Well, I ignored the previous embarrassment with this pizzeria as the owner (I believe) was very attentive to our remark. But today's pizza was the last straw. We got a raw pizza which was uneatable. By the time we realized that this dough was stretchy and not cheese, we had already eaten half a slice of pizza. Pain in the abdomen was not long in coming. We paid almost $50 for the dough. Every time I check if everything is set and if there is something besides the sauce and bread, since the pizza is mostly empty (even if you ask for an extra). Ordered online this particular time and I'd say that was the only downfall of this experience as the portal is just burdensome and difficult to navigate. However I did receive a 25% discount from ordering online so it was worth it. Aside from that, the pizza is great and the delivery was on time, hot, and delivery driver was very nice. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage ($17.99) with stuffed mozzarella crust (extra $3) and it was very good, soft and chewy crust, good sauce, and plenty of toppings. Also ordered a personal pepperoni with white garlic sauce for my kiddo and he loved it. I think this place uses high quality ingredients and I love their crust/dough. Alright well I am officially over this place. We have had issues with this place before but I love their artichoke Fiesta so I keep trying again. This time I walked in and waited five minutes for the girl to get off the phone and then she asked me if I was picking up and I said no. Then she ignored me for ten minutes working on the register. Then she walked away saying nothing and while she was gone I decided they must be too busy to care about my business. So I left. I really hate being ignored. My husband and I moved from South Reno to Sparks, which meant that we needed to find a new go-to pizza place. Pizza Guys is the closest pizza place to our house, and it is a five-star establishment. It is very easy to order custom pizzas online, and they are ready to be picked up in 20 minutes as the online instructions indicate. We like pizza with thicker crusts, and Pizza Guys offers a thick crust option. It's perfect! Besides delicious pizza that is affordable (approximately $24 for a custom-toppings large) and made on time, what I like best about Pizza Guys is the friendly and competent young people who are the employees. I'm a university professor, so it warms my heart to see high-school or early-college-aged students being responsible and looking like they are doing a good job. Pizza Guys almost has an open kitchen concept, so it's easy to see what is going on behind the scenes. Everyone looks friendly, on task, and ready to accomplish the mission of making delicious pizza. They always get a tip from me! Access to and from Vista is easy, and there is ample parking in the lot. Walgreens is six businesses down if one needs to pick up non-soda beverages to go with the pizza. Signing up for their e-mail alerts means getting coupons, like buy one get one free. He was even funny which was nice :) When we picked up the male at the front was the same- professional, patient, and helpful Our receipt said Tahir so not sure if that's who took the order or who prepared but either way they were great. It was very busy (5pm Sunday night) and the team all seemed ti be working fantastic together They have a fun deal that they had flyers all over that if you pick up you get a free 2 liter soda or ice cream. We got the ice cream :) The location is in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. The pick up area inside is a bit tight so due to Covid I'd recommend waiting outside if more thank three people waiting Both the geese bread and pizza could've used a bit more cheese. There were areas missing cheese. The pizza had a lot less green peppers than we would've hoped for as well. I will come back and order the same thing for hopefully better quality pizza so I can update my review to 5 stars :) read more

I have to say...I was pretty happy with the food!!! We had it delivered and they were fast (not Grubhub) and everything was still hot. The pizza was the best part. Stuffed crust, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives. It was really good guys. The cheese in the crust had a creamy yummy flavor to it. The wings were good but I like them crispier than they were. The "Munchies' were my guy's favorite, though I wanted more jalapeño in them. I have ordered from this restaurant for years, and today was the last time! I always order a half meat and half specialty pizza. The website states it is a new website, fine, shouldn't be a problem except every time I select "specialty" it pulls the toppings for some chicken pizza. So I left the site and tried again. It appeared to all be correct, until I received a half pineapple chicken and specialty pizza. I called the restaurant to let them know what was going on. I asked for a manager and was placed on hold for her to pick up. After 5 mins I hung up and called back. I explained I had been on hold for 5 mins and no one picked up. The boy