I have purchased Pasek cranberry wine since 2016, one or two cases a year. This year the time to ship was slow (I heard nothing until I contacted them). Never trust a company that you can't contact! Now all they have is a recording for the tasting room when you call, and no voice mail. You must use email. They have never answered me about my last order. I ordered a case of wine (two choices for labels).They sent the wrong label wine, Not a label that was listed! I believe the labels on the bottles I received were from a previous year. The wine is full of sludge, and the corks are dry. I asked them about it and they have not replied, so I can only assume I am right. With this kind of service, I predict they won't be around much longer-they have lost me as a customer! I enjoy stopping in whenever we are in the area to taste their delicious fruit wines (local). Cute and quaint location that is always welcoming and usually empty or with 1 or 2 patrons. Purchase 6 or more wines and you'll receive 10% off! At a super low price point, you could easily stock up and purchase enough for gifts. I purchased 7 bottles, included a tip and spent a little over $90. The fruit wines last about a year, so drink or gift them accordingly. As a cabernet lover, I tend to enjoy the flavors that aren't overly sweet. The blueberry is my favorite fruit wine, along with the juicy and sweet chardonnay (not your typical dry chardonnay). Their, "call me a cab" was a solid everyday smooth cabernet and I'm regretting I didn't purchase more. We have family that love their raspberry wine too. I went to this winery today and had a wonderful experience with Theres, the barista. I also met the new owner who had me taste the new Chardonnay he had just bottled. Excellent wine and excellent help at a vey reasonable price. My son brings me a variety case of this wine, everytime he comes home. I love the wines he brings us, so I was excited to go to the winery! I wasn't expecting it to look the way it looked. I was expecting a building that looked like a business. This looked like a 2 bedroom house. But that doesn't even matter, what matters is what's inside right? I think they gentlemans name was Greg. Customer sevice was amazing. We were able to taste 5 to 6 wines, which wias perfect, since I already know what alot of them taste like. We walked away with about 5 bottles of wine, and there wines are affordable for the everyday wine drinkers. I also bought this wine pump, it takes the air out of the bottle, and it had a cork to put in it. I love it. And I love going to this winery. I was in Mt. Vernon on business since it is an hour North from the City of Seattle we thought we would go to a winery or tasting room. The wine that we had from this region is rather very good and served in most bars and restaurants. This tasting room was one of the only ones we could find open perhaps it was because it was midweek in December. Surprised there is no sampling fee which was nice. However I felt personally you should buy some wine after all their efforts and hard work serving us. Surprised that the wines were very fruity and sweet. They say pineapple was a best seller. I personally didn't like it nor the cranberry. I favor white wines however their Duette Syrah was excellent for a red. Their chardonnay was unoaked and semi dry. But my favorite was their Muscat Canelli 2016. I bought a bottle to take home and enjoy over the holidays in South Florida. All wines reasonably priced at $12 a bottle. Discounts are given with the purchase of 6 or more bottles. Unfortunately I could only fly with so much. I would definitely stop here again the next time my travels takes me to Washington State. read more

We've been going to Pasek Cellars since they had their original tasting room in Mt. Vernon back in the 90's. Best fruit wines anywhere, and I've tried a lot around the northwest. This time I took a friend who had never had fruit wines and Randy was our host - great guy with a decade of experience working for another large winery so he can answer your wine questions. His customer service skills were excellent, as I've found has been true of all of the Pasek owners or staff in all three of their locations in years' past. Personally, I'm not a fan of the more fruit forward and sweeter reds or whites, but enjoyed their Cab and Pinot Gris which were great. The Cab in particular is a real value for a nice wine and you'll get change from your 20. My friend and I really enjoyed the loganberry wine and dessert wines and their Muscat Canelli was full of flavor. They really do have something for everyone. So glad to see they are up and running consistently after leaving their old location. We'll go back after this case is gone ;) read more

A spontaneous stop from Vancouver, Canada to Seattle. We tried some wines and unique ones made with other fruit than just grapes. I found them to be quite sweet but Christine Z. enjoyed them. I first stumbled upon this place during a trip to see the tulips and I have returned here many times since. The tasting room is conveniently located right off I-5, so it is an easy stop to/from a trip to BC, Deception pass, and the Tulip festival! In the 4-5x I've been here - during peak season and off season, each time the people serving the wine are very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with people like me who ask questions and want to taste everything on the list. Best of all, the tastes of everything are free, though I have never walked away empty handed. Some of my favorites: Passion fruit wine Loganberry Wine Black berry wine Late Harvest Voignier Most bottles were $10-12. Pasek Cellars was on our list as soon as we saw they were THE winery of the Tulip Festival & even offered special Tulip-labeled wines....we're such suckers for marketing! Surprised by the vast number of wines included in their tastings & knowing we had a 1.5 - 2 hr drive to SEA, we picked out those we were only truly interested in....& those started w/ the Tulip Festival wines The Tulip Red wasn't to our taste at all - we prefer a more full-bodied, robust flavor. This was pretty thin & had a bitter aftertaste The Cranberry wine (their top seller) was all kinds of nasty. Tasted like cough syrup. Same for the Blueberry, Pineapple, & Coffee ( yes! coffee-flavored wine!) We were hoping for a light, fruity wine or at least an intense port flavor - but these wines went straight for the cough syrup....nice job! What did float our boats however, was their Chardonnay. It was light, fruity & crisp & we chose 2 bottles to bring back w/ us.....it was however NOT part of the "Tulip Festival Wine" lineup but we just couldn't bring ourselves to buy anything else Sis & I did feel a bit cheated however when they talked us into their "airport boxes" over just ordering online & getting it shipped. They told us the FedEx rates would be way more expensive than their shipping box but after spending $13 on the box then $25 to airport check the box as luggage (thanks to the no-liquid policy) we ended up spending more than what we'd have paid via FedEx ( we checked ).....not to mention the schlepping of the huge heavy box to & through the airport So best tip is IF you plan to buy some bottles & are traveling, save yourself some of your hard-earned $$$ & order online read more

