So much FLAVOR! The curry is a tad spicy for my liking but the flavor is there! The rice I wasn't expecting it to be seasoned but it was delicious! The garlic naan was the star! So fluffy and fresh! I've never tried this place before but I'm Pregnant and was craving butter chicken and this was the closest I could find and I am not disappointed! Like I said it's a tad spicy for me but so good! Not gas station food! This place is legit!!! Great little menu with a lot of fresh stuff. Also some premade stuff that is freshly "finished off" for you in the fryer or griddle. Had the tandoori burrito which was pre-made but freshly griddled and super good!. Freshly made delicious salsa comes with it. The man working there has been there for 10 years. He was great-- and it's a good sign when a place keeps their employees long term. read more

Wasn't able to try it at this stop, disappointing. Called around 8 on a Friday which says they should still be open; however when the employee answered the phone he said they were already closed. Perfect stop over on our way home from Burning Man 2023. Large parking lot, gas, drinks, plus great Greek/Indian food and Pizza?!? Something to please every dusty butt in your vehicle. We had stuffed crust pizza- I'll definitely be stopping for a pie on the way into black rock city on our next burn! Chicken curry, tandoori chicken both great. This hole in the wall deli was perfect for travelers. Down the street from all the fast food restaurants. Yes it in a food mart / gas station. Little hesitant because it's a food mart. It was absolutely delicious. I got the veggie burrito , freshly made with greek take on it. My husband order turkey sandwich. He said his was really good too!!! This Gourmet Deli is at the 76 Station at 605 Main St, Fernley. I didn't really intend to eat after I bought gas there but decided to try it since I was already stopped. I asked for a salad and was a little bummed when he said they had no salads left. So instead, I ordered a spicy tandoori chicken on garlic naan. The tzatziki sauce was exactly the right amount of hotness. Flat out, the naan was at least 35cm across. It was soft, fluffy and delicious. As if that wasn't good enough right there, it was stuffed with chunks of at least a whole small chicken. Rolled up, it took two hands to hold it. I've arrived in Michigan after 4 days of driving and this was, by far, the absolute best meal I've had. And, it was $11.99. More than a fair price. read more

I was visiting my Dad at the Veterans cemetery and decided to get something to eat. I remembered reading the reviews of this place so I pulled in. I ordered a gyro. I can honestly say it's as good as any I ever had back in NYC. The family is so sweet! They take pride in their food and service. That's rare these days as is finding such great Greek food off the the beaten track. I told them the food was worth driving from Reno to Fernley and they said they'd be coming to Reno. Until they do I have every intention of going back. Doesn't hurt that gas is 40 cents less there! read more

This review is for the pizza only. So we stop at this gas station deli as it's always on point but tonight picking up a cheese pizza for dinner has me thrown off. The price for a basic cheese pizza is high but everyone we talk to say it's the best pizza and Fernleys hidden gem. I know most would question the gas station but this is typically a solid deli that makes decent subs, awesome gyros and other unique deli items. Don't be fooled by the look of it. The concerning thing that has me thrown off tonight is that this pizza is cut into what I would guess is 25-30 pieces. I didn't count it but made an educated guess, lol. This has got to be a joke because no one in there right mid would demolish a pizza like this. Can I even call it a pizza at this point?? Looks like cheesy breadstick if anything. We typically order food from here when passing through (because of convenience and how good it normally is) but we have never ordered pizza until this evening. We probably never will again after this! It was ok, good crust, decent sauce & cheese but how it was cut left some pieces super cheesy and some super saucy. We were so excited to try this and it was a huge letdown, given all the hype we received. The whole experience was simply off. We will stick to the gyros and deli sandwiches next time. read more

Chris Is Awesome. The pizza is always the best. Food is to die for. Owner is always nice. Also must say the gas runs smoothly in my car. I only use super unleaded. I see the Sheriffs and the PostOffice use this gas station to fill their vehicles. It is also the cheapest on gas usually in town. read more

So with COVID going on, my work stopped offered employees lunches. My coworker told me about the couple who own this place and how the lady makes everything homemade & how the hummus is incredible etc etc. Went to go today and am blown away quite honestly. Food is usually good, and I generally like the owners, though they do not take feedback well. They brought the crispy chicken Caesar wrap back to their DoorDash menu but now let the lettuce get hot and soggy. It happened once and I let it slide because it has been made well every time I'd previously ordered it, but then it happened again so I decided to call and let them know that something was off. Owner got very defensive and told me I could bring it back if I have an issue and hung up on me. I brought it back and they remade it but told me that "90% of people" prefer the lettuce hot and soggy and that next time I order I need to indicate that I don't want the wrap grilled. read more

