Unfortunately, the person taking the order seemed to be the only one there, you could see her take the orders and then go back to the kitchen to cook all the food. Our order took quite a while to come out as there were also two large pick-up orders. For appetizer, we got the pork soup dumplings. They were not too thick and not overly spiced, though still very flavorful. Not bad. I had the mapo tofu for entree and my brother got the braised beef noodle with soup. The mapo tofu was a little different than ones I am used to, as it was very heavy on the hot oil, peppercorns and the Mala flavor. I still really enjoyed my dish. My brother's beef noodle was very nice, with tender pieces of beef and a rich hearty broth. Overall, I felt the set-up of the restaurant with the kiosks that we were discouraged from using for dine-in and the one person taking orders, making food, and serving for the whole restaurant was a little strange. I finally got to try Noodumpling with my friends and it was nice having something warm since it was gloomy and raining today! We ordered the signature braised beef noodle soup, plain noodle soup, tonkotsu ramen, and pan fried pork dumplings with hot tea. Their tea was very nice! I will say that I loved the signature braised beef noodle soup. The broth was nice, herby, clean. It was full of flavor and extremely filling. I did switch my noodles for the rice noodles and I'm glad I did because they were nice and chewy! It wasn't salty at all. My friend ordered the tonkotsu ramen and her broth was very nice. You can tell it's real bone broth and it was not only nutritious but rich in flavor. Despite the rich flavors, it was low in salt content. The plain noodle soup was nice as well but it was a bit on the saltier side for me. It was still nice but I would order with caution if you are hypertensive. As for the dumplings, they were nice but you're paying 4 for $8.95. I'm not sure if we would order this again. However, we're definitely getting the noodle soup and ramen! The restroom is very clean and the restaurant itself is clean. The girl working there serving food and handling orders is very clean. She wears gloves when handling food and serving customers. As far as service, ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms, I would give them 5 stars. Had the braised beef noodle soup, the sausages, and the french fries. I miraculously came across this place searching for another place a few minutes away from a Reddit thread. I saw they had shoestring fries, and after Houston's closed I've been craving them like mad. They did not disappoint! They comes with some kind of sauce already on there (teriyaki sauce or something vinegar-y) and cilantro which is an odd choice but it works. They're salted well and they taste great while still having that wonderful crunch only a very thin fry can have. The soup was fantastic. Slightly spicy like you'd like it but not overpowering, and the beef was incredibly tender, made enjoying it very easy. I did add an egg and I don't think J got it, but I'll deal. They changed my noodles to soba noodles and they were great! The sausage is a sausage, a bit sweet and interesti g but a normal asian sausage. There was no one eating here when we were there, which is sad, this place was fantastic and it really feels like a hidden gem. They were getting doordash orders pretty often, and they're definitely worth it. The employees were also both very nice, and took care of us well. The only complaint I can offer is that ordering through the tablets is a little more complicated that it should be, and in fact we missed out of some items that we had wanted to try out because they required additional scrolling on the screen that wasn't obvious. TL:DR - food was good, it just took them way too long to make it & bring them to our table. Came for early dinner on Columbus Day. There were 2 other parties when we got in. Once sat down, the server hands over an iPad to place your own order. Ordered 3 appetizers, 2 drinks, and 2 beef noodles. The first item came out was popcorn chicken, took about 15mins. Half of it was cold, like it was leftovers from the previous batch. 2nd & 3rd item was spicy pork wonton & pan fried pork dumplings, which took another 10 mins. Taste was good, although the dumpling sizes were on the small side. The noodles & drinks took another 10 - 15 mins to arrive together. One of the noodles' soup was noticeably colder, as if it has been sitting for a while. The beef was tender, tastes good, with a slight spiciness even though it was mild. The main issue was that they were not working efficiently, even with automated self service kiosks & iPads. From the order of the food coming out & the way they taste, either the cook took their sweet time, or having trouble cooking multiple noodles at the same time. We got out a little bit after 6pm. We came to this restaurant because of the good reviews on Google and its convenient location near the Asian supermarket. We sat down and placed our order within a couple of minutes. We ordered two dumpling dishes, scallion pancakes, one vegetable dish, two noodle dishes, and a couple of drinks. It took about 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive and half an hour for the vegetable dish to come out. I tasted the dish and the veggie was cold. I am pretty sure it was sitting there for a period of time in the kitchen. I asked multiple times when the rest of the food would be arriving, and each time the waitress said she would rush the kitchen. We saw people arriving after us getting their food. We saw take out orders were being prioritizing but the eat in orders were taking way too long. After 45 minutes, we still hadn't received the rest of our food, so we decided to leave and just paid for whatever had arrived. It was a terrible experience for us. If you spend over $30 in the restaurant, you can get a half-priced boba. Also, if you join their loyalty/rewards program, you can get 5% off your first meal. Not sure how long this deal will last. My sister got the signature braised beef noodle soup, which she enjoyed. The serving portions are pretty big where we both had leftovers. She loved the bok choy and the beef, but she wished that the soup had a bit more flavor to it. The scallion pancakes were perfectly crispy and warm.