Our party of 3 stopped in on the way home from the tulip festival and we couldn't have had a better experience! After a long day of dealing with lines, crowds, and some not-so-friendly businesses owners, Pasek Cellars was the perfect place to get our spirits back up before the long ride home. First, the wine tastings were free. In and of itself, a free tasting might not be so rare...but the NUMBER of wines on the list was incredible. And they strongly encouraged you to try them all! I think there were probably 15+ wines you could try. The staff was very helpful and happy to serve. They have a variety of grape wines, fruit wines, and then fruity dessert wines and I sampled probably 3 of each. The pour was also a little bigger than most wine tasting experiences. Second, the wines were excellent! Fruit wines may not be for everyone but we certainly appreciated being able to try several different kinds to figure out what we liked and what we didn't. We ended up buying a bottle of raspberry wine ($10!) and the loganberry dessert wine ($15 for 1/2 bottle). Not only will I enjoy these later, but I figure a lot of other wineries would charge $10/pp for the incredible tasting we got for free. The shop was cute with lots of wine nick-knacks and was fun to browse outside of doing the tastings, which was a nice plus. read more

Pasek deserves your business. I took off a star because they just don't have a very good selection of traditional wines. The great majority of their wines are fruit wines (like cranberry) and apparently there are people in this world who love this stuff more than regular wine. Go figure. The tasting room staff were two kind-hearted women, ladies of the best class, gentle, well-mannered, and everything you could want in an aunt or a grandmother, but for a tasting room, I personally prefer to be given a little background, a little story, a little enthusiasm, which is to say, I like someone to try to sell me on the winery, rather than being little more than a polite cashier. I didn't expect too much when I walked into the Pasek Cellars tasting room which is simply a counter with wine racks in the middle of a grocery store. But... I was pleasantly surprised. Although I'm usually not a big fan of the sweet wines, these guys won me over. The wine is crisp and lively, with just the right amount of fruit. The "tasting room" quickly grows on you, and the staff is very personable. The wines pair well with the right foods and are also fun to sip on its own. We had a great time. And we both picked up several bottles. Very affordable. Truly unique selection. Definitely worth stopping by. HINT: Pick up several of the Cranberry wine bottles. A cute tasting room near I-5. We stopped on our way to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. They had free brochures, we tasted a few of their wines, and the gentleman we spoke with had plenty of local lunch recommendations. If you like fruit wine, their Cranberry wine is not overly sweet, and actually tastes like cranberries! I also enjoyed their Tulip Red, and they get the grapes from eastern Washington. If you're looking for delicious, but not pretentious then I highly recommend stopping at the Pasek Cellars tasting room. I've only been wine tasting a handful of times and while I always enjoy it, I'm easily intimidated due to my lack of wine knowledge. Fortunately, the people running the complimentary Pasek tasting room are incredibly friendly and informative and were helpful with suggesting pairings. I left with a bottle of Muscat Canelli for TEN DOLLARS. Their fruit wines were delicious- guava, pineapple, cranberry, blackberry- you name it. I'm sort of kicking myself for not picking up a few more bottles, since the wines seemed perfectly suited for spring and summer. Thankfully, PCC and QFC carry a few of the fruit wines, so I won't have to make any special trips north, though it'd probably be worth it. read more

I want to start by saying that Pasek Cellars make a wonderful group of wines and I highly recommend any one of them. My complaint is with the staff at the tasting room. I was really excited to introduce my sister to Pasek wine and we stopped at the tasting room on our way up to a family event. This was on a Saturday afternoon. We hadn't seen each other in a while so we were laughing and joking, but not loud or obnoxious. There were two other women tasting wines at the time. Our horrible experience was with the British gentleman. He was extremely pompous and decided that we shouldn't be drinking. We were given sample pours (I had four) that barely covered the bottom of the glass and when I asked my sister which wine she would like a glass of, he told me that he didn't feel comfortable serving us and proceeded to give us directions to the pub down the street, unless we were feeling "uptown", at which point we could go to a different pub. Then, he filled a goblet with water and pushed it towards me and stared at me while I drank it! I was so humiliated. First, the fact that he decided we didn't deserve full samples was a bit irritating, however, not that big of a deal. But to decide not to serve us a glass of wine at a winery and to send us to a competitor was ridiculous. We hadn't been drinking, we weren't offensive, and we didn't need to be told that we should drink our wine like we drink our beer - cold. We were two women who work too often to get together as much as we would like so we were happy and laughing. We were polite and conversational and we had already told him we were buying wine but wanted to try something different as we wanted to take a couple extra bottles to our event. We won't be back....EVER....nor will we send anyone there. I bought a bottle of wine for a gift and we quietly left. On the way out, he once again reminded us of the "downtown" pub location "unless we felt uptown". To the woman working with him on Saturday, May 21- best of luck.
