I've been here a few times and I'm happy to finally make a post here. The pizzas are incredibly FRESH with FRESH ingredients and the FRESHness makes me come back every time. I really enjoy the bahn mi and margherita pizzas for their fresh vegetables. I feel like they probably grow their own vegetables somewhere and pick it daily... In this trip I got the banh mi which has a lot of vegetables and fresh flavor and the right amount of sauce. The jalapeno sausage pizza was spicy and full of meaty flavor with the pickled(?) jalapeno. Staff is friendly and you get the vibes of a small pizza store doing it right. read more

Even though I haven't visited the location yet, I had their pizza and instantly knew I needed to leave a review. If you're anywhere near Bishop Arts and love real, thoughtfully made pizza--not the commercial chain stuff--you have to try this place. My absolute favorite was a special: the Hot Honey & Soppressata. The balance of sweet heat and savory flavor was perfect. The Banh Mi pizza is another standout and totally worth ordering if you like something a little different but incredibly delicious. Based on the quality of the pizza alone, I don't know why you wouldn't give this place a try. I can't wait to visit the restaurant in person! read more

Really good pizza and nice staff. The menu is a little rigid but the team does their best to get you what you want! I tried the butter chicken special and it was good but definitely needed more chicken. The sauce was good but a little understated, but still good nonetheless. 4 stars just because they don't have any non-pork options (aside from their specials). Finally tried their pizza last night. The space is clean and chill. The folks were friendly. I appreciated that they had a picture menu to help us decide. We ended up with the pesto pizza and it was super tasty. I want to try the banh mi one next time. The only downside is you can't do half and half here like you can at a lot of places. Really good pizza - crispy crust with good flavor - it was Detroit Night (maybe next time I will try that style) but today we got the thin crispy crust char and cup pizza with jalapeños and a slice of cheese cake. 4 stars because they don't have Diet Coke as a beverage option.... We were in a large group of about 8-10 people all with our own pizzas. I think it took about 15 minutes for them to get them all done. I got the Banh Mi and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the carnivore. They have premade salads and cheesecake. I would return. read more

We came in from out of town, and this was our first stop--and wow, it did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely incredible, hands down the best we've had in Texas. Came in on a friday night and decently packed but still seating available for our table of 6. Wanted to try a lot of different items but the must-try was the salami hot honey pie. It's comparable to the famous L'industrie in NYC with the mix of sweet and savory and the salami is a super soft bite. We're a little late to this amazing pizza party; but we were so happy to make it in today. It was a beautiful day in Oak Cliff and time for a post doctor visit pizza! lol And what pizzas they have have to choose from at Neony Pizza Works. For our first foray into the menu, we went with the Banh Mi. All the pizzas are 12" and it was plenty for a late afternoon meal. The Banh Mi has Mozzarella, a House cilantro aioli, Lemongrass sausage, Sliced cucumber, Pickled carrot, and Fresh Cilantro. My husband wanted some jalapeños which as it turned out, I'm not sure it needed. This pizza has an aioli that is already spicy. Very tasty. The Banh Mi ingredients were perfect and my husband and I were both surprised at fresh cucumber on a pizza and how well it worked! I did feel that the pizza could have used a little more aioli up towards the edge of their 72 hour crust. It was a great crust, chewy too. Service is lovely here. The menu is brief, concise with a list of possible added toppings, a dessert and a salad with some dressings and sauces. Our pizza with an added ingredient + tax was $22. The chairs are not comfortable and it's all chairs except for one banquette area. Parking here is stressful as far as I can tell. The restaurant is on a hill. There are a few spots out front, a few more out back in two different lots and if there's more somewhere else, I honestly don't know where. read more

If someone asks me what my favorite pizza place is in DFW, I will say Neony Pizza Works! They have a smaller selection of pizzas to choose from which is a green flag to me because they have perfected their pizzas. They only come in one size so service is fast and pizzas come out fairly quickly. They also have a couple tables inside for dine-in. I've tried their cup & char, pesto cream, margherita, banh mi, and curry shrimp delight (special of the month). My favorite pizza here is 100% the banh mi one. Please never get rid of it because it's one of my favorite pizzas of all time. Carrot and cucumber on pizza may not entice you at first, but I swear Neony casts magical spells because it tastes incredible. Their crust is perfect, light and easy to eat with nice crisp. I also loved their curry shrimp delight pizza special. I HIGHLY recommend ordering a side order of their cilantro aioli. It's seriously so delicious and one of my favorite dipping sauces. My boyfriend and I always have to order our own because it's that good. Overall, what are you waiting for? Go treat yourself to a delicious pizza from Neony! This is an awesome pizza spot located in the Bishop Arts District. I recently stopped through here for an evening snack after brunch and little barhopping. Upon entering, head to the counter and place your order. After placing your order and paying, take a seat and your order will be delivered to your table. As for seating, it consists of table/chairs (both high-top and standard height). As for my visit, it seemed as if the pizza was delivered to the table within a matter of minutes of ordering. The Margherita pizza was piping hot and tasty. I appreciated that the pizza was made with just the right amount of dough creating the perfect crust. Add to it, the freshness of all the ingredients was obvious with each bite. The staff was friendly and welcoming along with providing quick service. For those who are interested, parking consists of a shared lot in the back and street parking. Friendly staff, quick service and tasty food...the perfect combination. Using high quality ingredients, incredible are their creative blend of toppings to New York-style pizzas. Two of my favorites are their "Banh Mi" & "Cup & Char". First time trying Neony Pizza and I was pleasantly surprised. My hubby got his usual pepperoni and enjoyed the addition of the marscapone. I got the Pesto cream pizza and WOW! The Pesto cream had homemade Pesto cream sauce, sausage, zucchini, mushrooms, and spinach. I love the taste of mushrooms but never like the thick slices that are on pizza. I really like raw spinach but don't love it cooked. Welllll, Neony got it right!! Everything was thinly sliced and the Pesto cream tied all the flavors in wonderfully. And the crust!!! The crust!!! I'm back again to review a new(er) item: the big cheese! (At least it's new to me.) Major upgrade from the breadsticks that used to be on the menu! I think before it was just pizza dough, and the big cheese is a jumbo stuffed breadstick. Who would've thought a simple addition would transform bread into something pretty delicious. Comes with marinara for dipping! The pizza is still outstanding, and they recently got voted Best Pizza by Big D Magazine (and readers?). The best part for me continues to be banh mi pizza dipped into the scrumptious house-made ranch sauce which they're probably not charging enough for. It's fresh, complex and tangy. Store bought ranch will never be the same. Service is always great. The staff is helpful and they get food out quick. Clean, spacious dining area with lots of seating. Never a miss here! read more

