Patrizi's pasta is such a staple here in Austin. The price for a meal here is very reasonable. The food is consistent at both of their locations. All of their homemade, hand pulled pasta is delicious and perfectly cooked al dente. My favorites are the carbonara and Pomodoro! Definitely treat yourself to some garlic bread loaded with garlic confit. My friends and I like participating in trivia with Geeks Who Drink, and this particular location has been one of our favorites because of the food. GWD hosts here on Wednesday evenings in the outdoor area. Parking is a bit difficult as the lot fills up quickly, and the road is dark. read more

I was so disappointed when this location didn't become a Mexican food restaurant. Then I found out it was going to be Italian, which is very low on my list of likes. Patrizi's has made me love their food. It's so ridiculously good. The house made pasta is off the chart. I've had plenty of pasta and surely some of it had to be house made. None of it was even close to how good Patrizi's pasta is. You know what's as good as the pasta? Their focaccia. You need a quiet secret place to eat it mercilessly without others judging you. It demands no less. But wait - there's more - they pretty much use the focaccia to make their pizza. Holy smokes. There are a few salad choices and somehow they make those sparkle too. The house made giardiniera is delicious. While the meatball is what everyone raves about (it's worth it), we like the chicken arrosto. Add that to any pasta order and it perfects it. The location is a little challenging to park at. It's extremely popular so parking gets full most evenings. The building and grounds are pleasant and there's a lot of room indoors and out. Live music and trivia on designated nights. The bar is well stocked and I love their negroni. Take out has been easy especially now that the online portal is running. The only thing that could make this place better is if they applied themselves to some enchiladas. Meantime, what they do is spectacular. Take my money and feed me focaccia! read more

Great quality casual Italian food with ingredients imported from Italy. We went on a Saturday and enjoyed live music on the patio. It's like a gem of restaurant located off the beaten track where locals hangout. Staff were friendly. When we went they were donating proceeds from a select drink to help a server who needed support with medical expenses. The heartwarming gesture speaks to the culture of the restaurant. The lasagna was amazing. The tomato basil appetizer stood out with its fresh local tomatoes and herbs plus imported cheese. read more

I love Patrizi's! I was a regular customer of the food truck back during 2020-2021 when I was still living in Austin. My favorite dish is the Great Leopold, just love the fresh taste of the sauce on the pasta. I also highly recommend the garlic bread; the confit garlic just melts in your mouth and is so delicious! This most recent visit I went to their new location on the west side and it was a great experience. The outdoor dining area was very fun and easy to enjoy a meal with family and friends. They had outdoor heaters and a live DJ which was great, Drinks were served at the bar inside, and there's a water & utensils station outside for ease of use. This was the first time we tried dessert, and we had the ice cream with olive oil. Sounds weird at first, but it was so good. The oil added a nice texture to the ice cream and honestly went very well with it. read more

PATRIZI'S IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PASTA IN AUSTIN, HANDS DOWN!! Y'all get ready for my review because I have a lot of wonderful things to say. Shoutout to Joey and Eric for taking care of us and giving exceptional service! This was my first time at the Cuernavaca location which has a different vibe than Manor. I like them both but I think this west location is now my favorite. People ask me about food recommendations and Patrizi's is always at the top of my list. Excellent bar selection with extremely knowledgeable bartenders. The carbonara is my go-to; it has so much flavor. I tried the margarita pizza and seared risotto and Marfa tomatoes and they were great, carbonara still wins for me. And save room for some delicious sundaes. Patrizi's you never disappoint. Thanks for making my birthday so special!! read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new place to eat, we visited the Cuernavaca location which is a restaurant. The other Patrizi's is a food truck at the Vortex location on Manor Road. If you didn't know, the food truck it is the original Patrizi's. Everything is homemade; the pasta noodles, the cheese, the wine, the bacon, EVERYTHING! The restaurant is seat yourself and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is a bit small, but nice nonetheless and around nighttime it's perfect to be seated outside. The ambiance is very chill and relaxing, they had music playing softly and the decor in the restaurant wasn't overwhelming, everything complemented the restaurant. Since we had never been before, one of the employees gave us the rundown on everything and was super nice! Basically you can get a regular plate of pasta or a half portion and the same can be done for the salads. I am not sure if the same applies at the Vortex location. My boyfriend and I were hungry so we got full portions. Pictured at the bottom: I got the Diavolo pasta which had the perfect amount of spice and lemon. I also had the cucumber basil mocktail (green drink) it was refreshing and not too sweet, almost like a fresh lemonade. My boyfriend and I each got our own garlic bread (it's a must), we also got the Patrizi's house salad to share (which I nearly ate all by myself, it was sooo good), and pictured at the top left is the Carbonara pasta which was so creamy and the bacon was amazing along with the pink lady cocktail. The food was great, and the flavor was all there, however, the pasta was barely warm when it came out and got cold pretty quickly while eating. Other than wishing the pasta had come out hotter everything was delicious to say the least and do recommend to try it out if you haven't! read more

