    Just a review on their soup dumplings. Ordered two orders of the crabmeat ones. That's twelve soup dumplings. All but one had any soup in them. Eleven dumplings ripped open and empty. $21 waisted.

    So delicious. Everything we ordered delivered on flavor. I will say that the spicy items truly are spicy so take caution if you can't handle it :) will definitely be back!

    A very good gem for Long Islanders! This place caters to the Americans and Chinese. Has the standard takeout menu along side some good hunan/Szechuan dishes. There's no servers. You pay at the counter, pick up at the counter and seat yourself and bring back your trays when you're done. Perfect for lunch and quick dinners. Place is clean and hygienic. Staff is very kind and accurate in their recommendations. Prices can be slightly higher but if you're from Long Island, I'd rather go here than to make the trek to flushing. A true gem for the island!

    Umm it's officially the best beef noodle soup on Long Island. Rich dark broth. This is the Taiwan style beef noodle soup. Like the color of molasses. I drank the whole damn thing. Noodles were not double cooked. I witnessed this through the glass spectating kitchen. None of that BS where your bowl is served in 2 minutes with reboiled boggy noodles. There was a nice chew to their noodles that confirmed this. Not house made or knife cut, but very adequate. Beef was sliced which is not my preference. I prefer the big chunks. However the slices were exquisitely tender and high quality. Delicious. Not overly seasoned. Balanced saltiness and preservation of flavor. Bonus tendon. You can get the 50/50 split of beef and tendon. This is considered a standard option by beef noodle soup snobbery expectations. However it's incredible how many places lack this option. For the palate adventurous, the tendon is rich and gelatinous, like soft marbled pork belly, except minus the LDLs. Enjoy it. Overall this place is a must for beef noodle soup lovers. For the small country of Taiwan, this is like our version of ramen. Must try this.

    Soooooo good!!! Highly recommend! It is comparable to the city Asian food. Not a regular Chinese restaurant. Similar to Chipotle style where you order and find a place to sit. When you are done, you should disposed of your trash. Simple, easy, fast. Will definitely come back again!

    I'm not even kidding when I say I've been waiting over a year for this place to open, so you could only imagine my excitement when I saw they were finally open. A noodle and Taiwanese house, it was refreshing to see the cooks and the whole operation were Asians. Call me what you want, but this is hard to find, so it was even more promising that the food would be as authentic as possible. And I wasn't wrong. I had the braised beef noodle soup, he had the beef stew over rice and we shared an order of pork soup dumplings. We were impressed and very surprised at how good the food was. The soup was very flavorful and you need to add their chili oil. A true chili oil that wasn't just greasy, but was full of flavor and spice. Needless to say, it kicked my butt. The beef was tender, a smidge on the dry side, but still delicious. The soup dumplings were great - skin not too thin or thick and the meat, flavorful. The soup was lacking, but overall it's great for the area. All in all, a welcome addition to the neighborhood. So far great food and good sized portions. I was hoping they'd have more Taiwanese choices, but they have your basic dishes and then some. They are quick to bring the food, friendly and helpful. One guy came out from the back just to ask what I needed as he saw me waiting in line after I got my food. The food is a bit on the pricier side, but I guess when you add in the frustration and gas money of going to Queens, it evens out. Just to note, this place is super casual. Pay at the register, collect your own utensils and sit and wait till they bring you your food. You have to bring your dishes to the front as well. Will definitely be back to try something else!

    I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. First off, this place is expensive. For example, a simple dish like sautéed bok choy costs $15 and sautéed bamboo snow pea leaves costs $20. Boggles my mind. Perhaps inflation?! I'm not sure. So needless to say we avoided this place simply because of price for the longest time but finally caved in today because we had guests come over to the house and they wanted to order from here. Fine. We wanted to try it for a while anyway so why not. We order the scallion pancakes, Shanghai wonton in red chili oil with peanut sauce, braised beef noodles in broth, fish fillets in wine sauce, sichuan spicy chicken, eggplant in garlic sauce, sautéed baby bok choy, sautéed string beans. - Scallion pancake: No comment since I didn't get to eat it. - Shanghai wonton in red chili oil with peanut sauce: I had high hopes for this one since I saw many good reviews about this. Very disappointing. The wonton itself was meh. Pork was not tender. And the sauce was just okay. - Braised beef noodles in broth: Another disappointment. When I saw that the beef is one of the wack sliced beef muscle thingies, I knew it could not be a good sign. Interesting when I look at yelps photos of this dish, it used to be actual chunks of beef. Guess times are hard and now they're cheaping out. Broth had no depth. Bland. Which is surprising because the broth is so dark that I thought for sure it'd be good. Nope. - Fish fillets in wine sauce: This is really tasty. And the portion size is nice. Lots of fish. The "wine" is Chinese cooking wine. Not sure why I assume it was white wine. Lol. My SIL thought the wine was too strong. I disagree. I did think it's a little on the salty side though but white rice really helps to balance out the salt. - Sichuan spicy chicken: It's okay. I've definitely had better. I usually order this dish whenever I go to a Sichuan restaurant as it is one of my favorites. - Eggplant in garlic sauce: Typical but delicious. Again a little salty but fine when eaten with rice. - Sautéed baby bok choy: Did not try this. - Sautéed string beans: Not sure why this had red peppers and mala peppercorns. I would not have thought that this is a spicy dish given the name. I really liked it though. Unfortunately most people whom I was eating with cannot tolerate spice so this was one less dish they could eat. Overall this restaurant has some pretty decent dishes. Some hits but also some major misses. I wouldn't exactly be running back given the prices, but may return eventually to give it another try considering the proximity to my home and lack of Asian restaurant choices.

    Tucked on the corner of the stip mall that houses the Jericho H-Mart, this place is probably the best place for Chinese noodle soup in the area. It's mostly take out but there's a small dining area as well. We stopped by to grab some noodles and were pretty happy with our meal. The beef noodle soup with tendon was very flavorful - noodles were cooked perfectly as was the beef but I have to gripe about the amount of meat - 2 slices aren't enough. The tomato egg noodle was also good as was their pan fried buns (skin was thin and meat filling well seasoned but a tad small). The pork belly in spicy garlic sauce was also tasty (albeit a small portion). Prices are decent but not Flushing/Bayside affordable, it is Nassau after all. Portion sizes are a bit small (other than the noodle bowls) but the toppings in the noodles bowls could use an upgrade. Overall a thumbs up if you're in the area and looking for a bowl of noodles to satiate your itch.

    Compare to a lot of Long Island asian restaurants it's definitely one of the better choices. Prices I would not agree upon but then again this is Long Island. Majority of the stuff we got got cold quick. But after reheating it wasn't too bad. Didn't taste much crab in their soup dumplings but was filling overall. If you're tired of hmart lunches. This spot is a good change! Their location is on the corner of hmart. It's slightly hidden bud you won't miss it!

It's puzzling how they rendered the grease. I grew up eating this dish and cook it too. This dish by far is the best I've had. Service is fantastic; helpful and attentive. This is our new favorite restaurant! Suggestion would be to eat at the restaurant for an incredible experience. Dishes came out is perfect order. It's been a while since we've experienced a classic Chinese restaurant.
