My wife and I both DoorDash and it's not the first, second or third time that employees stare her down for looking different. She has a boys haircut. who cares? It's 2026. it's obvious when you immediately greet the people behind her with the utmost warmth that you failed to provide and treat people equally with dignity. I would not support this business with our personal dollars. a true shame since it seems to be a Reno staple. Went to the diwaliwood festival last night and had to order this the following day. What's better than a day at home watching studio ghibli films followed by some Jurassic World play on the Xbox? All of this but with pizza!! Really enjoyed both of these- ordered both a medium of the Bombay garlic chicken (my new fav) and chicken tikka masala (hubs new fav) partnered with a cheesy bread. The cheesy bread wasn't my favorite but didn't make it any less great, I just know my tastebuds lean toward cheesy and garlic and I didn't realize when I ordered that it wasn't garlic based as well. Had never heard of pizza with a twist of Indian cuisine- (two types of food I enjoy) until a friend bought some for dinner last night. We had a butter chicken vegan pizza and a pesto paneer vegetarian and while both were decently good, they didn't taste amazing. I think if I got to explore the menu a little more though, I'd find something really good. It looks like they offer a huge variety of flavors / options, so would be open to trying something different with them. So, it looks like this chain has made it to Reno from CA. a few years ago. Another pizza chain ya figure right? Well, no, the name gives nothing away to this chain's uniqueness. This "twist" n the name has nothing to do with twisted baked bread knots or anything like that. The real twist here is that beside offering all the normal kinds of pizza, they offer Indian Style Pizza! What? Ya figure, what's that? Well, someone decided that Indian flavors of Tandoori, Paneer and masala might be good on a pizza! This is not a Chicago deep dish pizza joint. The website just lists the name as Pizza Twist, cause I think there was some confusion with Chicago. This chain is already a success in CA where there's a higher population of Indian people, the Asian ones, not the tribal ones. There's multiple other chains too in CA doing the Indian pizza thing. But who know maybe it'll take off in Reno! There's already two locations. This location on Clear Acre is convenient for the North Reno people. I ordered one if the Indian style pizzas, tikka flavor I think. Also I requested a deep dish style tandoori chicken pizza to go. I'll say whoever thought of combining Indian flavors on a pizza was really on to something here! Both pizzas were delicious and unique for the Reno area. Service was so friendly and accomodating to whatever I wanted. They'll even make an Indian Calzone .. maybe next time. They also have all the regular pizzas like a pepperoni for the people that aren't too adventurous. Pricing is standard for today's pizza, not over the top like for some high end wood fired super neopolenese Italian pizza. The food did take awhile, but it did not disappoint. Pizza was very flavorful, so fresh and hot, crust was good. Wings were tender. Brownie pizza was just a normal brownie in a pan, but it surely ended the meal perfectly cleansing my palate of the Indian spices and replacing it with chocolate goodness. Yuuuuuuum! I used to live near the location on S. Virginia and ordered from there all the time and then I moved- luckily this location is just as great! In fact I think deliveries from here arrive even faster so I am extra happy! Everything I've ordered has been so delicious but I think my favorite so far is the curry chicken pizza I just got. SO flavorful! And pretty spicy. I thought I'd checked the "not spicy" option but I'm not sad about it...if you don't like spicy food though, maybe make a note? I was able to play a few rounds of Street Fighter Alpha 2 while waiting for my food. M. Had a great meal here this weekend. I was trying to order from Grubhub but their website wouldn't let me customize. The owner was amazing when I called, she wrote down all of my vegan customizations and then told me to go ahead and order through grub hub and she would fix it. She also went through entire menu to go over vegan stuff with me. I got a small curry pizza which was phenomenal. Honestly I think that's the way I always want it now. I also got a medium make your own with the bbq sauce, tons of veggies, and vegan cheese. Also very very good, but it's hard to beat the curry pizza. I got the fusion fries which were soo soooo packed full of flavor. Definitely spicy, but I'm kind of a wimp so everyone else would find them normal spicy. The samosas were good but too spicy for me to eat. I took one bite and my face melted off. My husband got the Italian garlic and loved it. I order samosas anywhere I can get them and these samosas have reached my top 3, they're pretty spicy but the dip helps! Indian cuisines as pizza toppings is a GENIUS idea, I loved the added ginger, cheese cubes and the tikka sauce. I got the fusion fries, naan pizza, and tikka masala pizza. This is way better than your average pizza . Mixing Chicago-styled pizza with classic Indian components is honestly brilliant. As a student I wrote a paper about fusion foods and wish I could try something that this exact place offers. I was so excited to try, and this place did not disappoint. It was very authentic and affordable too. My only critique is I ordered the tiki masala pizza with the spicy level, but truthfully it was not spicy at all which is what I love about classic Indian food. It looked like it had been dropped and when I reached out to the company they told me it was my job to get a refund from the company they contracted to deliver. Gluten Free crust only comes in Medium size crust, it would helpful if they tell you the sizes of the different specialty crust. I think I remember deep dish only comes in large. We ordered three medium pizzas. Tandoori Chicken Pizza - 14" Gluten Free, I picked this one out. Chicken Tikka Pizza - 14" Gluten Free, my wife wanted this one. I will lump both the chicken pizzas together. They were solid pizzas but neither of them stood out to me. Lamb Kabab/Kabob - 14" Gluten Free, sounded interesting. They have some issues with the web on this pizza. The description indicated chicken until you click on create your pizza, then all the toppings change and goes from chicken to lamb. Kabab is spelt two different ways online. I removed the pineapples from the topping list as I dislike pineapple on my pies and so does my wife. Found out our friends dislike pineapple on pizza too. Surprisingly this was my favorite pizza of the