I have to say these past few times ordering out, not that I'm expecting gourmet take out, but it just has not been great. Today did not get our order right. My stepfather eats primarily kosher, we asked for brown rice, what did we get? Pork fried rice. We also asked for shrimp with lobster sauce with again, brown rice, we got white rice. For my meal I typically get the steamed dumplings which are usually my favorite from the Pearl Inn. But this time they were over steamed, hard, and missing the sauce that they usually send you home with when you order the dumplings. I also ordered shrimp with Broccoli but the sauce was very watery this time around. Also again, not that I expect perfection, but even the broccoli to shrimp ratio was very off. I might as well have ordered broccoli in brown sauce. I'm not completely upset or thrilled but certainly disappointed with how the last few times ordering take out from here.

Ni Hao! I don't understand Chinese but it looks like a family run restaurant. The place is quite small as it is a take out place, just three tables and some chairs. The kitchen is large and open so you have a view of what's cooking. There are 4 to 5 people constantly talking in Mandarin, taking orders on the phone and occasionally shouting. The food is pretty delicious and flavorful. The portions are huge and the service very friendly. Unpretentious food at reasonable prices, always *****. What I like here: - very tasty food - cheap prices - friendly and fast service - delivery available

Very good local option for Chinese takeout. Good chicken and broccoli, decent lo mein and good eggrolls

It's average Chinese food. Not amazing, not bad, just a really convenient place to go if you are in the mood for some general Tao.

The prices are very reasonable for the food you get, everything came out quickly and tasty. The menu was so big, my friends and I will need to go back to try some of the other dishes. I loved how we ordered on an IPAD-it was great to see all the dishes we were ordering before we got the food. This was my first time that I went to a restaurant where all the ordering was done on an IPAD, I loved this way of looking at the menu and ordering! I do not eat red meat and there were plenty of chicken and vegetarian options to choose. I cannot wait to return to try more of the sushi as well as the soup dumplings again-so tasty! This is a GREAT place to go to before seeing a show at the Westbury Music Fair (it is only about 5-10 minutes away and the service is very quick-they almost rush you out)!

The hibachi table we sat at was impossibly close to the wall on the left as you walk in. In order to get into a seat you had to remove a chair to get into and seat yourself sideways onto the seat and then the next person would have to do the same. There were at best two servers for the room of six hibachi tables. Drink orders came after 20 minutes and then the children's drinks were forgotten. What was delivered was good, though. Hot sake and a sakatini paired with a beer. We felt bad because there was only one hibachi chef working and he had a full house. He did well and tried to provide good service even though he had to work non- stop. A good but not great show while we were being served. Not taking anything away from him because he really was swamped. Food was good and delivered either hot or cold and nothing to complain or rave about. One of the most "on par" meals I've had in a while. Prices were standard Long Island prices if not a few dollars per item elevated in comparison to other hibachi restaurants. Overall, fair for a decent meal.

When you dine in they will bring some sliced watermelon, water and rice crackers to the table to start your experience. I ordered a number of different dishes to get a feel for the place, as well as feed the family. The order: walovi/Wanglaoji (can of tea served cold) Scallion Pancakes, Lychee Shrimp Balls, Beef Soup with hand pulled noodles, special dumplings, Mashed Cucumber salad, sausage, and stir fried beef noodles. Overall the food was amazing 9.5/10 The entire meal was delicious, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the dishes full of flavor. The Leychee shrimp balls were excellent, the mashed cucumber salad was refreshing and full of flavor. All the dishes were seasoned well, the special dumplings were a little over seasoned and thus the 9.5 instead of a perfect 10. The tea was refreshing and not overly sweet it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

The wait was less than 20 minutes but then another few minutes before we were given menus. We went here because a friend told us they had good Peking duck. Well apparently they sold out the night before. Not quite sure how you sell out of Peking duck on a Friday but then have none for the rest of the weekend. Nonetheless we stayed but we really shouldn't have. This is definitely an Americanized Chinese place. The spare ribs barely had meat on the bone and the meat was tasteless. I did enjoy the wontons in my wonton egg drop soup and the beef skewers were tasty. They made the moo shoo pancakes for us which was nice. The scallion pancakes were all dough and maybe a sliver of scallion. I don't think I will return even if they guaranteed the Peking duck. I can't imagine it would be worth it. As an aside, besides the people who worked there, I think hubby and I were the only other Asians. If you're looking for Chinese food (other than the Peking duck), there are numerous other Chinese restaurants with tastier food and definitely better service.
