When I was working in Early Childhood Education, I would babysit on the weekends and this is usually what the families had for dinner, haha. But it was great! I looked forward to it! The concept is great and the staff is friendly! I ordered pickup through their website which was an easy experience. The store is laid out well for COVID, and it was easy to pickup without much interaction with the staff or others waiting in the store. As I entered I was greeted and directed where to go, so kudos to the store for being awesome! Even during a dinner rush. Also, the baking instructions were easy to follow and accurate. What I wasn't overly excited about was the actual pizza. The toppings were fresh and piled on, but the sauce and dough just weren't that good. It reminded me of a frozen pizza. I think there is something to be said for baking a pizza in an actual pizza oven vs my mediocre home oven. For the price (14" two topping pizza was $13) I would have rather picked up an already cooked pizza. read more

They make it and you bake it at home. Always fresh toppings in my experience, a great crust and flavorful sauce. The employees at this location could use some training in customer service, but overall they make a great pizza to cook at home. But what's better than baking a fresh pizza in your oven at home? Used to eat Papa Murphy's all the time but over the last year it seems they are using poor food handling techniques as everyone in my family gets sick after eating from this particular location. They are never seen washing their hands after touching money. I recently bought a stuffed chicken bacon pizza and said no onions and it was loaded with onions. Tried to call and they said they were too busy to take care if it. Had to throw out the pizza as I'm allergic to onions. I doubt I'll be back to this location. read more

We ordered a gourmet veggie pizza and brought it home and the mushrooms were old, soggy and disgusting. I called Papa Murphys spoke with their Asst. Manager Toy and was basically told I was a liar and that they only use fresh mushrooms. I told him I would like to speak to his manager and he said that he would have him call us the next day, well, he never did. I will never order from them again after the way I was treated. Love love love! Love the take and bake pizzas. Call ahead, go in, pick up, go home, bake and eat :) I'm a huge fan of the idea of a take and bake pizza. It gives you control over how you like your pizza, without the hassle of having to assemble it and make the dough at home. You have control over how crispy (or not) you want your final product to be. We usually get the large Chicago stuffed pizza. Night one, I usually eat a slice or two (as does my boyfriend Max) and then we split leftovers for the lunch the next few days. Makes it really easy to pack a lunch! Great pizza at a reasonable price (for what you pay for). Thankful that Max introduced me to it :) this has already been a repeat at the dinner table. read more

Papa Murphy's is a standard here in the North Valleys. Friday night is Pizza Night in our house and most often that means either pizza picked up from Dominos or from Papa Murphy's. The kids probably even prefer Papa Murphy's, if you can believe it. But you do have to factor in the time required to bake the pizza when you get home and sometimes our hungry bellies aren't that patient. The pizza IS delicious though and you can get some really great varieties here. We love to come for their "novelty" pizzas for Halloween and Valentine's day (Jack O' Lantern style and Heart-shaped, respectively). Wait time is reasonable and we often hop next door to Smith's to pick up some soda or desert to pass the time. Just watch out for the crowds around dinner time if you're in a hurry. There can be a backlog (this is where going to Smith's while waiting is a great idea). But you can call ahead for those times where you do expect to be in a hurry. read more