night. The Kabob meat was a flavorful little power punch. I also selected a different levels of heat on the pizzas between mild and medium. I really could not tell the difference, no one else could either. I was assuming the heat level was and Indian heat level and was cautious. I would say that the heat was a zero for me. Perhaps they should use a number system. Service - I arrived early to the restaurant and called to let them know I was ready for curbside pickup. An older man delivered the pizzas on the minute I asked for. Two things I wish were different. I wish the pizza boxes where labeled on which pizzas I ordered. My first time ordering Indian pizza, not like ordering a pepperoni pizza or a meat pizza. The second issue was the pizzas where not cut all the way through and had to recut them when I got home. Looking for a vegetarian option to share with a friend of mine, I suggested this place because not only do they have a lot of veggie pies but it fuses two of my favorite cuisines: Indian and Pizza! We ordered the Tikka Masala veggie and some "Indian bread sticks". Can't speak for service because we ordered through Grubhub, who ended up just dropping the food off without so much as a ring on the doorbell so I'm not sure how long the pizza was sitting before I found it. That's Grubhubs fault though and I'm not going to dock points for it. Even though the pizza was starting to get cold, we still enjoyed it. The paneer cheese is a good substitute for meat and it has about the same texture as chicken. You could definitely taste the curry but it was not overly spiced. Just the right amount of heat. Actually, if I want sharing, I would have liked it hotter. The bread sticks were outstanding and some of the best bread sticks I've had in Reno. They have cheese, onion, spiced with curry and garlic. The crust is my only complaint, really. I think they use a cracker crust, which is one that doesn't taste as good when the pizza gets cold. Other than that, I am looking forward to trying it again. Found this place on a recent trip to Reno. The flavors are very unique and delicious. We ordered 1 pizza with half Chicken Tikka Masala and half halal beef pepperoni. We also ordered hickory barbq wings and oven baked wings with 3 types of sauces on the side. The fact that it's also halal made our day. The pizza came out hot and smelled delicious!! It was full of flavor and was just plain amazing. There was no heat from spice so I'd order it again but ask for hot. One of the main reasons I wanted to try this place was because of their butter chicken pasta. It was totally different from what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. The chicken tikka masala and kebob pizza were delicious. I've never had pizza with so many ingredients that worked so well together. None of the ingredients overpowered the other. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. Out of the two I liked the chicken tikka masala more but I would definitely order both again. My friend even said that it was the best pizza they ever had! Pizza has never been one of my favorites but getting to try their twists has definitely made me a fan. We ended it on a sweet note with gulab jamun which is one of my favorite desserts. Honestly I've never had their pizza but because of the request I made for them to deliver pizza to my customer is why I plan to try their pizza should the opportunity arise. I'm in California, this particular Chicagos Pizza with a twist is located in Reno, NV. My customer is located also in Reno Nevada. My customer helped me out by providing some information and I wanted to do something in return to show my appreciation. I asked him what the best pizza place in Reno was and Chicago's Pizza with a twist was the place he provided. Well there was a bit of a disconnect, because the delivery guy (3rd party) was asking for me when he delivered it. We attempted to order ahead through the automated attendant number listed but had some difficulties so I went in to order at the counter instead. I was greeted and ordered quickly and sat at a bar top to the side to wait. I ordered the Medium Gluten Free Tikka Masala pizza based on everyone else's rave reviews. The gluten free crust was fantastic and the toppings just as delicious. One note for those that loathe cilantro like I do- make sure to ask them to leave it off! It was sprinkled on top of mine and I had to pick it off. I should have checked before ordering. ah well. Overall, it was worth it and I'll certainly be back to try more. Came here with my family on a random Thursday night to try something new. I genuinely don't like the name of the place because it has nothing to do with your typical style Chicago pizza which is suppose to be deep dish...but moving on. Walking in the first thing I noticed was how clean the entire restaurant was, this for me is the first sign for a good or bad (if dirty) dining experience. The ordering style is also at the counter, which is normal for most pizza places but was a bit odd for how the seating was arranged. We ended up ordering a family size Custom Veggie, a medium Three Idiots, and medium Chicken Bacon Ranch (odd how the have bacon but no pepperoni on the menu) with garlic bread, Indian garlic bread, and 24pc buffalo wings. Service was very polite but a bit spotty as everything wasn't close to coming out all at once. We were getting an item every few minutes it seemed like. The pizza was ok, nothing which would blew anyone away but nothing that was bad either. Of the three we ordered surprisingly my favorite was our Custom veggie(Green Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Onions). The wings were typical wings. I did like that they were oven cook instead of fried, but the crispness of them was ruined by the amount of buffalo sauce they were drowned in before serving. The traditional Garlic Bread was by far the best thing we were served tons of flavor. The gal behind the counter did a great job explaining that it wasn't Little Caesars style but more like a pizza cut into a number of square slices/pieces, and was helpful throughout the ordering process making good recommendations. I'm sure I will eventually be back but for the time being they do have some improvements to make. I hope they take these comments in a positive manner and improve. A little less cheese on the specialty pizzas, and alot less sauce on the wings would be an excellent place to start. The best Indian fusion pizza place I've ever had!! The butter chicken is really good and creamy. It's a yummy pizza with the perfect amount of spice and taste. If you're new to Indian food or if you are a fan this is the perfect place. The four of us ordered 1 family style pizza and ate so much that we were stuffed!!