on the other end snickered and said "I'll get her". He returns to say she's too busy to take my call and she'll need to call me back. I explained my order was incorrect due to the glitches in the website and his response was "how so...". I went into further detail what had happened with the site, and in the end my order is incorrect. His response was "well there's nothing we can do, we're too busy"....HE LITERALLY SAID THAT!!!!!!! I have been ordering from this location for a few years now.....with the exception of one time the pizza has ALWAYS been the best around! I have tried most of the places in the area (reno/sparks) and this is definitely the best pizza, the best value and a great location! The one time I got a bad pizza a couple of years ago, the owner gave me another pizza, no charge. Nobody is perfect...at least these guys can apoligize and make it right. My favorites are the Artichoke Fiesta and most recently the sausage and mushroom. The sauces are both great... I have become a pizza addict and don't regret it a bit! Got a coupon in the mail so we decided to give this place a try. We made an on line order for one of the pasta dishes, a calzone with sauce, some wings with sauce, an antipasto salad with dressing and two cheesecakes for desert. The online receipt had a time for pickup and we showed up during the pickup time window. The food was not ready and we had to wait. When the young man brought our order out it was not in any type of bag, just one thing piled ontop of another. I noted right away only one cheescake to I mentioned the shortage and the young man went inside to get another. It wasn't until we got home with the pile of stuff that we noted no salad and no sauces.... Bad on us for missing it in the first place. Bottom line, the food was excellent and very tasty. It seems like a pizza place nowadays either goes for The Gourmet expensive pizza or the low dollar cheap pizza. Pizza Hut isn't what it used to be. Domino's sure as heck isn't what it used to be. Pizza Guys has been consistent for the last seven years that I've lived here. You can either get the special fairly cheap pizza which is pretty good. Or you can get a specialty pizza which is about $4 more and is very good. Anytime you get the chance to get two large specialty pizzas for $25 or $28 you will not go wrong at Pizza Guys. These guys are Slow!!! It's not just because of the staffing shortage. Even when they are not busy - they are sooo disorganized that they simply lose the orders. When you get there they look for it and then tell you it's gonna be another 15 mins. I thought I was an isolated event but this has happened to me twice AND as I sat there to wait I saw it happen to 2 other people. We had some construction workers over and thought to get some pizza, and this place is real close. But when eating it, I tasted this odd flavor; it tasted like gas - you know, as if you cooked the pizza in a gas oven with the gas continuously flaming up. Frankly, I thought about a BIC lighter, and that is what it would have tasted like if they used those to heat the dough. I am used to better quality - and often get pizza from wood burning ovens. Now I realize just how different the wood vs. gas is. Even Blaze has gas, but the ceramic stone is so hot the pizza tastes good. Caesar's is on the scale of pizza guys - basically just something that can pass for pizza for kids and sheeple not used to gourmet cooking. 9 years living here - first and last time hitting this spot. I have to agree with many of the comments, they are super slow and trying to order pizza by their preferred method on the website is frustrating but trying to get them to pick up the phone is worse. Single mother of 3, my youngest is almost 3 months old. I just had surgery today and didn't feel like cooking. I remember getting a flyer for these guys and decided to try. The size of their pizzas run on the smaller side. As in the medium I ordered looked to be a small for other big chain companies. The small I ordered was more of a personal. The ugly hate I witnessed today by a female employee at the Pizza Guys on Vista was repulsive. This woman working who claimed to be the "manager" verbally assaulted a door dash driver who was simply there to pick up an order. The alleged manager went on to screaming at this "dasher" calling her a "F*g**t" amongst many other offensive and horrible things. I was completely appalled. I tried to go see if the girl was okay but she was gone by time I got out to check on her on. The so called manager refused to give her managers email out since she is the "manager". I know businesses are having a hard time getting employees to work, but i'm sure there are people out there more capable than this person I saw today. read more

Super bummed about our order tonight. We LOVE Pizza Guys and order from them regularly. Tonight, we order two pizzas for delivery and were super bummed to see that our cup and crisp pepperoni had very little pepperoni, and my veggie pizza with feta and impossible meat had next to no impossible meat or feta.
