If comfort had a flavor, it would taste exactly like Two Guys From Italy. The food is so good! The staff is warm and welcoming. Great food, great wine, great people. Go hungry, leave happy, return immediately.
Everything here was just ok. The salad that comes with your meal is a bowl of iceberg lettuce with not much else. Italian dressing was not good. Ranch was fine. The pizza was ok. Nothing special. Really thought the "authentic" Italian experience would be a bit more like Italy. Not so much. Not a bad lunch though. Good for the price because it was super affordable.
I was wowed on every level. The homemade bread was awesome. I ordered the Gnocchi Ala Romana; my food came out pretty quickly, and it was very hot and fresh. It was a lot of food, and very cheesy & flavorful. Entrees come with a side salad or soup which is nice. My server was very friendly and attentive. You really can't beat the prices here, for great food and good service.
I really wanted to like this place, but honestly I just couldn't. The moment you walk in there's this strong unpleasant smell, probably from the carpet, that makes the whole atmosphere a little uncomfortable right away. They keep bringing bread nonstop, which at first sounds like a nice touch but it ends up feeling excessive, like they're just trying to fill you up before the meal. And the bread wasn't even fresh, it tasted reheated and dry. Then came the salad. It was tiny and drowned in dressing, I couldn't even finish it. Every dish felt very ordinary, like huge portions made just to stuff you, not to impress you. The presentation was nonexistent, the pasta was overcooked and swimming in sauce, and the flavors were completely off. The only positive thing I can say is that the prices are low, no dish goes over $17, but honestly it shows. Cheap food, cheap quality. You definitely get what you pay for here. Service was fine, nothing to complain about but not memorable either. And the tiramisu was completely frozen. It was clearly store-bought, not homemade, and that just summed up the whole experience for me: no care, no effort. Unfortunately I didn't like a single thing about this place. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it. Two stars, and that's me being generous.
Placed a to go order over the phone, I ordered the Small Antipasto, and Tortellini Ala Panna. The serving size is large and great value for the price. The small antipasto is so yummy and fresh tasting. I really love this Italian spot, the food is so delicious. I definitely recommend checking out Two Guys From Italy! It's very pretty inside for dining in.
Our New fav hole in the wall Italian restaurant! Great big portions, great prices, and everything was tasty. Each of our entrees came with a side salad or soup. The minestrone soup was very good. The salad had a lot of dressing on it. The pastas had a lot of sauce. If you like that like me, you'd love it. I dipped my pizza and bread in my extra meat sauce.
Gave a local favorite a try today. The food was pretty good but the restaurant is showing it's age. The service was great. The calamari was chewy but tasted good. The lasagna and tortellini were pretty good but over sauced. Overall a 4/5. It was pretty much what I was expecting at this price point.
I was recommended Two Guys by a friend and they absolutely live up to my expectations. Service is quick and friendly, very welcoming. The restaurant is small and cozy with Italian mementos and familiar art. Mona Lisa is there to join you for dinner ! During lunch, soup or salad is offered with your dishes alongside the complimentary bread. Our food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. The portions were huge and the total came out to be under $50 for four dishes. When I want Italian food, I need a good pasta, delicious sauce, and generous plating. Two guys checks all my boxes and I will be coming back!
Amazing pizza experience!!! The pizza is as authentic as the atmosphere. The crust was crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside yet very flavorful. Excellent cheese:sauce ratio. The topping were fresh and tasty! I can't wait to go back!!!
Such a fun Italian restaurant. Well not the most elegant or fancy Italian restaurant, it had wonderful interior design and friendly staff and delicious food. It was well priced. The only caution is that it's hard to find the place. The sign is not very clear of it saying two guys from Italy. It gives it a hole in the wall vibe.
Heard great things about this place... I'd say closer to 2.5-2.7 stars but let's round em up to 3. The bread and butter... meh... salad that came with the entree was good... the ranch was flavorful but it was drowning in ranch like a soup salad. For entrees, I had the lasagna and the seafood Alfredo. Both were very very saucy and had good flavor. The portions huge, so that's definitely a plus. The seafood Alfredo came with a ton of shrimp and very little scallops. Not convinced I'd be back but it was worth a try.
This place is so underrated real authentic Italian food perfect amount of portions and good standard prices I would recommend going here it's amazing the staff and food and establishment is amazing this restaurant deserves more customers And hope to see it grows from then on