Food Appetizer - None was order. Main Course - I ordered a family size thin salami pizza. The salami and cheese on the top looked so good on that pre-cooked pizza. I got it home and baked the pizza immediately. The crust game out perfect of the oven light crispy and a little flaky. The salami is my new pepperoni, it is so good. Sorry pepperoni, I still order you at places that do not have salami or on meat topped pizzas. Dessert - I did not order any today but they have cookie dough and dessert pizza. I have had the dessert pizza in the past and loved it. Service - I placed a phone call for my order as this a take and bake pizza shop. They promptly answered the phone, and if I knew what I wanted. I am not a rookie here, so I placed my order. She informed me that it would take twenty minutes. I was driving home and they were on the way back to my house. I made it in ten minutes. When I entered the store the young lady was cleaning out her till. She asked if I had called in, which I indicated I did. We usually like this location but ordered a large pepperoni pizza ($5 fave), a medium 3 topping pizza ($13) and a cookie dough. We had a coupon for a free cookie dough. When my husband got home I realized they charged us $23 and didn't give my husband the cookie dough. When we called and explained we were put on hold for 6 minutes. When the manager came on she said she remembered the order and put us on hold for another 5 minutes. She then came on we didn't say we wanted the "fave" pizza. It's the same damn pizza!! A large pepperoni. They refused to give back our $6 and then said we could take the pepperoni pizza OUT OF THE OVEN and BRING IT BACK if we wanted a refund. Are you kidding me?! That was the worst customer service ever. So frustrating! Stay away from this location and find another one nearby. There's a Pizza Hut across the street that always gets it right! EDIT- Someone mentioned that we didn't know the difference between a "fave" and a regular pepperoni pizza, so we were in the wrong. In actuality, we asked the first person we talked to if it was the same pizza and she said it was the same. I am a transplant from the east coast so I have never seen a pizza kitchen where you choose your toppings and then take it home and bake it yourself. Neat concept. No pizza hotter than the one you pull out of your oven. When I walked in I was greeted by both of the friendly staff ladies behind the counter. They were patient as I reviewed the menu. Ordering was painless as you would expect and I picked up a jar of crushed red pepper and a container of cookie dough, which was on special with a second jar for $1.00 more. I politely declined otherwise the next time I stop by I may have to walk in the door sideways. They had a couple of orders ahead of me but informed me that within 6-8 minutes they would have my pizza ready. I stepped outside to make a quick phone call. Less than 5 minutes and when I returned my order was ready to go. Fast friendly service. You cannot ask for much more than that. Took the pizza home and cooked it and it was as good as I was hoping for. I will return again for my family's next pizza night. read more

Oh my gosh the people that work here are super awesome! There was a mix up on our Papa's Perfect and when I called Laurie the Supervisor was very nice and helpful. She said just bring it back and they would gladly fix it. I brought it back and they quickly made a new one that was perfect! I knew from working in customer service that when it is busy it can get hectic but they stayed kind and professional the whole time. If I could give this store negative stars, I would. We order from them religiously once a week. My sister is allergic to onions; as in, her throat closes up and she can't breathe allergic. This will have been the third time I ordered the garden veggie NO ONIONS (and I tell them this very clearly) and had to bring it back because it was loaded with onions. The girl who took my order clearly had never spoken on the phone before. I could barely hear her she spoke so softly and timidly. Naturally, I got home with the pizza. The traffic in North Valleys was so bad I didn't even think to check it (stupid me). I called to tell them that this is the third time they got the order wrong. Got the same girl. She seemed like she had no idea what to do and clearly just handed the phone to whoever was superior to her in the store and this person (who I later found out is the shift supervisor) picks up the phone and says "yes?" I was really just upset by this point. We are so hungry, the traffic in North Valleys is so bad and I know I have to go back up there to take the pizza back to get a new one because I don't want to have my sister having to eat a sandwich while I enjoy a pizza. So I couldn't believe I got a "yes?" I explained to her that we order the same pizza every single week and we order EVERY WEEK. As in... we are repeat, loyal customers. She wasn't the least bit concerned and really seemed like she just couldn't care less and had no idea what to do. She honestly sounded like she just smoked a joint. Anyway, we arranged to get a new pizza, I didn't care if they gave me a discount on my next order, didn't ask for anything extra, just a new pizza. I drove up there again, came into the store, the male kid there handed me my pizza, I said thank you, I walked out. I did not bring the other pizza back with me because we had already put it in the oven and I wasn't going to lug a partially cooked pizza back to the store. I didn't ask for any discounts or a free pizza on a future order, so I planned to just call it good and the kid didn't say anything. However, they CALLED me telling me I had to bring the other pizza back. I was so mad. I told him I'm not doing that, we will call it even. He called me AGAIN saying, even if it is cooked, I need to bring it back. After another phone call from them or two, i called back asking for the store manager. The kid said the manager wasn't there and did I want to leave a message. I said no, I don't want to leave a message, I just will not come back there again, they needed to get their act together. The shift supervisor then called me and left a voicemail saying, cooked or no, I needed to bring it back.
