They seemed extremely understaffed with really 2 ppl busing the whole place on a week night. Besides the slower service, the food came out at a reason time and everything tasted quite fresh and with great flavor. We used our 25% coupon we got in the mail and plan on coming again! We ordered: Tiger Dragon king Lobster mango Tuna amazing Godzilla

I have been coming here for almost 20 years. With so many sushi places In the area you need to be good to last that long. Sushi is always tasty and presented well. Hot food is good too.

I love this place so much and am so grateful it's just down the road from my family's home. The vegetable sushi plate was incredibly varied, beautiful and delicious. I have honestly never seen Japanese pickled veggies and roasted squash so elegantly assembled. For the first time, it even quelled the jealousy I often feel now at sushi restaurants since I went vegan. Major feat considering sushi was my favorite food since age 14 and was the last animal product I gave up. We also enjoyed some steamed vegetable dumplings with a vinegar based sauce and my partner had a fried shrimp entree with chili and mango that came on a heaping pile of rice and steamed broccoli. I will definitely be back as often as I can!

Picked up quite a few rolls to go. We all split the rolls so I can't say for sure which rolls I had. A lot of them were very sweet, I prefer my sushi more on the savory side. The rolls were average size and tasted fresh, though. The platter was pretty large but they only included 4 chopsticks (there were 8 of us). I guess we could have told them, but still, they should have threw in a few more to play it safe.

Had the chicken combo with soy garlic sauce... it was ok. The batter was way too thick so needed so it was a bit disappointing but hopefully the formula has been adjusted since. Surprised it came with such a small amount of pickled radish. Had to ask for another. perhaps not a lot of people like picked radish...but we do. Restrooms in the back are gender neutral. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this is not just a farm stand -- it's a Long Island institution with heart, history, and soul. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, especially compared to the rush of everyday life. Whether you come on a quiet weekday or a busy weekend, there's something comforting about walking through the grounds, seeing families, kids, couples, and longtime locals all enjoying the space. It feels wholesome in the best possible way. The produce and baked goods are where Kerber's truly shines. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and seasonal. Their fruits and vegetables are vibrant and full of flavor, and the baked goods smell incredible the moment you walk inside. The pies are legendary for a reason -- flaky crusts, generous fillings, and that homemade taste that's hard to find these days. Apple pie, crumb pie, pumpkin pie -- you really can't go wrong. Their donuts and breads are also standouts, perfect with a cup of coffee. Speaking of food, the prepared items and snacks are another highlight. Kids love seeing the animals, parents appreciate the open space, and everyone seems to slow down just a little while they're there. It's a wonderful spot for a family outing, a relaxed afternoon stop, or even just a quick visit that turns into a longer stay because you don't want to leave. While I don't always expect an overly cheerful greeting, the service was very plain and lacked a smile. Even when I mentioned it was my first time, the staff seemed indifferent. I ordered an egg and cheddar cheese biscuit and a small coffee with sugar-free French vanilla and almond milk, which came to $15. I also picked up two mini pies for $14. The breakfast sandwich was okay, but for the price, I expected more cheese and a bit more flavor. However, the mini pastries were absolutely delicious! I would 100% come back just for those. The store itself was very clean.

I don't know if they weren't busy because it was a weekday and gloomy weather outside but our server was very friendly/sweet/welcoming and we were both happy with our meals and drinks! There is a small free parking lot behind the restaurant. I almost missed the entrance to the lot but it's literally right next to the restaurant, which is a small cute looking stand alone house. There were tables out front but the day we went it was a little chilly/rainy so we opted to sit inside. There were a few tables inside and even a small bar so we just sat in a booth. The overall decor inside was very cute! There's also a bathroom in the back. I ordered the Lunch Special: Pad See Ew with Shrimp and a Thai Iced Tea. I forgot what my friend ordered but she really liked it and said it had a home-cooked meal feel to it which was a positive thing. My food was also delicious though a bit on the smaller portion size and it came with a small salad (you can choose the salad or Tom Yum Soup) and a small spring roll. The Lunch Special Menu is only available Monday to Friday 11:30AM-3:00PM except holidays.