The food here is amazing. So fresh. So homemade tasting. Perfectly plated and sized. Patrizis restaurant itself has that wonderful Austin vibe with organic decor, loads of outdoor seating and a bandstand. We were there for lunch and ordered the Patrizis salad with chicken and the flavor was both unique and tasty. The garlic bread side order might as well have been from the dessert menu it was that delectable. On this Friday afternoon around 2p, the place was fairly empty -I'm assuming because after 4p the menu opens to pasta dishes and live music. The outdoor seating was so cute and offered chalk buckets and lots of grass to allow for kiddo fun as well. Coming back for my birthday to see how the nightlife and noodles match up. read more

Love love the vibe of pateizzi's. The pizza is better than the pasta. But will absolutely return for the pizza. Cute family run restaurant. What's not to love?! read more

First time venturing to this quaint, mountain-lodge type restaurant nestled back in a neighborhood near the river/lake. I went based on Yelp reviews and was pretty happy overall. I'm on a lowering my carbs kick so it is nice that you can get a 1/2 order of their house made pasta (all fettucine) with the various sauces. I chose the red one because I wanted to try the meatball, which was very very good - as was the pasta and sauce. The pasta was a perfect al dente as well. I had a house salad along with it that was massive and very fresh. Ordering is a little odd in that you open your tab at the first counter and then proceed to the bar for any beverage including tea or soda. The bartender was helpful and I got my drink and found a table. You have a table tag and they bring out the order. When you're done you close out your tab either at bar or front ordering counter. Really cool ambience.. hard to describe but the pictures already on yelp are accurate. When you close your tab there are the customary tip recommendation percentages.. which I thought were a little high since you don't really get full wait staff service... I don't mind tipping the cashier/bartender and people that bring out the food, but it's not full service so I think they should start the recommended tip at 10%. read more

This place has been on my list for a while as a newbie in Austin and we decided to check out the West location instead of East. I was extremely impressed. We waited about 10-15 minutes in line but wasn't bad and then took another 20 or so for the food to come out. I haven't had amazing Italian food yet in Austin, but this was authentic and fresh. The garlic bread was so moist yet crispy at the same time. Red beet salad was pretty good. We got four pastas to split between four people, and it was the perfect amount. Each one had its own unique flavor I'm not even sure which was my favorite or if I could pick. Maybe the lemon with chicken which we added or the pesto. Unfortunately they were out of the carbonara around 7 PM on a Sunday which I was most looking forward to, so I'll have to go back for it. We sampled some cocktails and those were amazing as well and so fresh. I can't wait to come back. It's a perfect chill spot. read more

Delicious! Easy family friendly place to eat. Always looking for good value and great food!

We have been to Patrizi's a lot since they opened up a second location. The expansion has so much seating and the space is so cute and great for gathering with family and friends! Patrizi's has the best pasta in town - you can tell it's so fresh. The Leopold is a classic and so nutty in a good way. The Diavolo was a bit spicy for my taste but the Carbonara is always perfectly creamy and we get that every time. We will keep coming back for sure for quality Italian food! read more

Ambiance: 4.5/5 Food: 4/5 Amazing ambiance! We went there to celebrate my birthday. It was 100°F with real feel of 107°F. They have a setup of most plus fans which really helps to beat the heat. It is pet friendly restaurant. Our friends have a dog so it was plus for outdoor seating. Everyone had a nice time. Food is good. Service is excellent. We were there in the restaurant for couple of hours. Not that busy on Saturday. Live music is good added touch. Our order is as shown in pictures. All dishes were good. However my personal favorite was Pomodoro pasta over pesto. read more

Great recipes and great atmosphere. Fresh and tasty menu. Fun place with friendly waiters. Definitely recommended.

We love Patrizis ans while we usually visit the one at the Vortex, we really like the ambiance in the outpost on Cuernavaca. We especially like the indoor and outdoor space which are both very dog friendly. They had live music on the steel drums when we were there and the patio is a vibe although in hindsight we might have sat inside because it was a bit warm and there were some flies. Service is order at the counter when you walkin and servers deliver food to your table. Everyone was pretty friendly and made sure we were enjoying our meal. The food is the star here. You have to try the garlic bread; it's the best thing on the menu and everything is else is so good. We got a side salad which was good, the pizza is incredibly fresh and crispy straight from the pan it was cooked in. The leopold pasta is really good. Overall even though it's a drive from where we leave we will be back again soon! read more

This place has it all, wonderfully handcrafted and tasty pastas and sauces, great service and a very cool environment, I ordered the pasta with bolognese sauce and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Our tables shared the meatball as a little extra and it was just as amazingly fresh and delicious, along with the flavorful food, the restaurant and bar area are beautiful with rustic decor and garage doors that open to an expansive outdoor space. I am looking forward to visiting again when I'm in the area so I can try more of their delicious dishes!! read more

Horrible customer service!! My daughter and I went to try the new location. My daughter happened to see the cook who had long black braids put food from the line in his mouth. He gave her eye contact and smirked at her disgusted look. We proceeded to address the concern to the closest employee; a bartender. He shrugged it off and asked if we wanted a drink. He said "Im sure he washed his hands." He said he would talk to him and instead went a female worker to discuss it with her. She immediately turned around to stare rudely at us. Meanwhile the entire cooking staff behind the big glass windows were laughing at us and clearly unphased. We were approached by a bar manager and his response was "I know this crew and it's not like them...blah blah.." We asked for a refund. We decided to take a chance and go to the original location in the Vortex. The manager there ignored us and never responded to our concern to address the problem from the other location. We then searched for the owner across street at Vic and Al's who was unavailable due to eating his dinner. The woman we talked to who was going to "pass along the concern" said they were familiar with who we were referring to based on their descriptions. Apparently, according to her, they have had prior issues. Will NOT be going back to either location. read more

Cute place all by itself. Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. We plan on eating there when we are back in the Austin area.

