Our family moved to Long Island, Suffolk County a few years ago and we truly miss authentic Asian food from Queens neighborhoods such as Bayside, Elmhurst and Flushing. We were thrilled when we landed on this hidden gem after moving to LI and found out this family moved their restaurant to Syosset, NY. If you are in the mood for Asian family-style meals, especially Taiwanese cuisine, we highly recommend Eatery 19 in Long Island.

If the closing time is 8:30 PM, the hours posted online should be updated so customers aren't misled. More importantly, the customer service could definitely use some improvement. I understand that employees want to close up at the end of the day, but the way the situation was handled left me feeling unwelcome. Hopefully management will take a look at both the posted hours and the customer service experience. Clear communication and a welcoming attitude go a long way.

He did well and tried to provide good service even though he had to work non- stop. A good but not great show while we were being served. Not taking anything away from him because he really was swamped. Food was good and delivered either hot or cold and nothing to complain or rave about. One of the most "on par" meals I've had in a while. Prices were standard Long Island prices if not a few dollars per item elevated in comparison to other hibachi restaurants. Overall, fair for a decent meal.

I grown up in Jericho and I currently work in the city. Every week, I would always visit Yim's. The food is always so fresh and no restaurant can beat their freshness.