Heading home (California) from Boise, and needed a sandwich. This place is a bit further off the highway, but the menu looked great. Yes, it is inside a gas station, but the food was tremendous. I had the chicken tandoori sandwich, which was served on garlic naan, and it was delicious besides being a generous portion. It's not the service, it's the food. The last time I went there 2 years ago I ordered the hummus which was top notch and came with pita bread. It was probably $8.00 but well worth it. This time I went in there and ordered the same thing but the hummus was watery and instead of hot pita bread it came with some deep fried pita chips maybe. I'm not sure what it was but I promptly went back there and since everything was untouched I got my nearly $10 back. Later I found out that the service station and deli were sold so it wasn't the same owners who used to be there and who personally made the food themselves. read more

Do NOT recommend. They are up-charging customers. Stopped here to pick up some food. I was charged more than what the menu in store shows. A couple dollars more per each item. When I asked the owner about it, he pulled out a different menu from behind the counter (not available to customers) that had different prices. He raised his voice at us and told us he hopes he never sees us again. He said he has four different menus with all different prices. What??? Beware that he will charge you whatever. What on earth??? I stopped going here when my friend used to work there and described how dirty it was. I recently learned they had new owners and I went to Door Dash because the app said their were open, and thought I'd give them a try. I was pretty excited. When I went to submit order it wouldn't let me. I called because it's advertised to be open 24-7 and wanted to see if that was still their schedule. The man who answered at just before 9p, sounded to be younger with his verbiage, maybe young 20s. He confirmed that they were closed. I asked about their schedule because they advertise to be 24-7 and asked if they were open 24hrs still. He stated that they were but Door Dash closes at 8p. I attempted to confirm that if I ordered in person then they would be open. He hesitated and said no because they close at 12a. I told him I'm confused, re-asked, "so you guys are open 24-7 but just not today?" He got quiet and hesitated once more. He then Agreed "not today." I tried to verify if I could order because it was only 9p and he in fact said said they close at 12a, so in my mind I had a few hours to order, and I again asked if they would be open 24-7 thereafter. Told him i was confused. He got quiet, and hung up. I called back hoping it was an accident, because who treats customers like that in a small town for a small business, but he didn't answer. Same old atmosphere despite new owners. The last owners never checked to see if their employees cleaned the soda lines. It had mold in it. They used to have employees cut the mold off the cheese. Shady practices, but I was hoping that with new owners there would be better work ethic to be found but the way customer service was handled tonight is gross and sad. I was blown away by this spot! We randomly stopped to get gas and use the restroom when the "best gourmet food" sign snagged my attention. I took a look at the menu and said "why not?!" We waited 10-15 minutes and when I opened up the to-go container I immediately knew it was going to be good. Everything tastes authentic and was absolutely delicious! I'm actually driving through Fernley and I've told all my friends this is a must stop! I had the Mediterranean plate, it's got a mix everything.... I wish I would have ordered extra falafel. This is the first restaurant I've ever been to in Fernley. Who goes anywhere in Fernley here unless you're passing through or live here? Anyway, bottom line is that the deli is legit and you can get a delicious Indian-style meal here. I got a Spicy Chicken Tandoori sandwich (yummy warm meat and sauce in homemade garlic naan bread). It's not actually spicy, by the way. The owners of the joint are an Indian couple. The husband used to be the manager at the NEX in Fallon. They have a couple tables inside you can enjoy your meal at. Otherwise, their food is ideal for the hungry traveler on the go. I would definitely come back to try another one of their dishes like the gyro or pizza when I'm feeling naughty. read more

My Husband introduced me to the BEST GYRO I've ever had. We stopped at the 76 gas station in Fernley and was introduced to the owners. My husband has been coming here for a few years before I moved to Fallon. I Love Gyros so I ordered one to go, when I bit into the Gyro the bread was nice and crispy on the edges and soft and fresh inside. It was to die for! The flavors and dough were amazing! Everything is made fresh as you wait, by the time we left there was a line to order along with those who were getting something to go. I also recommend her Stuffed Grape Leaves, macaroni salad....there's so much on her menu to choose from. If you order a pizza with everything she will literally put everything she has on that pizza! She makes a GREAT pizza..... No matter what you order you will be so happy with it AND you'll be back for more! I have and look forward to trying something different on her menu! read more

Who would of thought?! Never would I had stopped for lunch at a gas station if not for Yelp. Our group got two lamb/beef gyros and one spicy tandoori gyro. Two of the sandwiches we made into meals which included fries & a soda. After ordering I watched as the woman making our gyros rolled out the naan, and buttered it before cooking. How much fresher can you get? We found a very narrow table next to the front window where we sat and ate as it was much too cold to eat outside at the picnic table. The gyros were fantastic! Meat & naan cooked to perfection. Fries, not so great. Stick to sandwich only. This is a mom & pop spot, and we were Happy to support that.