Very memorable garlic bread, let it the garlic bread sit and turn into a garlic sponge . Tried half portions of the red sauce with chicken and carbonara. I liked the red sauce, chicken was cooked fine, but maybe a little overdone. Carbonara was good but not as rich/creamy and heavy as I was expecting. Pasta was cooked well but a little bland. Definitely recommend overall, especially for the garlic bread. read more

YUM. The service here, amazing. Food, amazing. Ambiance, amazing. My friend and I ordered the spicy italian sausage pizza-- they make their pizza on focaccia, excellent decision on their part AND everything is made in house. For pasta we did the split whole order, so we got the lemon thyme and the pomodoro. We both weren't huge fans of the pomodoro, it was too sweet for me but the lemon thyme was top tier. The pasta is cooked al dente and knowing it's made in house makes it that much better. We went on a Friday night and they had live jazz playing on the patio. It was just the nicest way to spend a summer Friday evening. The music wasn't too loud either which is greatly appreciated. read more

Food was amazing, service was amazing, drinks were amazing. The garlic bread & carbonara was my favorite. Definitely will be back!

This was my first time going to this location a few months back. We had a wonderful experience. It is counter service to order. Get there early because it gets packed! Chris recommend this cucumber cocktail and he made it and it was delicious and a perfect summer drink. We all shared different pastas but the Cacio was my fave. Shoutout to Chris for also recommend the soft serve with olive oil... I've been dying to go back just for that! Great spot well around! read more

Food quality was excellent! For lunch I had the Muffuletta. It was as good as any I had in NOLA. The bar looks well stocked. The owners are nice. The salt is frustrating for a lunch. You get a metal grater and a lump of rock salt and you must grate the salt on your food. PITA. Just give a salt shaker. Chips with a sandwich would be a beautiful thing. It's almost expected. I will definitely return because it is super convenient and the food was good. Just a few tweaks to take it from food truck to actual restaurant. Oh, and tips- I didn't see a way to put a tip on the card. I didn't have cash. There needs to be a way to tip servers etc... I will update after a dinner. My opinion went up after eating their pasta. It's a much needed restaurant in this area. A great place to take a date or friends and visit. read more

Pomodoro pasta was pretty decent but the risotto was pretty bad. More like a pancake than actual risotto and with no discernible rice shapes in it. Chicken breast was cold in the risotto as well. Salad was decent but isnt very appetizing to eat it off an aluminum tray. Service was not great as we didnt get the right dishes at first. A lot of room for improvement! read more

What a restaurant!!! The food was amazing and the prices extremely reasonable. Make sure you find Joey who is truly a great human. He could not be more service oriented and could not have tried to take better care of us despite how busy the restaurant was. I was running the Austin marathon the next morning and even with the wait time for food being a little extended he got me food within 5 min. Wow!!! Do not leave Austin without eating here. You will be glad you did !! read more

The staff are inappropriate. Let me count the ways. I walked into the patio area to meet friends and poured myself a cup of water from the outdoor cooler. One of the servers, his name was Joey, asked what I was drinking. I said water, with a question in my voice, since I'm obviously drinking water from their water cups. He then attempts to grab my cup from my hand, which I pull back.......because WHAT?!!? I DO NOT KNOW THIS SERVER. I repeated that it's water and asked what he was doing. He kept insisting that I was drinking alcohol from their water cups. He eventually slowly creeped away. I've never felt so judged/violated for no apparent reason. read more

My cousin loves off Cuerny and we often stop in for a bite and drink and every time it's delish! Came to the brick and mortar patrizis for date night. The location is a little secluded but I actually loved that. You will need to order at the register first then if you want alcohol you will need to order that separately at the bar. Kind of inconvenient but not awful by any means because the service there was absolutely spectacular. We got the garlic bread which was crispy on the outside soft on the inside and had a hint of sweetness which tied it together nicely. My bf got the Leopold with mushrooms and a meatball. The meatball had great flavor but it was dry. I wanted carbonara but they were out at the time. I ended up getting the diavolo with chicken and mushrooms per the recommendation of the gentleman at register. I'm not a chicken fan unless it's smothered in cheese or fried but they cooked this chicken really well. And I really enjoyed the spicy flavor it had and would probably get it again. We sat outside which had a very cute seating area. We wish we saw the bug spray they had out next to the water initially bc we did get eaten alive lol. Overall, Patrizi's was worth the drive and hype. I'll be back :) read more
