Visiting the area and looking for a last- night dinner. They were close by and open later than most places here. Walking in, I noticed the place was very clean. There were a few tables to sit and a counter. It was not clear if there was table service so we approached the counter, where we were informed to order then sit. We order and paid at the same time, and I added a 20% tip. We got pad Thai, chicken katsu, and two sushi rolls. After a few minutes, a woman brought out water. A bit later, some food, then a bit later, the rest of the food. That was the end of the service. No checking in us, no water refills, no asking if we needed a lid for leftovers... just a man yelling at the two other employees and them looking uncomfortable. The one without the broth was delicious and savory. The ones with broth were so flavorful and hit every nook and cranny you want in ramen. So delicious and rich in flavor. This place is a breath of fresh air. We had been anxious to try this place when we saw it was coming in. We weren't disappointed. We went in with the idea of trying a little bit of everything. It was all delicious and well-seasoned without being salty. The meats of each dish were cooked perfectly, the chicken and beef were tender and the pork belly of the tonkatsu and shoyu ramen had a nice little char on them, while still managing to not get dried out. The spicy beef was definitely spicy, but not overly so. It had a nice underlying smoky heat that hung around after each bite. It bears mentioning that all three dishes were each healthy-sized meals in their own right and moderately-priced. The pork dumplings were fairly standard and the crispy spring rolls managed to live up to their namesake. I like the dipping sauce that came with the spring rolls. It was a duck sauce but it had a nice sour bent to it. I really hope this place sticks around because I'd like to work them into the takeout rotation. If they read this review, you guys really need to provide more picture examples of your dishes. Most people aren't familiar with the style of cuisine and it needs a little more attention. read more

Me and my wife stopped by the other day, we already had a bad feeling about this place but it was the only place opened at the time. We ate and it was the worst food me and my wife ate. The ramen was falling apart and the broth tasted like dish water. They even managed to mess up the coke as it tasted like carbonated dish water. When we asked for the check the waiter got mad because we left a lot of food, I told him it was because it was disgusting and he got mad and told us to get out. I decided to give this place a try because my daughter wanted ramen. We placed an order of spring rolls, Tonkotsu ramen, plain ramen, and a Kani salad. Everything was delicious!!!! My daughter said "mommy here try the chicken (pork) it's so juicy and yummy!" She was right!!!! She loved it! I took a bite of one of the spring rolls and they were flaky and delicious as was the dipping sauce. The Kani salad had regular lettuce under and they gave us extra salad dressing. I wish they had put more Kani salad on top of the lettuce but overall yummy. The portions were generous and there was enough ramen to eat the following day. They even gave us a free Thai iced tea (I think with orders over 30.00). This place is located in East Meadow and I love supporting small and new businesses. Will definitely order from here again.
