I got mine with caramelized onions, baked potato, and fresh veggies. We both got it medium rare. She got hers topped with Point Reyes Blue Cheese crumbles. Her daughter got Filet of Petrale Sole Meuniere. First came a basket of bread. But, two of us are gluten-free. The Waiter made a point to check with the kitchen on all our meals. The steak came out smelling like garlic. It looked so much better than the picture I posted. It was so tender it cut with a butter knife. The color of the steak inside was perfect medium rare. The flavor on the taste buds is what dreams are made of. Some meals we remember for a lifetime. Because every bite is just that scrumptious. I can still almost taste it by just thinking about it. For dessert, we got the classic Bananas Foster, which is made tableside. It is dinner and a show. Bananas Foster is such a decadent treat. The show begins with the melting of the butter, and the aroma will still your breath away. Then add in the brown and white sugars. Several alcohols are used. I believe they use Banana liquor as well as rum. Then a fire is lit in the pan. It sparks when the cinnamon is added. Then the bananas are cooked ever so lightly. Sometimes, too much liqueur is added, and the flavor is off. However, on this night, it was spot on. The sugars and liqueur create a caramel sauce for the bananas, and vanilla ice cream is added. The ice cream that was used tasted like a French Vanilla ice cream with little flecks of vanilla. Each bite was a walk on a cloud. My friends had never had Bananas Foster before. I think they will be back if only for the Bananas Foster. The bananas and caramel with a kiss a vanilla ice cream just send your taste buds to heaven. Each bite will have you desiring more, even if you are beyond full. Each bite is so divine. It tastes so decadent that your mind will be blown that it is bananas and vanilla ice cream. I can't remember the name of our waiter. He was such a delight and made sure we had a great time. This was a meal I will remember for a long time. Thank you to the staff at Duke's Steakhouse. If you are looking for a luxurious and decadent dinner, this is the restaurant.

We went back at 4:40pm as instructed and still plenty of room in the bar, but yet they still would not see us. It wasn't until I asked if we could just sit down and we would wait for the service even if they were behind at that point, they allowed us to sit at the bar and we were waited on right away with no issue. Adrian knows us and we are very good customers there. I think some things changed in management, Kevin the waiter who has been there since it opened is no longer there and you could feel a different vibe going on in the restaurant. The happy hour menu has changed and my husband's favorite Chardonnay is no longer included, but Adrian bought him a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc which was very tasty for $8. Adrian is a wonderful bartender and we enjoy his service! Sad to hear Jenna moved on too! Had the Honolulu (pineapple, ham, bacon), and it was absolutely delicious. The base held up to the toppings, while not being too thick or thin, and the crust was crispy. Great that they offer late night delivery and good to know they also have pasta, wings, bowls, and calzones. Looking forward to ordering again sometime soon!

Two Chicks restaurant's coffee is much better. -the scrambled eggs were bad; not fluffy at all; perhaps made from a premixed mixture usually used for a bad omelette. -the blinds were in bad shape and was difficult for the employees to adequately adjust to keep the morning sun from our eyes. -the waitress asked if we wanted the small or large chicken-fried-steak order, but we saw only one version (large) which was fine with us. Perhaps she was thinking of a different meal item. -there could have been a bit more checking on us by the waitress to see if we needed anything else, but it was busy. We did have to ask for cream for our coffee. Don't worry, we still tipped well. Black Bear Diner used to be one of my favorites but there are many good restaurants for breakfast in the Reno-Sparks area and it may be a long time before I bother giving BBD another try even though they're in 14 states, with 69 locations just in California (it's largest number of locations in one state).

The manager kept apologizing for the delay and we were fine with it, us girls had a lot of catching up to do. We all had the special $13 menu deals. Everyone chose a different menu item so it was fun to see all the variety dishes all at once. With the $13 special it includes pkooskie which is the best part. I had the wedge salad which I had not tried before and it was quite tasty and the hot honey pizza with pepperoni and ham, cooked perfectly and crispy, just the way I like it. A round of happy hour drinks and three appetizers $50 and dinner for 7 $125 that's what I call a great deal! We had awesome service even with the delay! The employee asked the owner if it was allowed, and his first response was, "We don't allow dogs inside." I explained that he is a service dog. The owner then asked for paperwork to prove it. I respectfully told him that businesses are not allowed to require documentation for a service dog. His response was, "How am I supposed to know it's a service dog?" At that point, I ended up showing my personal medical paperwork, something I should never have felt pressured to do. I also explained that as a business owner, he should know the laws regarding service animals. We decided to leave without eating because the entire experience made us feel unwelcome, embarrassed, and we completely lost our appetite. I hope this serves as a reminder that businesses should educate themselves about the rights of people with disabilities and the laws protecting service dog handlers. No one should have to disclose private medical information just to be treated with respect.
