I've worked in and around Wadsworth for many years, and to be honest, I never realized this place was actually open until this month. With my wife coming down from Idaho to visit me while working, I made it a point to come here. We were the first customer that evening 3 weeks ago, and a young man welcomed us and told us we could sit anywhere. He was too young to grab me a beer and said he called "Papa" and told him we were there. Right then I wondered what experience we were about to have. The restaurant is a plethora of memorabilia, and it kept us quite engaged while we waited for the man called Papa. If you can get there early, do so so you can take it all in before the t gets crowded inside. There we sat when a larger than life individual passed by the window. I say this with great respect, and he reminded me of Brutus from the Popeye Cartoon with the first quick glance. In came Papa and greeted us with great enthusiasm. When I asked for a Coos light, he offered a Peroni. Of course, what better to have in an Italian based place. Now, my wife asked what kind of wine he had, and he answered with "Red, White, and Pink!" I cracked up and knew then he was a no nonsense type of guy. After all, this is not your stuffy nosed place, so leave that behind and you'll thoroughly enjoy the Ranch House. I read about how large the pizza was but was blown away by the size for just the two of us. Glad the motel had a fridge to enjoy leftovers at work for two days. The prices are on the higher side, but I've come to research that Papa donated money with each sell for a cause dear to his heart. The pizza was exceptional and we enjoyed every mouth watering bite. Papa offered us to try the wings as an appetizer, but we declined and glad we did. There would be no way we could have eaten all that food. The menu offers many other choices beyond pizza, so if I get the chance to come here again, I'll try something else. Papas Ranch House, in my opinion, is well worth the stop in an unusual small town most people most likely don't know of. If you're traveling I-80, you can get on and off at two places very easily with a quick side trip. There are a ton of things to see beyond the inside of the main building, so plan on spending some time to go upstairs and outside in the back. He opens at 3:30 on Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 on Friday, and 4:30 Tuesday to Thursday. CLOSED ON MONDAYS!

Customer service well let's not start with that but it turned out great ! ,,, so The owner was slaying ! The kitchen staff were helping customers with drinks and food ! But!!!! Amazing ! Rode/drove by Papa's numerous times just never stopped. Read articles and made it a point to go. The eye candy is incredible decor of the place! App of deep fried artichokes with marina sauce and adult beverage hit the spot to start. Half pepperoni/meatballs pizza thin crust was mouth watering then desert! Yup! Cannoli and a slice of cheesecake. Nirvana! Crystal and Erika made it an enjoyable experience!

Quaint little place with lotsa memorabilia and a museum up top, a place to hang outside and a pool table area while you wait to enjoy your pizza. Wish we could've tried their artichokes: maybe next time. Limited hours so call if arriving after 730pm. Hours advertised daily open at 4pm.

OMG!!, What better way to end a year than with a Pizza & a Canoli, or start the year, or for that matter anytime of the year. My GF and I were in Fernley and had seen this place before but didn't try it before(huge mistake). Well we tried it this time. We ordered a Pepperoni, Sausage, Jalapeño and Onion thin crust Pizza and it absolutely delicious. The sauce was really tasty and Papa knows his stuff. Ample and tasty toppings too! We also ordered a canoli and my GF is still raving about how good it was and saying she would go there just for the canoli. The Ranch House is an Americana Museum the really has to be seen. We walked around for about 20 minutes and marveled at Papa's collection. Our timing was perfect as the Pizza was just coming out of the oven. We drove back to the Hotel room and devoured half the Pizza with a beer each and then split the canoli. If you haven't been there yet. Go ASAP, you will not be disappointed. Hats off to Papa's Ranch House. It ROCKS!

Fun pizza night! My 1st visit and I will be back. Fun and crazy memorabilia decorate this pizza restaurant. Full bar. One size pizza LARGE. It was really good with meatballs, pepperoni and jalapeños. Other choices available too including veggies. Wings, garlic bread and other menu items available. We missed Lasagna night by one night. Would like to try it when it's available. Great service, we sat at the bar. Check these guys out. I will be back.

This place was a hoot. So much to see and great food and service. Definitely worth stopping in or heading to! The pepperoni pizza was so yummy and absolutely hug! We had left overs for 3 days! What really amazed me is that the pizza just got better everyday! The parm knits and wings were great as well. Will be back to try more!

    Caesar salad pizza. Yum.

We love Papa's Ranch House. The Pizza is amazing. Crust is not too thick and it's perfectly crispy. We love taking friends there - delighting them with the ambiance of his amazing collectables and great food! Say hi to Brian, the owner when you are there.

