She's a vibe. Grab your girls and come sit outside and enjoy the pastel pinks, bright greens and good times. I had the turkey sandwich with fries and the fries were top tier! Crispy on the outside ... fluffy on the inside. I loved it! My waiter was a gem. He was kind, Thoughtful and personable. I would sit here any day of the week and sip on a drink and enjoy the views

We got recommended by this place by a nearby shop when we asked for recommendations at Bishop District. I'm so glad she did because this place was picture perfect. I felt like I was in another world, I was obsessed with all the colors. The food was good but a bit on the pricey side for pasta, shrimp wasn't good or breaded. I still enjoyed everything we ordered, even the bathroom had the cutest decor. The service was very nice and even got our birthday girl a little birthday dessert. No reservation during lunch time and we got seated immediately.

Paradiso is one of the most colorful and cutest spots in the Bishop Arts District! We only got drinks on the patio and it was a great vibe! The perfect patio in town! The staff was real kind and helpful! Sad they had ran out of their frozen drink though! Will come back again

Chicken Roulade

Beautiful atmosphere, we went for a girls night and enjoyed our cocktails and food. Started with a margarita and had the chicken roulade. My friend had the lamb skewers. Everything was flavorful and big enough to take home leftovers. Great service too!

One of my favorite seasonal Italian restaurants. All things pasta, fun drinks, tasty food, good vibes and the ambiance is amazing. I love the outdoor seating (it's dog friendly)! The bartenders are all really kind and welcoming. I recommend this place for brunch or lunch. It's just such a cutesy spot!

The service was amazing here. I feel like the pasta was too hard, but the decor is definitely gorgeous.

Ambiance: FREAKING AMAZING , so so pretty from the bathroom, inside and out...5 stars Service: Great, Vanessa, my waitress was very sweet and attentive. The manager, Carla, was THE BEST! They took care of me and made my time there so special. 5 stars. FOOD & Mocktail: The drink was refreshing and the bread with the different hummus was super good. My entrée was okay. The pasta was a bit hard and tasted a tad bland. Plus, I should have added some protein instead of simply eating it (meat sauce). Nonetheless, my overall experience at Paradiso (my favorite decor and service) was 10/10 MINUS NOTHING!!! Want more authentic opinions? Turkey melt with rosemary garlic Parmesan fries

Paradiso is amazing! I had the great pleasure of dining here for brunch with a friend for the first time last weekend while we were visiting the Bishop Arts District. From the spacious patio and stunning interior decor to the warm and welcoming host and servers and the delicious food, everything about this restaurant is spot on. I had the very tasty Chicken Paillard and ordered a side of the rosemary-garlic Parmesan fries (which I flat out devoured), and my friend said her turkey melt was top notch. We enjoyed leisurely conversation and appreciated the fact that our server didn't rush us through the meal (leaving extra time for people-watching). I couldn't get over the gorgeous colorful parasols and greenery hanging from the ceiling and the overall bright and airy decor. I raved about the eatery to several friends and promptly posted on my socials the same day. Definitely worth the drive from the north Dallas suburbs, and I can't wait to come back.

Lamb skewers

Beautiful restaurant which is guaranteed to wow anyone brought here on a date! Inspired by southern European food and decor - the food and drink offered is just as beautiful and delicious as the surroundings. I had the Greek lamb skewers and it was amazing - the cucumber salad underneath was the perfect accompaniment to the tasty lamb and the huge pile of flatbread was enjoyed by my date too! My date ordered the white bolognese pasta and it was an interesting twist on the traditional version - it was just enough pasta (European serving!) that allowed room for desserts

I came here during brunch with a group of 6+ plus for a birthday. TIP: 20% gratuity added when you have larger parties. Reservations were already made but it took about 15 mins for them to get our table ready. I started out with seasonal pina verde cocktail. It had a tangy spice to it. It was just okay to me, it really didn't catch my attention. I probably wouldn't order it again. I started off with the broccoli frito. It was really good! It's made of fried broccoli, cauliflower with shaved parmesan. My main entree was the four cheese pizza. It was decent, not the best pizza I've had but it did its job. Otherwise it's a pretty place to take pictures, and come for a fun time with friends.

We decided to check this spot out because of all the Instagram buzz--and it didn't disappoint! Lots of seating options outside, inside, and at the bar. We arrived around 4, so only the limited menu was available, but there was still plenty to choose from. We tried the duck appetizer and a pizza--both were delicious! The cocktails were great too. A little pricey, so definitely a one-and-done for me, but still worth the experience

Had mussels for the first time ever. These were phenomenal. Celebrated a bride on her bachelorette weekend.

It's definitely more delightfully eclectic and kitschy than neighborhoods around Downtown Dallas or East Dallas. Atlas has a funky lounge design that is warm, inviting and screams that you made it out of the house so you're ready to rage. They always have great energy in their music, creative cocktail menu, and food. I had a tasty Sidecar variation called Between Da Sheets (photo 2). They added rum to the classic recipe of cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. The rum gave it a bit of a vacationy feel which was nice. It was well-balanced and quite tasty. We highly recommend checking out Atlas next time you're in Bishop Arts and want an elevated cocktail in one of the funkiest spaces in Dallas. Do it!!! Salute @thejohnnycocktail

They banged the whole time , which we didn't know it was them until we opened the door. There was five of us, and once we opened up the door, they were telling us to watch our mouths because I yelled at them asking did they work there , obviously confused what was going on. They then decided to kick us out because we had too many people in the restroom. I only got one of the security guards name his name is Anthony another man in his 40s who had an accent decided to put his hands on me and push me. We were all so confused why we were getting kicked out. I will never be going back! That is absolutely insane. We did not take a long time either and they said it was gonna take too long if we all went together, which makes no sense. We took MAYBEEE 5 to 7 minutes in the restroom. The owner needs to get a grip on his security guards. Especially the ones that look like their on drugs sneaking people in from the back and the one man who put his hands on me for absolutely no reason!!! BEWARE LADIES: You cannot go to the bathroom with anyone or you will get kicked it and man handled !!!

The themed cocktails were creative and fun, and the layout--with three different rooms each playing different music genres--made it feel like a full experience rather than just a bar. That said, while the thought and design were incredibly well done and the drinks were good, the crowd size and some of the behavior allowed is what made the experience feel less than perfect. At times it felt a bit overwhelming and took away from what could have been a really magical night. That said, I would definitely go back. I'm hopeful it was just an off night, because the concept, atmosphere, and effort behind this pop-up are absolutely there. With better crowd control, this could easily be a standout holiday experience.

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.