We recently stopped by Two Guys on a Sunday afternoon. I had been wanting to go since I had read several reviews. It is a cozy little Italian Restaurant that has been there for several decades. The inside is really quaint with vines and hanging wine bottles on the ceiling. We came for lunch and had Linguini Special that they made spicy on request. We also had a Supreme Pizza, Minestrone Soup, and House Salad. The Linguini was excellent. The Pizza was tasty too but was more of a Philadelphia Style versus a New York Style Pizza. The Minestrone and Salad Dressing were home made and you could taste it. We finished up with The Spumoni Ice Cream. It was the perfect ending to a tasty meal. This place reminds me of a authentic Olive Garden. The service by Edgar was excellent. We will definitely come again. read more

We were seated promptly when we arrived. I ordered wine my husband had a peroni. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start they were just ok. The menu is vast, I ended up getting frutti De mare which is something I like that's light being seafood no heavy sauces but when it came out the portion was huge. My husband got the chicken Alfredo it was also huge and very garlicky. My favorite part were the hit bread sticks and butter they brought free with the meal. The ambiance was cute it felt like a vineyard in Tuscany with all the grapes and fiasco bottles hanging from the ceiling, however I also felt like I stepped into the 90s. It didn't look big from the outside but the dining room was much bigger than expected. Our server was ok not rude but not overly friendly. The food was average. We live in fort worth and I don't think if make the drive to have this again. read more

Hands down Two Guys makes the best pizza in town! They make their dough from scratch and it's delicious. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. One of the owners told me he has been eating that pizza twice a week for almost 50 years! read more

It was nice to have a quick restaurant to grab food ok a Saturday night without a wait. Nothing really blew us away as far as food. It was good but not great. I wouldn't go back unless we needed somewhere in the area without a wait. The best thing was the side sausage, 10/10. The chicken Alfredo was fine, huge portions though. This place is a hidden gem. They serve pretty good food at a very good price. The inside is like a cozier version of an Olive Garden. Menu is pretty extensive with classic pastas and traditional protein entrees. All entrees come with a cup of minestrone or salad. And can't forget the homemade bread. The food was very good. We ordered an order of garlic bread. The salad was very basic but good. The soup was hot and fresh. For entrees, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and veal Marsala, and we also ordered the lasagna to share because I heard it was good and was also super cheap. Everything came out hot and delicious. Service was average. Not super friendly, but adequate. Going to keep exploring the menu and hopefully can give 5 stars next time. read more

This is so embarrassing. I was here 3 years ago, started a review but never finished it. I enjoyed my culinary experience so much the 1st time that I have returned and will definitely finish my review. I remember the Minestrone soup being excellent so I ordered and enjoyed that whilst waiting for my main entree, the Seafood Alfredo, sautéed shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat in a cream sauce, served over Angel Hair pasta, which was absolutely delightful. There is a full bar so I ordered an Old Fashioned that I wasn't too thrilled with so I'll just order a bottle of wine next time to pair with my meal, and also for digestive purposes. All in all, I had a great time, the server was extraordinary and I'll definitely be back to try the Linguine Special, salmon, shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms in a cream sauce, served over Linguine that I eyeballed on the menu. read more

The parking lot at Two Guys From Italy had limited parking. Go early. When you walk in, there is so much to see from the paintings on the walls to the grapes and wine bottles hanging off the entire restaurant ceiling. Our hostess saw the 2 of us and offered a small corner table for 2 (see pictures). It is semi secluded on a platform. We laughed and asked for a bigger table. Every table gets a basket of cheese bread. It's dense and will fill you up. Each entree includes either soup or salad. The Caesar salad was so good! The Tilapia was cooked in olive oil and crispy garlic. Delicious! The Marsala Chicken was so tender and tasty. You can really taste the Marsala wine! We were stuffed so we couldn't fit in any desserts. Highly recommend to go hungry. read more

