A flawless dining experience at Copper Wok! The restaurant has a beautiful, sophisticated vibe and the staff provides excellent service. Everything on the menu is 100% halal. The Masala Guava and Cucumber Mint mocktails were incredibly crisp and refreshing. Every dish impressed us--from the flavorful Killer Kebab, Kung Pao, Chilli Garlic Noodles, Goan fish curry, and the Saag Burrata to the gold-foiled lamb chops. Incredible execution and presentation. We will definitely be back!

I went to Copper Wok today with 2 of my friends for a late lunch/early dinner. Everything was delicious! We had the Matcha Mule, Lychee Rose & Cucumber Mint zero-proof cocktails. They were all refreshing and flavorful, without being too sweet. We decided to order different dishes and share so we could all try different things, and I'm glad we did because the portions were big! We ordered the Basil Bang Bang Chicken (amazing flavor with a little kick), Chili Garlic Noodles Kick (a little more heat but not overpowering, it had a crunch on top that gave the dish some texture, maybe nuts?), Killer Kebabs (chicken was juicy and tender), Tandoori Lamb Chops (my fave dish - so much flavor, came with a mango sauce and yogurt mint sauce on the side that were both delicious) and garlic naan (I didn't try this, but my friends said it was great, crispy on the outside but still pillowy with roasted garlic on it). Even the pickled onions that were the garnish to the lamb chops and kebabs were tasty. The service was also top notch - the waitress/waiter gave us great suggestions and were very attentive. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience and I would go back any day.

The food was amazing! The service was amazing. There was no wait and the staff was extremely attentive and engaging. Parking was available right in front and the vibe of the place is chic romantic.

Booked the party room 3 weeks in advance for a mid-week dinner for 14 people. Confirmed it late…read moremorning the day of the dinner, even details like how I wanted the tables set up. I got a call from the restaurant 2.5 hrs. prior to my reservation time, telling me that there is a conflict, they have a party booked for that room tonight so we couldn't use the party room. When I questioned how that was possible since I booked the room over 3 weeks in advance, I was told that the person who booked my dinner was unaware that they were in negotiations with this other party, that they hadn't received a down payment yet from them and that was why it wasn't in the computer. I was told that this was a $120/head party with open bar. I found the entire story to be sketchy and difficult to believe. Because it was so close to the time of our group's dinner, I had no choice but to allow them to set us up at a table in the middle of the restaurant. While they did a nice job setting up the table with tablecloths and making it nice, this did not meet the needs of our group at all. This is a group that meets monthly and who like to socialize with each other after dinner, change seats around and chat with each other. Being in the middle of the restaurant it was impossible for us to do this. The party room would have been perfect. The restaurant closed at 10 pm the day we were there. I left at 8pm and there was still no one in the party room, so I feel the story given to me was made up and there was no big party being held in that room on that evening. They likely did not want to use that space, perhaps staffing or some other reason. I would have preferred to be told the truth; it would have sat much better with me than the story I was told. I also did not believe that they had the possibility of a big party and it wasn't in the computer for the staff to be aware that the room would possibly be occupied that night. The food was good, although two of our group said their dish was cold. Sushi was fresh. Service was good, staff was attentive. I am definitely never going to use this restaurant again to book our group dinner, but I might go again for a lunch or possibly a dinner with just a couple of other people. I'm very disappointed in how they changed my reservation at the last minute, and the party room remained empty the entire evening.

The food is probably one of the worst Asian fusion places I've had and I honestly feel like all of the money goes into presentation instead of actual quality. I've been here a few times and for some reason, have been around people that ordered takeout from here a few times so I've given them a chance more times than I should have and they have never delivered. The drinks are okay, definitely another one of those "presentation heavy" style drinks for some simple cocktails but I wont fault them for that. The real problem here is the food. I've ordered a few of their noodle dishes and it's honestly impressive how they manage to avoid having any flavor in their dishes. Like, I dont even know how you can get shrimp to taste like nothing but they've definitely done it here! The chicken I've had in their dishes is without a doubt frozen and if its not flavorless, its definitely rubbery and about as appetizing as eating a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Aside from the fact that their portion sizes are way too small for the prices they are charging. If you want Indian food, there are plenty of better options on the same street and same thing if you want Asian food. If you want to impress someone for about 5 minutes, take them to the actual restaurant, stare at some fish, get 1 drink and then high tail it out of there cause even the fish deserve better food than what they serve here.

