They are my office's favorite and my favorite Chinese place. They are so fast, fresh, fair with orders and tastes great!!!!! I also live nearby and order from them weekly!!! read more

Great no frills Chinese American Take Out. Satisfied the crave. Still haven't found a place that can make it like how my dad used to (RIP) I'm still searching and hoping to find it one day. There has to be a place that will double fry and have the sauce glazed on, but not congealed anywhere with the additional sauce going over the rice. Hopefully one day! But other than that, it hit the spot. read more

The food is always great and they care about the quality Hot and Sour soup is outstanding read more

This by far is my absolute FAVORITE SPOT to get Chinese food!! I will only come here for takeout. Everything here is so delicious!!

Tried this place a few months ago and it is a GEM to say the very least. I order the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young lunch special and it was absolutely AWESOME!! The dish tasted soooo very fresh and the gravy tasted nice a beefy and had a velvety mouth feel. The gravy actually made the whole dish outstanding - I am sure it would be great on anything especially rice or mashed potatoes. The wonton soup also tasted very fresh and absolutely melted in my mouth. This place is now our go to for ALL THINGS CHINESE FOOD!!!!! I loved this place sooo much I actually did a video review for my channel that I would love to share with everyone. Please click on the following to see my video review of the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young - Once you see this you will run right over to the Great Wok in Hicksville https://youtu.be/BXQ52-j07jU read more

The food is good and fresh. The staff is very nice and you don't have to wait long to pick up your food!!

This place has average Chinese fare. Nothing to write home about. It's location is difficult to get to. I probably won't return.

Best Chinese food ! The food is so fresh and made to order. Been ordering from here over 10 years. Recently moved and I still make the trip here to get my Chinese food. People are so friendly, good service. read more

Love the food here. Fresh, tasty. The customer service excellent. I've ordered a few times and it's always amazing.

Quick grab and go kind of place for me. Great lunch special deals and pickup is always ready within 10 mins. Ordered the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and Hot & sour soup. Well flavored. I added a little pepper to my soup for an extra kick. read more

The first time I ordered food from this restaurant, the food was bad. I ordered Spring roll with Shrip but it was filled with cabbage, and the wrap was burnt. I ordered Seafood delight, in the menu,it says Shrimp, lobster, scallops, crab meat, and Squid but there was no crab meat lobster or squid.. There was shrimp, artificial crab meat, and scallops. I called the restaurant,a lady who answered the phone was very rude, she said we only put artificial crab meat and we don't put squid.I said then why did you list all these items online. She hung up on me I will not order anything from this restaurant again read more

Moving into the area recently, this was the first place we tried and it was amazing! my fiance and I love their brown sauce and their fried rice. We're both vegetarians so I cannot speak on the meat but their vegetable dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. read more

Ordered delivery and the food arrived fresh and hot! The courier arrived quickly and was nice.

I read the reviews and gave the restaurant a try. Sadly disappointed. The ribs I know gave me an upset stomach'. The fried rice in combination platter was ok. The egg roll want good. read more

Very disappointed, ordered the chicken and shrimp combo, beef soup, pork dumplings, and baby pork dumplings in a hot sesame sauce. We had gotten the food delivered and the first thing we noticed was the baby dumplings. The sauce was not hot and tasted like peanut butter. My husband has a nut allergy and thank goodness he did not try it, god for bid it is. It had the worst taste possible. The chicken in the combo tasted rubbery and the vegetables were hard. The soup was not like the advertisement on Uber eats and the beef didn't seemed cooked, considering some pieces were red and others the way it should be. The only thing that wasn't bad was the pork dumplings, but we most definitely will not be ordering from here again. Extremely disappointed with the food, especially considering the 5 star rating. I wish I could give zero stars but am unable. read more

This is an excellent go-to place for Chinese food. There is variety on the menu and I like the protein heavy dishes with jasmine rice. The people who work here are polite and friendly and I find they do the classic dishes like General Tsao's Chicken well. 5 stars. read more