The pizza here is great! I'm not sure how they get the crust cooked to be soft and crispy at the same time but it's so good! My favorite pizza was the Banh mi pizza! Who would have thought carrots on a pizza would be so delicious. It definitely does not have your usual pizza toppings on it but give it a try! I found out about NeoNY Pizza Works when Dallas Yelp extraordinaire Jennifer Y posted some pictures of a gorgeous looking brick oven pizza. It just so happened to have an upcoming Dallas trip, so I quickly bookmarked it. On my last day in Dallas, I drove down to Oak Cliff to check it out. It was a warm sunny Dallas holiday Monday. Street parking was easy because of the holiday, but I believe they also have parking in the back. NeoNY is in one of those 'sliver' locations, a rectangle longer than it is wide. There are 4 small tables (2- or 4-person) and a long family style table that seats 8. There are also some small tables and counter seats along the long hallway. Looked at menu, and ordered a Sausage & Friends combination pizza with cauliflower crust, about $21 without tax or tip. As brick oven pizzerias are wont to use high temperatures for baking, the pizza was ready in a jiffy! The pizza was a feast for the senses! The lucious smell of sausage & crust, the tantalizing sight of bubbling cheese & sauce, the joyous noise of the crunchy cauliflower crust, and finally the unique taste of the pizza! What a crescendo! The best pizza I've had in Dallas! With the cauliflower crust the 14" Sausage & Friends was $22.60 with tax, not bad! Do yourself a favor and try one of their pies! NeoNY is an exceptional pizzeria, one that I'll recommend and repeat whenever I'm in the area! read more

But being obligated to leave a $9 tip for three pizzas and an appetizer when I get my own drinks, bus my own table afterwards, and have a cashier with a cold attitude towards our family. Wowza! I've had pizza from coast to coast and generally Texas is a giant #PizzaFail state but was blown away by the Cup & Char Pizza at Neony. From top to bottom, this pizza slays: The crust is top-notch, crispy and tasty; the cup and char pepperonis are so good, I'm shocked pizza places still use the horrid flat pepperoni; the sauce is awesome (and I'm not a big sauce guy); but the absolute killer topping is the Mascarpone -- sweet and creamy -- that makes the pizza a delectable combination of dinner AND dessert. I even used it as a dip for my crust and felt like I was getting a free breadstick and cream appetizer! Staff was very friendly, place is clean, and owner was on site. I popped in at their 5pm opening time on Monday and got my pie in less than 10 minutes. I don't live nearby but I was in the hood and thankful for Yelpers recommending this place. This is it!! This is IT!! This will probably be my go-to pizza joint forever!! These guys just recently opened and I only found out about them when I stumbled upon a review here on Yelp and once I saw a picture of the pizzas, welp, I just had to go down and try them out for myself. This place is located in my old childhood neighborhood of Oak Cliff and I am SO glad to see the old hood thriving with such great places to eat and drink, I absolutely love that. The building itself reminds me of what you would see in New York with window seating and everything, exposed brick and polished concrete floors. They have table seating and bar seating. Now to the pizzas. We ordered the Cup & Char and the Pesto Cream and let me tell you both of these pizzas were frankly some of the best pizzas I have ever had and I've probably said that a lot about pizza, but just take my word for it, just great tasting pizza. They both had great flavor. You can tell these guys are using good quality ingredients. The staff are probably some of the friendliest people you would ever want to meet. If you are in the Bishop Arts District area, then stroll on over to NEONY Pizza Works on Davis St. it won't disappoint...You're welcome!! As a pizza fan this place got me excited. It was supposed to be a NY style pizza with 72 hour aged dough. The good: really high quality ingredients and the toppings were good. Banh mi tasted just like a banh mi in pizza form. The pepperoni and mascarpone was a really good mix, although wish the mascarpone was drizzled on. Tomato sauce was also good. The price was also very fair what you got. The bad: It wasnt a New York style pizza though I won't hold that against them. The crush was soft when should've been a bit crisper but that is all personal. For a dough that was supposed to be aged 72 hours it had absolutely no flavor when I was expecting it to be almost too flavorful. One of the best pizza spots in the Bishop Arts area. Love the pizza and I visit here often. Just wish they would offer other sizes sometimes and also not only open for 3hrs & 45mins everyday. I usually only get the veggie pizza and this place never disappoints. Also I love their house made ranch. The service pretty fast and the restaurant itself always clean & nice if you wanted to just sit chill and hang with people. We need longer hours and more of these in the DFW read more