What a local Italian gem!! This was our 1st time dining in, and it definitely won't be the last. We came on a Saturday night, and it was packed! Parking was also tricky, even with the overflow back lot. We also waited, but they seated people very quickly! We checked in around 7 and were seated by 7:20. The table gets a free basket of bread with whipped butter upon seating. It's fresh and hot and absolutely AMAZING! Their dough is so soft!! We ate it as we browsed through the menu. We got pepperoni calzone, chicken marsala, and a glass of merlot wine. My chicken marsala came with 2 sides: salad/soup and pasta. I got salad with Italian dressing and meat sauce pasta! The prices here are so affordable, and you get so much for what you pay. The vibe here is so cozy! There's many booths to sit in, and the decor is so warm and comfortable. While there were many people around, my partner and I still enjoyed our convo. Our server was a nice man and always got us what we needed. When our food came out, it was delicious!! Salad was okay, and the croutons were the hit of that side! My chicken marsala was nice, and the chicken was cooked well! I could tell it was all fresh! i enjoyed their meat sauce too! I absolutely finished it and didn't take any leftovers! We liked the calzone, however we wished there were some more dough? It felt like the ingredients swallowed everything, and we couldn't get a dough pillow for all that! Overall a great 1st experience here! I can't wait to go back! read more
We visited Two Guys from Italy on a Saturday night, and the place was packed, the wait was about 25-30 minutes. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a true family-friendly feel, but I also noticed quite a few people on date nights. It's the kind of place that works for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu is huge, with a great selection of classic Italian dishes. I ordered a seafood pasta, and I was impressed by how much seafood they packed in--great value for the price! Speaking of which, the food is very reasonably priced, and the wine selection too. With such good food, great prices, and a warm atmosphere, this is definitely a spot I'll be returning to. Plus, it's super close to Cinemark so it's perfect for a dinner-and-movie night. Definitely a place that's a bang for your buck. The restaurant itself is so cute and service is normal. You do get bread to start off and each entree comes with soup or salad. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Caesar salad. It's a thicker and creamer sauce and it coats each lettuce piece so well. I loved my chicken tetrazzini! Portions were huge. One order definitely could feed two people for sure. My friend really liked his seafood Alfredo. There was so much salmon and seafood in his pasta. End the night with an amazing tiramisu. This Dallas restaurant was originally established in 1979 and has been family owned and operated since 1988! It's kind of like walking into a time capsule inside and they popped off on social media for their LARGE portions and LOW prices, so we checked them out for a girl's night! FOOD: * Complimentary Homemade Bread - No Complaints * Calamari Fritte - Wonderful! * Chicken Ala Parmigiana with a Side of Pasta - Chicken Parm was Cold. Spaghetti was good. * Frutti Di Mare - It was more watery than it should've been. * Italian Salad and Caesar Salad - YES! * Tiramisu - Good, but felt a little frozen? The vibe was quiet when we first walked in, but it began to get lively and packed as the dinner rush came in. For some reason the area we were sitting at was also a to-go prep station or something which was weird? Unfortunately we started off with dirty silverware which made my ick shoot up to the sky and I almost wanted to leave, but we asked for plastic utensils and I pushed through. Our total for all this food was only $56! That's less than $20 per person and honestly the portions were big. I think in this economy I can't complain about this joint, but I do hope they have cleaner silverware next time. I think the issues we encountered otherwise with food could be easily adjusted without having to add and change any ingredients or cost! read more

This place is a time capsule in a good way. The prices are fair, the food is quality. The gnocchi felt like pillows in my mouth. You have to get the relish tray as an appetizer when you go here. For only a couple dollars, your mouth will thank you. The flavors were amazing and it was such a surprise. read more

I got Tortellini ala Bolognese, which came with minestrone soup as a side (or salad). There was ground veal/beef in the dish, which was yummy. It was a big serving, and it tasted good. It wasn't mind-blowing, but still good. Price wasn't too bad either. The service was kind of slow. I was there in a group of 4 people. read more

This place is a hidden gym and if you love holding the walls and you love, good Italian food this place you will want to come and dine at. When you walk in you get the immediate sense of home and when I say home, I truly mean like someone's grandmother is cooking all the food in the back because the smell is so delightful! It is a mess that you have to order the lasagna hands-down if you come here. This is one dish that I will not share and did not offer a bite for anyone to even taste off of because it's so delicious and it came out piping heart, and it was the perfect amount. I will say that their food is homemade everything from the bread that comes out to the mozzarella sticks to the minestrone stew, which is a must if you're into that. The soup is thick and it's hardy and it's super good. It's the perfect bite for the small cup that it comes with so that you can enjoy the main course. I also have to say that their pizzas are outstanding. I've had every single one of them thus far and none of them disappoint, I always will order a entrée here and a pizza to go. In addition, their Caesar salad is on point. That is all I have to say about it please if Caesar salad is your thing do not miss out on a treat here because it comes out in the perfect size just to ensure that you don't over stuff to enjoy your meal. This place is priced perfectly and I will tell you this everyone is of a heart that is working here and every patron that comes in has heart two. Family time family spent family food family feeds the soul. I will be back. Thank you to guys from Italy for such an amazing first time experience you have now gained a lifelong customer.
