Locally owned franchise. Employees make a business. They were fun and seemed to enjoy working with each other. Nice to see them laughing and having a good time while working. This is the 3rd time we have ordered online, been quoted a delivery time and the order is late. They said 5:27pm, I waited until 6pm, I know delivery times aren't approximate, I called, 1st the gentleman answered ,"hello", I had to ask if I was calling the Pizza Factory, I asked about my order, he spent 2 minutes telling me about how behind they are and how they have had to turn off orders. I'm sorry but, if you are that behind, CALL YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! Courtesy to let people know that their order was received and currently behind, something. Two weeks ago they called and told me they didn't have a delivery driver and couldn't fulfill my order, then called back and said they could and apologized for the wait. Extra star as the staff is so friendly. Always making sure we are satisfied and being extra nice to my kids. Have been here twice to order to go at odd times meal times and there is never anyone here so surprised they make ends meet but maybe it is busy for dinner. We did the lunch buffet for the first time and their salad bar is smaller compared to other Pizza Factories in town. Buffets are difficult when no one else is there as you don't get to try multiple options, why would they cook different pizzas to only serve 3 people, totally understand. 2/5 - Confused staff, long wait, and strange energy We walked into Pizza Factory around 2 PM for a quick bite. Three employees were working -- one was folding boxes, another handling frozen items, and one making pizzas. When we walked up to order, they said they'd "be right with us," but no one seemed in any kind of hurry. After a few minutes, I walked over to the arcade, which was pretty outdated and honestly a little depressing. Came back, and... still no one had taken our order. At that point, we decided to leave because we had no idea how long it was going to take just to order food. As we were walking out, the pizza-making employee came out and started trying to convince us to stay, saying something about only one person being able to make pizzas. But again -- there were three people working. Someone could've easily taken the order, especially since it's not a full-service restaurant. Then she started shouting after us that kids' parties are free, which was a little strange -- obviously the food isn't free, and it just felt kind of desperate. Might give it another shot in the future, but first impressions matter -- and this one wasn't great. If you want people to stick around, just take their order when they walk up. Such a disappointing experience this time! Yes, I know that Friday's are a busy time, however, we called to place an order at 5:14, and we were placed on hold. After 15 minutes, we hung up and DROVE to the location (8 minutes from our house to PF) and walked in to place our to-go order. There were the typical amount of people so we were surprised by being left on hold so long. We ordered a medium pizza, small calzone and some mozzarella sticks. We gave them our order at 5:50 and proceeded to wait... we waited for our order... and waited... finally at 7:08 we were given our order. When we got home, the mozzarella sticks were cold on the inside and seemed like they are just pre-made, frozen, generic from Costco... the pizza was prepared with the wrong crust too. The new owners and management team are AWESOME!! During high school football season, we are VERY limited with options that are open after 10p. Seeing a need for hundreds of folks to grab a bite, beer, soft drinks, etc, Pizza Factory stayed open on Friday nights after Spanish Springs High School home games until midnight!!! The owners and management team also generously supported the football program this season by awarding custom made pizzas to the Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Players of the week recognition every week! I love supporting small businesses that support our community. This organization does it the best! As far as their pizzas, they only use fresh, high quality ingredients. They offer the best prices in town on pints of beer and they have the NFL ticket to enjoy all football games Thursday-Monday!
