enjoy the martini. Being able to get extra was a bonus! Although it was not a cheap meal (mostly because we ordered too much), I want to make this a regular place for us, and definitely at the sushi bar!

Noodles on point, shrimp wonton soup excellent, and the shrimp with broccoli entree was pretty good too (albeit a little heavier than I anticipated). Our dissatisfaction came from the service. INCREDIBLY slow given the restaurant wasn't packed. It took an unacceptable amount of time from when we sat down to when our waiter even arrived, and even longer to get the complimentary noodles and tea. Even when we finally placed our order, it took over 30 minutes for a couple of appetizers and 4 entrees, one of which they got wrong... and what was probably most irritating is that the staff spent more time and attention cleaning a table that just finished eating, rather than attending to diners still in the restaurant. And it was after 8pm when they close at 9, it wasn't like another party was coming in for that table. I love this place man, but ya gotta be better.

When entering, on the right side there are lots of tables and booths surrounded by window cases full of pretty teapots. A clay warrior statue in the front and back stand guard. On the left side is a partially open kitchen and the takeout register. The extensive menu covers various basic Chinese and Japanese selections. We shared the shrimp and spinach wonton soup to start. The broth was wonton, the spinach wasn't as soft as expected due to its inclusion of the stems, and the shrimp was a negligible part of the dumpling it was wrapped in. My son enjoyed their chicken and broccoli as well as their steamed vegetable dumplings. My wife and I enjoyed their 6 steamed crystal shrimp dumplings appetizer. So far, so good, but the big disappointment came with the boneless ribs appetizer. The sauce was good, but the pork was barely edible because it tasted as if it had been pre-cooked, left to harden and dry, before being re-heated and served ... not fresh and way too chewy. I ordered it because another Yelper had recommended them, so maybe that dish isn't consistently what it should be? I had also been to Jani's about ten days earlier and it was much better. Me and the cousin I was with split the Lake Tung Ting Shrimp and Moo Shu Beef, so I can recommend both of those. On weekends, a reservation is a good idea.