A very average strip mall Chinese take-out spot. Add on the lack of AC (sweltering in the summer) and the brazen phone demeanor (the mastery of English isn't quite there yet) and it makes this a skippable spot for me. As for the eats, the moo shu, egg rolls and steamed dishes are decent, egg drop soup is way below par and the general tso's is so darn average. I wouldn't say stay away, but if you have a local spot that serves you well, don't go trying this joint. You'll only be let down. read more

Great Wok Restaurant - Chinese Near Me - Hicksville, New York

It's actually really good from the dishes I've tried a few times. Lately all the other Chinese takeouts have been lacking a lot of flavor or something, it's just not that good but this place is still delicious. They have this eggplant dish that's so good read more

Have been going here for years and just yesterday we ordered from them and my husband found a huge piece of hair in his dinner combo. It was so disgusting. We don't even live locally anymore so we drove 20 mins to get the food because they've been amazing for so long. But last time after finding the hair, wish we took a photo to post but it was so disgusting he threw out the rest of his food. read more

I must say this Chinese restaurant or eat in is absolutely fabulous!!! During the quarantine I was so was so afraid to eat anywhere! But when I saw my favorite place open and they practice in PPE 100% I was so excited and knew that they were safe! Ever since then I walk in and they are still 100% safe and practice in wearing their PPE masks, all the cooks are cooking wearing their MADKS, AND THE FOOD IS "EXCELLENT"! so thank you again for a fabulous meal at the GREAT WOK OF HICKSVILLE. read more

Ordered hot & spicy chicken. Was charged 2 extra dollars (If I'm reading correctly) for a side replacement (ordered chicken lo mein instead of their pork fried rice that came with the meal). Also, they add veggies when it isn't in the description for the meal. I ordered hot & spicy chicken, and there was 90% veggies and 10% chicken. Soup Dumplings were not as cooked as I thought they would be. read more

One of the better quality take out places. The shrimp in lobster sauce always has good number of decent size shrimps and is delicious! Most of the dishes we tried so far have been good quality, non greasy and great tasting. read more

Jeff is an amazing person. The food is outstanding. And take it from me, I've tried a lot of different Chinese spots. But something about the texture and taste from this place, makes it amazing. I can't believe the two star reviews! I've been ordering here for a long time but only recently started changing it up and EVERYTHING has been delicious. I don't eat much rice so I got shrimp and garlic sauce for the first time with wonton soup instead of rice. But they had to give extra veggies since I didn't get rice. Um OK... It was delicious! And I have soup and an extra (free with $18 purchase) eggroll for lunch tomorrow! The only thing I don't love is the boneless bbq rib appetizer - I've had better. But everything else has been great. Dim sum, dumplings, chow fun, chow Mai fun, sesame chicken, lo Mein, shrimp toast, chicken and eggplant. Always good! They get here fast and the delivery guy literally runs to the door so the food is piping hot. read more

This is my go-to choice for Chinese food. The food is delicious and ready in usually ~15 minutes. The staff are friendly at the counter and the prices are what you'd expect. Their General Tso's is excellent and my personal fave. For something lighter, I recommend the Chicken Chow Mein. The dumplings are decent, both steamed and fried. I recommend this as take out dining as their seating is limited and it's quite warm in the summers. They are quite busy at dinner time so calling your order in ahead of time is a good idea. read more

Great Wok has good Chinese Food at a very reasonable price and will make anything that you want. We are avid Chinese Food fans and order from Great Wok at least once a week. Everyone that we recommend Great Wok to loves it. Additionally, they deliver to Jericho and are their prices are far more reasonable than other Chinese take out restaurants such as Yim's Wok. They will steam protein and any veggies that the dieters want, will sauce on the side. For others who want more mainstream dishes, their ribs are great, both bone in and boneless, terrific soups, good General Gau's and Sesame Chicken. Mongolian Beef (sliced with scallions and onions) is excellent as is Jumbo Shrimp and Chili Sauce and Orange Beef. If you spend $35, you get a free chicken dish (can't beat that". A $45 take out order of hot and delicious food delivered to your house is the equivalent order of a $65 order from establishments north of the LIE.
