I love Papa Murphy's! I have never had a problem with them as long as I've been going to any franchise! I called in for 2 medium pizza's to have with some friends. The young man who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom with added jalapeños on half. Also a BBQ chicken which is not on the menu but they have it. I told them the time I wanted to pick the pizzas up so when we got there they were ready. The cowboy pizzas one of my favorites at Papa Murphy's. I called when they opened to order a 1:15 pickup and left in plenty of time. I got done early with my errands and showed up at 12:45 prepared to wait for my pizza. it was ready. I was pleasantly surprised. The cowboy pizza has pepperoni sausage mushrooms onions and lots of cheese one of my favorite pizzas anywhere. The price was $17 and I was given a complimentary marinara and ranch sauce for dipping. The location in Northwest Reno is always clean and employees are always friendly and help you promptly. I highly recommend this location. read more

This location has gone downhill. The last couple of times we have ordered a cowboy pizza, the sausage is crumbled in tiny pieces so you can't even taste it. Today, we ordered a cinnamon wheel. It came in a rectangular container with a label that says "Net Weight 24.9oz (706g)". I put it on our digital 6 lb scale and it only weighs 18.15 oz total including the container, label, shrink wrap etc! Hence, they shorted us a lot! Time to find a new pizza place. read more

The $12 Tuesday Large Pizza is one of the best deals in town. HOWEVER, on the veggie pizzas, they pile on so much stuff, the other night I had to cook it for 25 minutes (instead of the 18 suggested) and the crust still had soggy parts and some of the center was still cool; meanwhile the edges were starting to burn! Was craving some pizza. And didn't wanna go to a parlor, because my lady is still skeptical of being in public places due to covid. And how expensive parlors can be. So naturally take and bake was the best option to feed a family of four when you're on a budget. And for the first time of me hearing this. THEY TAKE EBT! And that's just what we did. I know where to go for sure for take and bakes. I also am newly pescatarian. And they had a great gourmet vegetarian pizza. Artichokes and everything. I loved it! And they had something for the kids called "little Murph's" which basically build your own pizza with all the toppings on the side. Its something fun to do with the kids. . And the kids loved it. We got the stuffed Chicago for a recent party - the family size was big enough for 8 -10 adults. This location on McCarran is awesome. They have the best pizzas and the best service. This location is always clean! I go every Tuesday, you know saving money. Some of the morning crew knows my pizza order when I walk in. Embarrassed, no pizza is life! I've noticed though if you go in the morning when the owner/manager is there everyone is so much nicer, then when you go at night. I've done this a couple time and each time at night there are three to four I want to say teenage boys working. They don't even say to words to you, a couple times they have messed up my order. The value and convenience is hard to beat. It seems like pizza is only getting more expensive nowadays, that's why it's nice to get Papa Murphy's every once in a while. You can definitely get a good value when you visit anyone of these places, and it's always going to be consistent. Not consistently amazing, not consistently the best pizza ever, but consistently serviceable valuable pizza. Personally when I think about pizzas I put them into tiers, there are about five tears of pizza. At the bottom you've got frozen pizza and obviously gas station pizza falls in this category. This is pizza that some world eat simply because it's pizza but others might pass on and rather have something else. Moving up to the second tier, this is low grade pizza. I think of little Caesars here, Costco pizza would fall into this tear, and if you get some fancy frozen pizzas they might even make their way up to tier 2. Overall pizza in tier 2 is better than tear one but still lower tier pizza. Moving on to tier 3 you find yourself right in the sweet spot of convenience and value. This is where you would see a Papa Murphy's, or another comparable take and bake pizza. Something like Domino's is maybe going to be in this tier if it happens to be good, but if not it might be in tier 2 also. Tier 3 and tier 2 of the pizza tier list often include chains and big box pizza shops. Now once you get to tier 4 you find yourself eating occasion pizza. This means that the pizza is more applicable depending on the type of occasion that you are attending. If you're watching a big game you might need some tier 4 occasion pizza. If it's your birthday you definitely want something above tier 3, you probably want some tier 4 occasion pizza. If it is Christmas Eve Eve (Dec. 23rd) and you don't want to cook food, get yourself some tier 4 occasion pizza. You deserve it. This Christmas Eve Eve slot is also a great opportunity to pick up yourself some Papa Murphy's because it's so simple and the value is there if you have a large family, so in this situation Papa Murphy's would be tier 4 occasion pizza. And then finally on top you have tier 5 pizza, this is top-of-the-line pizza, (and I'm not gonna tell you about secret tier 6 pizza that's some of the best pizza you've ever had), but you know tier 5 is basically the top shelf pizza, everyone loves tier 5 pizza. One common generality for tier 5 pizza is: if the pie is meant to serve one person and one person only, then this is a telltale sign of tier 5 pizza (if you're in the United States). If you're over in Europe the server one rule doesn't really apply and there are a lot of pizzas like that, only a rule when you're in the US of A. Basically all pizzas fall into a tier and in the case of Papa Murphy's most of the time it's a 3, sometimes it can be a 2, and on rare occasions it can be a 4, it's never really a 5, but in general those are some good numbers. read more

