This has got has got to be the best sushi I have ever had and I've been eating sushi for well over 40 years! My wife and I shared the sushi sashimi platter for two. It was reasonably priced and contained well more than enough sushi/sashimi for both of us. Also included two premium rolls. Every piece was thick and tasted amazingly fresh. More recently, some of the sushi restaurants give you very thin slivers of fish with lots of rice. This was the opposite! We will definitely be returning and will make this our go to place for sushi on the North Shore of Long Island. Service was very fast and accurate. Stopped into H House in Jericho for a quick takeout order tonight. ( see pix) I got my order in just before they closed at 8:30 pm. If you order a meat platter you get rice but if not, as was my case , I ordered Pork fried rice for 13.50 a tray. The chicken noodle soup noodles were very soft and the broth very salty. I did try and like a medium tea with citron and honey the lady server was very y kind a let me taste a spoon of the citron to see if I liked it . As a sweet treat at home I added mint. I found the appetizer portion of Beef Scallion Pamcake to be very tasty . The order board was a touch screen and then I had to reach over a table full of various items to sign a screen for a credit card which of course had an additional fee attached. I ordered lunch from Hazuki for the first time earlier via DoorDash and was mostly impressed! I got the Chicken Katsu Lunch Bento Box and the Shrimp Tempura appetizer (both pictured). I really enjoyed the chicken katsu and shrimp tempura, which were cooked very well - tender on the inside, crunchy on the outside without being too greasy. The California roll and shumai that came in the bento box were delicious as well. Unfortunately, the salad greens were starting to brown and the white rice was on the hard side, so I'm not sure that those sides were very fresh. All in all, I'd consider ordering from Hazuki again when I'm in the mood for Japanese food, but I'd hope the ingredients were more fresh next time! read more
