-food was good. I'm a squid sushi fanatic and the way they cut it made it extra tender, great texture.. I was happy they had Tom Yum soup, tasty but it had some kind of creamy base like coconut milk that threw it off.. Service needs work as they threw me in the (empty) back room and the server seemed extra slow when I told them I had to leave soon to meet people.. Prob a decent local place if you have extra time and you're a regular there read more

Itsuki Sushi - Sushi Bars Near Me - East Meadow, New York

We just left Electrify Expo at Nassau Coliseum and wanted sushi. My husband is great at finding random spots for good food and this spot came up with very good reviews. We drove past it the first time - it's super easy to miss and is a very tiny storefront next to a condemned building. Don't let this deter you! We would have missed out on some of the best sushi we've had -- and it was super affordable since we were there during happy hour. An array of rolls, shumai and gyoza, plus cocktails and soft drinks was just around $130 before tip. We left very full! There is a sushi bar near the entrance and then table seating. They also have a second dining room that could used for parties, I think. The service was fast and friendly. And the sushi presentation was exceptional. I love the creativity that goes into sushi! There are so many places to eat in this area of Nassau county. But if we are shopping at Roosevelt Field or going to an event at Nassau Coliseum we would drive the 15 minutes for dinner here. They also have a full Asian fusion menu, including poke bowls, teriyaki, and lunch box specials. read more

We've ordered from there twice and both times they've been fantastic. We chose to order the 8-roll platter for $45 because we usually order 6 rolls from our regular spot and those 6 rolls here would be $42, so for the extra $3, we're getting two more rolls. Win! All the rolls are generously filled with sushi and not rice. The spicy tuna rolls tended to get a little greasy after awhile and I don't know if that's just my personal experience because the wife didn't agree. They do a beautiful presentation and I could see ordering this to bring to a party and show up looking like a champ. The service is quick and friendly and the restaurant itself is small and clean. read more

After my neighborhood sushi purveyor closed, Itsuki Sushi popped up on my Yelp suggestion list so I decided to try them for a late takeout dinner. Ordered a variety of dishes including tricolor (tuna, hamachi & salmon, plus spicy tuna roll) sushi entree, edamame, gyoza and shrimp shumai. Ordering process on their website was smooth and simple, and the food was ready on time. Their nigiri sushi was well made with just the right amount of rice and very fresh fish, and the entree included a small green salad and miso soup. Friendly staff, very tasty food and reasonable pricing. Can't wait to pop in for an in-person dining experience as well. Excellent experience all around. read more

Decided to try this place since one of my fave sushi spots is closed today. Upon walking in, i was greeted immediately & seated. Everything was clean, neat, tidy, well lit, nicely decorated and sushi is being freshly made as i walk in (there was someone waiting for pickup). I ordered the crispy rice first bc it is one of my fave appetizers and WOW!! So, so good and it tasted so fresh. Probably one of the best i ever had. I got spicy kani and shrimp tempura for lunch and i watched the sushi chef make my rolls nice and fresh! The waitress kept checking in on me throughout my lunch and was so kind and friendly, she refilled my tea without me asking! I didn't have room for dessert but will definitely come back here again. Everything was so tasty! read more

The sashimi pieces are large, very tender and fresh. The portions are fairly large and the presentation is one of the best I've seen. Staff is very attentive and friendly and there are 2 rooms with the second having 6 more tables. They also have hibachi, though I didn't see where. read more

Came in a Friday night and service was very friendly and attentive. Ordered two drinks from the bar and they were delicious! The rock shrimp appetizer and seaweed salad were tasty and we polished them off quickly. The Wizard of Oz roll was very fresh and we really enjoyed it. Also ordered a tuna roll and salmon roll, but we did not care for these. The seaweed was chewy and hard to eat. It was off putting. Everything else was great! read more

It was a cold midweek evening and this was the time for sushi. I side we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated to a very warm part of the restaurant. It was quiet, and something needed. Soup was hot, food was delicious, the sushi great. They seem to do a thriving take out business but definitely go in person to try the meals. read more

Solid sushi--nothing amazing but still tasty if you are craving some rolls. I came with a few friends last week for lunch. Service was quick and waiters were attentive. I ordered an eel dragon roll and my friends ordered the lunch special. My eel roll was solid--the texture of the eel itself seemed a little overcooked? All in all, seems like one of the better options for sushi here on long island but nothing to blow your mind read more

I am very picky about Chinese and restaurants. I have had really good ones and unfortunately, there are quite a few pretenders out there. Imagine my surprise, one, finding out that Itsuki sushi was right down the street from me and two, how much of a gem this restaurant is. I ordered two sushi rolls and a vegetable teriyaki dish. It was absolutely delicious and delivered hot. There was plenty of teriyaki sauce with the order (something that doesn't happen often these days with a lot of the restaurants) and the vegetables were fresh and plenty of them. I'll be seeing them again soon! read more

My wife and I came here just the other day and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the place. We wish we tried it sooner so we could sit outside but sadly it is too cold. The service was wonderful. Our salads and soups came out right after putting our order in. We had the grilled squid, which was delicious but a bit too much as an appetizer. Though that might have to do with the sushi boat we ordered for dinner which was plenty of bang for our buck. I'm back here again grabbing a sushi lunch order only days later. read more

Delicious food at affordable prices! Addicted to this place! Amazing lunch specials too!

Food is delicious! Service is top tier. Love going to Itsuki- my favorite local sushi place. Happy Hour!!!

Steak was rubbery not fresh. Fried rice tasted so bland. Ordered a standard avocado roll and they added crab and mango. Completely unsatisfying. Do not recommend if you want quality. Hope management upgrades their standards. read more