First time here, and so sad it took so long to get here! The ambiance, staff is so inviting and makes you feel like family, the outdoor cats that are as friendly as the staff. If you have the time, learn the rich history, or just take a look through all the rooms filled with artifacts, and you might even get some shopping done for that 'hard to find something for' person. Could not recommend more. It is a once in a lifetime experience. And the food is supberb!

I love their pepperoni pizza and I get their garlic cheese bread to go with it and about a metric ton of ranch and marinara sauce. They BURN (cook) the pizza like it's supposed to be and it's consistent every time I order it! The only thing that's ever changed is the size of their sauce cups. But the food is amazing and always the same every time I order it! The staff is amazing, they are the nicest people in the world and always provide awesome service. The server was nice but the food was sub par. We had ordered a few things off the menu for a party of four to share. First of all, the house salad would have been better if the salad dressing wasn't watered down. The rigatoni bolognese pasta, I would've been better off buying a bottle of Ragu and rigatoni and making it myself. The creamy wine Marsala was ok but could have been better .We ordered some chicken wings and they couldn't even do that right. The pizza, the only good part about that was the crust. The waitress suggested to put Stracciatella on top of the pizza and that it would be ooey and gooey....wrong! The pizza was so soaked out that you would have to fold it up in order to keep it in place while that's so-called ooey gooey stuff ran down your hand and arm. Hope you enjoy using napkins because you'll need lots of them. We were there for at least an hour and a half.. with this kind of service, I would expect to be eating at a steakhouse for that amount of time. I feel the service could've been a lot quicker. For the price we paid, we would have been better off, going to a steakhouse. As for the ambience, well lit, but it felt like cafeteria style trying to be sports bar like but also trying to give the perception that you're in a kind of Italian restaurant. Which added to confusion of the representation of this restaurant. Only within a couple hours after leaving, my stomach began to get really upset. Thank goodness there is ginger ale at home! This place is overrated if there is any kind of rating and definitely not worth the money to spend there. I definitely will not be back.

A frozen pizza from Walmart probably would've tasted better. We usually order from Domino's, but that time we decided to try a different place. So on this day (3/14) we had to take care of our pizza craving. Delivery took a little longer since we could see on the tracker that the driver had about 3-4 other deliveries late Saturday night on Pi Day. Regardless, the food still arrived within about 30 minutes and it was hot and tasty! Shoutout to the driver around 11:30pm on Saturday 3/14 -- he was awesome. He followed the delivery instructions and called ahead so we could put our dogs away. He was pleasant and friendly despite all the running around he had to do that night. (Sadly we did not get his name) *Sorry we couldn't resist and I forgot to take pix before diving in

I wanted mushrooms, an Italian sausage, stuffed crust not difficult right an my wife's pizza pepperoni an pineapple. Not difficult! Correct... but when we were approaching the front counter. We paid, we picked up an went home. Easy transaction right? Got home. Dished up only to find out my wife's pizza was fucked up. As I discussed with the manager im shocked I had to ask for the pizza to get cut. As he asked me, would you like me to cut it. I would like you to do your job!! He then grabbed the cutter an instead of going with the lines he apparently made already he mashed it again over an over an over an when he finished i clearly was disappointed in how the pizza looked. I could've refused but would I wanna waste my time again to wait. I told the guy can I talk to the manager? He then said he was the manager. Oh joy! Im fucked! Place is slow on weekdays but once seated, just try to flag down a server. I hate writing bad reviews but the service is the biggest problem. Servers who are either undertrained or just don't listen. This last time we stopped in for lunch, I just ordered a bowl of the soup de jour while my daughter ordered a cup of the same soup and a wood fired pizza. I told the server that I d like my soup when her pizza was served, not before, because it was my meal. What do ya know, both soups at the same time and both big bowls. My daughter mentioned that she'd only ordered a cup and I repeated that I really wanted my soup WHEN her pizza came out, as it was my lunch. The server took mine away without comment. When the pizza arrived, we kinda gave it a few minutes before finally walking over to the bar to ask where our soup might be. The answer??? You'll have to ask your server. I finally found her and asked after my soup. Her response? Oh, I thought you said you didn't want it. I was nice but repeated my original order again. My soup finally arrived as my daughter was finishing what she could eat of her pizza. When the bill arrived, charge for two bowls. I paid it, but subtracted difference between cup and bowl from service tip. I sure hope they get a handle on service because it is such a delightful design and atmosphere, with an epic beer selection and menu.