I ordered through DoorDash and they forgot to give my dasher both pizzas. I had to go and pick it up myself. So I paid extra fees for delivery for door dash for basically nothing just to go get my own order anyway. The entire point of door dash is so you do not have to do this. My family loves this chain and this location. Papa Murphy's prepares ready to bake pizza, sides and desserts. There are a good dozen or so different types of pizza, with many interesting options (e.g. Cowboy) for meat lovers like us. Pizzas are about $8-10 each. You bake these pizzas at home for around 15 min at 425 degrees. Why would you go through the trouble of picking up uncooked pizza to cook at home? Well maybe you have a lot of kids or grandkids and are not interested in having to monitor their behavior out at a restaurant with the beady little eyes of judgy people staring at you! Maybe you prefer to have your kids eat near toys, tv, applesauce, water hose, etc within arm's reach! There seems to be a steady number of mailer coupons and ecoupons for $1-3 off each entree. Sign up for the eclub to receive coupons and a birthday treat. 20-min pick-up parking reserved along the curb. Others have complained about the lack of response with the staff here. Yeah, it's luck of the draw if you get a competent person. Sometimes, we change our order with no problem. Other times, were told we need to wait 15 more min for a modification, yet it's a ghost town. Just be sure with your original order!! read more

We ate the pizza for dinner and it was fantastic, really good! We ordered a large which came out to 12 slices and it was only $14 plus tip. Oh my gosh. Sooo frustrating. I wanted to pull my hair out. I called in an order about a half hour ago on Friday, March 1st. This is the first time that I have ordered here. The boy on the phone took my order and I said I want a medium cowboy pizza on the thinnest crust you have, extra cheese extra pepperoni. He said we only have gluten free on a medium pizzas I said what is the thinnest crust you have, and he says I don't know what I like and I said what? I said what is the thinnest crust you have? This is an update to a previous review in which I shared a negative experience. I chalked up the negative experience on 12/31/2020 as likely due to being crazy busy on New Years Eve and it just happened to be my first experience. The team at Papa Murphy's really redeemed themselves in how they treated me when I went back in to pick up the missing items. I called ahead and informed them that I would be coming in to pick them up and they surprised me with a free dessert. That exceeded my expectations. In a subsequent visit, I noticed that they are now including the cups in of frosting with the dessert pizzas, which also shows that they listened to the expressed concern and took corrective actions. I've ordered from this store a few times before for a rare Sunday pizza night. Tonight I ordered a Papa's Favorite, Club Salad, and Smores. Whoever made my pizza tonight knocked it out of the ballpark. The crust made all the flavors pop and satisfied my Sunday night pizza craving. I love your club salads! As far as the Smores. Having been a regular customer for a long time, very disappointed and angry that apparently when the boss isn't around some of the "kids" that work there feel it's ok to violate the mask rules (not wearing them), and they are food handlers. Not acceptable and I'm sure the owner wasn't there on this past Saturday night as I know he would enforce the rules. I actually LOVE Papa Murphy's pizza and usually buy it on their sale day, Tuesday. However, I was hungry for my favorite, CHICKEN-BACON-ARTICHOKE on Wednesday, 8/25/21 so I ordered a large, original crust C-B-A. It was $15 on Wednesday but hey, it's a great pizza... I was shocked to discover at home that I received a THIN-CRUST C-B-A pizza. I hate thin crust pizza. But I did not take the receipt so there was nothing I could do...
