    My sister and great nephew

I went to this winery today and had a wonderful experience with Theres, the barista. I also met the new owner who had me taste the new Chardonnay he had just bottled. Excellent wine and excellent help at a vey reasonable price. I brought home some raspberry liquor for my 90 year old mother in law who had never tasted a liquor or any spirits actually in her 90 years of life. She love the liquor. I was amazed to see her drink it. There is a good testimonial

Just got back from wine tasting. The reds are great and reasonably priced. I recommend the berry liquors as being very tasty and different. The barista Randy was personable and knowledgeable. He had a full house and apologized to people for not being as prompt as he usually is. I hope his manager commends him

My son brings me a variety case of this wine, everytime he comes home. I love the wines he brings us, so I was excited to go to the winery! I wasn't expecting it to look the way it looked. I was expecting a building that looked like a business. This looked like a 2 bedroom house. But that doesn't even matter, what matters is what's inside right? I think they gentlemans name was Greg. Customer sevice was amazing. We were able to taste 5 to 6 wines, which wias perfect, since I already know what alot of them taste like. We walked away with about 5 bottles of wine, and there wines are affordable for the everyday wine drinkers. I also bought this wine pump, it takes the air out of the bottle, and it had a cork to put in it. I love it. And I love going to this winery. He also suggest for us to go to anther one, but it was more bugie, it wasn't our cup of tea, but it was nice that he at leaset suggested the place up the road.

I was in Mt. Vernon on business since it is an hour North from the City of Seattle we thought we would go to a winery or tasting room. The wine that we had from this region is rather very good and served in most bars and restaurants. This tasting room was one of the only ones we could find open perhaps it was because it was midweek in December. Surprised there is no sampling fee which was nice. However I felt personally you should buy some wine after all their efforts and hard work serving us. Surprised that the wines were very fruity and sweet. They say pineapple was a best seller. I personally didn't like it nor the cranberry. I favor white wines however their Duette Syrah was excellent for a red. Their chardonnay was unoaked and semi dry. But my favorite was their Muscat Canelli 2016. I bought a bottle to take home and enjoy over the holidays in South Florida. All wines reasonably priced at $12 a bottle. Discounts are given with the purchase of 6 or more bottles. Unfortunately I could only fly with so much. I would definitely stop here again the next time my travels takes me to Washington State.

Love the new location! As usual great service, great for a Saturday drive from Seattle!

Amazing wines! Great customer service, I first had their wine at the Blackberry festival and was in love. I have shared this wine with friends and family and everyone loves it. They have several flavours and I think I have had them all at this point, also you get a discount if you order 6 or more!

Just left of the entrance to the patio.

Very hospitable environment at this decidedly Northwest winery. Loved the raspberry wine. It was a tart, refreshing welcome to summer. We also tried their dry apple wine; which I could have easily confused for a white varietal. Either way, just slice me off a hunk of the stinkiest cheese you got barkeep and pour me another glass of that dry apple wine because life is too short to be limited to grapes alone.

Equipped with a Bluetooth speaker to complete the mood! Service was friendly as they were still working out details of this new feature. There were a couple times when we needed more wine or wanted to order more food and there were longer checkin gaps. With the reservation time being limited, we hoped for more frequent checkins. Overall fun time, wish we could've stayed a bit longer but moved our party into the tasting room after. Fun way to pass a winter afternoon!

Wine can be purchased by the glass or the bottle. Water is self-serve at the counter. Food items are light, ranging from cheese starters, salads and pizzas. During our visit we shared a few different bottles of wine, each of us favoring different blends. The White Blend bottle for $24 was a favorite for the couple ladies that preferred sweeter wine. We shared the Beet Salad for $16: Arugula, roasted beets, goat cheese, pickled red onions, pistachios and balsamic vinaigrette. We shared the Baked Brie for $16: Fig & Hazelnuts served with focaccia bread & crackers. We shared the Don't Go Bacon My Heart Pizza for $20: Olive oil, mozzarella blue cheese, pear, bacon, honey drizzle and rosemary. Staff was friendly. Overall, Bertelsen Winery was a great choice for all of us ladies to catch-up over some wine and light lunch. I look forward to attending future events outdoors.

Pro tip Stella Sopra, one of the best Italian food trucks or Italian food in general we've ever encountered is parked right on the property. Delicious handmade pasta plus good wine equals the kind of afternoon we all deserve. The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time walking us through all the wines and sharing the stories behind them. We ended up walking away with a bottle of rosé Tempranillo and a beautifully aged 2014 Tempranillo hands down one of the best reds I've had all year. We were honestly shocked in the best way that a flight of four wines plus a full glass for my husband came out to under $20 talk about incredible value for quality pours or maybe were so used to crazy Seattle pricing! There's indoor seating, but if the weather's nice, grab a spot on the patio or in the front area with your dogs and soak in the peaceful vineyard vibes. I could see the patio filling up fast during peak times, but we visited during a slower hour and loved that no one rushed us people were coming and going, and we were free to sip, snack, and stay awhile. I wasn't the biggest fan of the ciders, but their wines were definitely worth the visit. It's a smaller operation, but that's part of the charm. Local, family-run vibes with great energy, great service, and great pours. Support the little guys and bring your dogs!

They have a great, inexpensive and unpretentious wine list with plenty by the glass. We split a glass of rose and it was lovely! The food was just okay. They bragged about having large portions but our $18 cheese plate was a small snack for sure. It also said it came with fruit and chocolate and they only brought out the cheese, crackers, and nuts. Not sure if they were out, we didn't have enough time to talk to our server to figure this out. The servers were all in a huge hurry and missed a lot. I know they were busy and don't completely blame them, but it was definitely amiss. They asked if we wanted more wine and we said no, so they cleared our food quickly even though we were still eating. They also put a reserved sign on our table while we were still there (we only stayed maybe 25-30 min) and told us that someone else wanted our table. It was kind of rude and we felt super rushed by the servers. We really felt like we were being hurried out and didn't get the full experience. They also took our water glasses and dumped them on the ground next to us while we were still sitting and before we were done. They could not have been more blatant about wanting us to go even though we weren't there long. I would probably revisit on a slower day to see if things improved, but the service wasn't great.