The food we ordered was good, and i recommend trying the cocktails If you can, I'd suggest not being seated near the kitchen door. Unfortunately, that's where we were, and the constant back-and-forth from staff was pretty distracting and took away from the experience. They did mess up my order initially, but they fixed it, which I appreciated.

Given the culinary brilliance here, if you order one of your favorites, it'll be done well, but you're better off trying something unique that might not be on the menu at your local Chinese, Indian or Thai spot. Chili tofu and basil ginger fish were two great showcases for the complex spices available here. (I'm a real American hero, I ate fourths since my parents preferred leftovers that didn't have the top spice levels). And if you're spice-adverse yet chili-curious, the honey chili potato is worth a shot. These are essentially fries. Our server, Ten, was amazing. He adeptly handled the multiple time frames of our orders and is ready to provide suggestions for those who didn't spend 40 minutes researching on Yelp. Part 2. I wish there was editing capability for older reviews. I'm a two-sentence guy - are there fish tacos, does it have strange hours of operation and will they sneer at me for wearing Kohls? - and my first Kunga Kitchen attempt was a bit extra. It even had a narrative arc. I'm someone who thinks movies can be better if the character doesn't change or learn anything, but I tried for three-act structure and can't possibly top that original review so it would be better if I could a couple of recent entrees to the first one.

Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

I ordered the chicken pad see ew, beef red curry, chicken satay, and basil chicken. Tried to hit every meat group. Next time gotta try the fish The Chicken Pad See Ew was a standout. Wide rice noodles with that perfect chewy texture and beautiful wok hei char. The savory-sweet soy-based sauce coated everything perfectly, and the mix of tender chicken and juicy pieces made it incredibly satisfying. The Beef Red Curry was rich and aromatic with a luscious coconut milk base. The red curry paste had great depth. There was layers of lemongrass, galangal, and spices. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and Thai basil were fresh and plentiful. I loved how it had a nice kick that built up without overpowering the dish. The Chicken Satay came out perfectly grilled with beautiful char marks. The chicken was juicy and marinated well, and the peanut sauce on the side was creamy, nutty, and addictive. Finally, the Basil Chicken delivered that classic Thai street-food flavor. Plenty of fragrant holy basil, lots of garlic, and just the right amount of chili heat. The chicken was tender with great texture, and it paired amazingly with jasmine rice. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous too -- we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. As my son would say "10 out of 10!" but since we are on yelp, we'll have to settle with a 5. 3.5 Stars for their lunch specials!…read more This was our first visit, and we only ordered a salad and two lunch specials. I would definitely come back to try other items from their regular menu. I found the entrees in the lunch special a little skimpy. These are the dishes we shared: -- Papaya Salad ($12): this is from their regular menu, and I thought it was excellent! Well balanced and so tasty! -- Drunken Noodles w.Beef (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Soup, which was a Tom Yum Soup. The Soup was very spicy but the Drunken Noodles were very mild; almost bland. It definitely needed more flavors and wok hei, but still ok. -- Massaman Curry w.Shrimp (Lunch Special $14.95): this came with a Spring Roll and your choice of either Soup or Salad. We chose the Salad, which came with a Peanut sauce. The Salad was actually pretty good; the peanut sauce was slightly sweet. The Massaman Curry w.Shrimp was very weak in flavor and only came with 3 little shrimps. I would suggest you order a different protein and skip the shrimp. Customer service was good; albeit there was nobody to greet us when we first arrived, so we just seated ourselves. But service got better. They didn't rush us to order and let us linger after we finished eating. But after a while, we were asked to leave since they close the restaurant in between the lunch and dinner service (between 3:30-4:30pm). Sorry, we were not aware of this! All in all, a decent first experience. Next time, I'd skip the lunch specials and just order off their regular menu.
