What can I say except how rad this place is. OK so here's the scoop. I took my family out to the Sparks location to see 4 Punk Bands. You heard me just fine punchy, 4 PUNK BANDS! What kind of amazing Pizza place lets 4 Punk bands set up in their restaurant? Pizzava does, that's who! First we order online, yep, only to realize that I ordered at the midtown location instead of the one we were standing in. Bro behind the counter eyeballs me, waves me over where we discover together that I made a huge mistake. Well, he says "I got you" makes us our pizzas, and with every bit of "Don't worry about it" has our pizzas ready in 10 minutes. We did call the other location and told them not to make the pizzas, so whichever manager or owner sees this, please know that you have some rock solid employees and you should be proud and not upset at this. Anyway, we get to enjoy our Meataholic Pizzas whilst jamming out to Meat Blanket, Ignoramus, Uncalled For and Sharps Container. By the way, we were ONLY there to see Ignoramus cuz they are kick ass! There is always something at a pizza joint that can please a crowd but this pizza joint has been one of my favorites because not only do they have a great selection of pizza's, calzones, chicken wings, breadsticks, and salads but their customer service is pretty awesome. Their food has continuously been consistent and I really enjoy their chicken wings. I like how they are oven baked rather than deep fried so it's a great choice to please the chicken wing cravings without heartburn. I like their buffalo wings 'cause their not too spicy for all to enjoy but their jalapeno bread sticks - oh my, they are solid. The pizzas are cooked to perfection and the crust is nice and crispy (I'm still thinking of their pizzas till this day). The dinning area is large and can accommodate a large party with plenty of seats and TV's. Absolutely a great pizza stop. The prices are unbelievably good for such good quality pizza. The inside was clean yet cozy and lively. Notably the service was excellent. I went during their trunk n treat event and saw how caring and fun the staff was. Felt more like a family event more than anything. Despite being told 15 or so minutes for our order but waited about an hour or more to actually receive our order they apologized and gave us two deserts on the house, I didn't even say anything about how long we waited because I realized how busy they were. Excellent! Clean and friendly staff with a nice seating area. They have great pizza with a perfectly crispy crust and equally perfect grease from the double pepperoni that we ordered. The game shelf is also awesome and entertaining while waiting for your pizza. The housemade ranch is definitely a must, as well as the marinara (which was cold, but really good). My only issue was with the garlic knots. We thought they were delicious and covered with butter and herbs, but lacking in garlic. Ive been craving some good thin crust, kinda greasy,fold in half ny style pizza and i found it! I was so happy. The crust was thin and it was just greasy enough to get it on your hands but not fill the bottom of the tray or taste nothing but grease and gross you out. We got the double pepperoni. Loved how you got pepperoni with every bite and the tips of the top layer of pepperoni were a little crisp.. paired well with the house made ranch which was also pretty good. We also got the garlic balls but it didnt have too much garlic. Barely tasted it. It was more like herb and oil balls.. they weren't bad. Big and fluffy center, not dry and good herb seasoning but they need to add more garlic if they want to call it garlic balls. Other than that, made my fiancee and I very happy. Just experienced the worst customer service. I ordered online a few months ago and when I showed up to pick up the order they mentioned the power was out and could not fulfill my order. Which I totally understood. They mentioned I would have to call back the next day to get a refund, so I did. They gave me a run around about it and told me to call back at a later time to speak with a manager. I tried a few times and was not able to get someone to help me. I finally claimed it on my credit card and got my refund. I decided to finally try and order again today but it was not working for me online so I call the store to place my order and they are telling my phone number is blocked. All for an issue that was their fault to begin with. I'm very upset and disappointed with this place. read more

Ordered two pizzas for the Superbowl and everything was super smooth. We scheduled for a 3pm pick up and our order was ready on time and hot. The pepperoni is our favorite. The right amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. It can get a little greasy, but that is to be expected and it was really yummy. We also ordered the cheeseburger pizza for the first time. Definitely different! It tasted like it had deli cheese on it without having deli cheese! It was also really good. I'm gonna keep this short. The service was great, always is. This was the first time I've visited this location and it has a nice feel overall. The food is immaculate as ALWAYS. I have been getting the Buffalo chicken pizza from the midtown location for years and it's always been great. Getting it from this location, idk if I was just suuuper hungry or if an angel cried over my food this night, but either way, nothing has ever hit quite as hard as the Buffalo pizza from here. Also tried their wings for the first time and they were BOMB. I never regret eating here. I feel like all of my friends say they really don't care for Pizzava; I think they're just a bunch of haters because I've literally never been disappointed in my food here. read more

Got some to-go pizza last night as a Sunday reset meal was needed! The pizza was delicious, packed with veggie toppings and hot! It was also fairly large and enough to feed both of us plus an additional meal. When I showed up I was handed the pizza and told to have a good day but I never paid! I said something, and they thanked me for not stealing - but there are some people who might, so I recommend a system that tells the cashier if an order was paid for or not! I also had a $5 coupon for anything over $20 which was great! There weren't too many others in the shop but I did see pizzas ready to go for pickup, so I can only imagine they are more busy that way. The tables looked clean, the entry way was free of clutter and swept, and the entire kitchen was sparkling. Can't wait to try some of the more unique pizza flavors soon. read more

The gal I spoke to on the phone to place my order was super nice. My husband went to pick up the pizza and wings and they were right on the time estimated for pick up. The bill came to about $36.00 for a Large pizza and 12 piece chicken wings and 2 sauces. You didn't need to pay for ranch dressing which is a positive. After the new pizza parlor opened I went to check it out it. There is no bar, I miss the old Joe Bob's it had a special place in my heart since I've lived in Sparks for last 24 years. The pizza is just OK and the wings are small and meaty! Sauce is tasty. Did I have the Wow Moment? No. Is it a place I would order from again, probably not. New location alert! This is Pizzava's newer location they opened in Sparks off Prater and Mccarran. I typically visit the location located in Midtown where this was my first time trying this location. I ordered the same thing that I would get at the one in Reno. My go to order is a steak bomb pizza. It is one of the best Philly cheesesteak pizzas here in Reno! I also tried out the wings and fries here. I got an order of the chicken Alfredo pasta. Then for dessert, I picked up the cinnamon balls, which is a go to every time. The wings and fries are OK unfortunately they do not have a deep fryer so they've run them through their little oven which doesn't make them crispy. I usually like my wings and fries well done so it is hard for them to achieve that which I understand not gonna knock them too hard for the flavor is good. The pizza was a 10 out of 10 they made it just like the other locations do! I was also very happy with the dessert. I would not be able to tell the difference from which location it came from because it was so spot on. If I'm in the area, I will definitely be coming back because the service was on point! All the employees made sure that the place was very clean too which I was impressed when walking in on how nice it was. Pizza was great, my partner was very happy and surprised it flavor was already in the menu. Cheesy bread!! That's all. It was amazing with the marinara dipping sauce. The dough was great even had leftover pizza (medium) I was able to take to work and reheated well in a toaster oven. Online said delivery would take 75 mins but only took a little less than an hour, driver had you sign to confirm delivery and online tracker was accurate. Didn't realize they barely had their grand opening the day after we ordered so this being a soft opening launch makes me a committed customer. I wanted pizza for football and stumbled across Pizzava, close to home. I also saw their women owned and I love supporting locally owned! I just got my first delivery and I love it! The crust is so similar to my favorite joint in SoCal (I just relocated). The right mix of buttery, crisp and not too thick/heavy. I was an idiot and ordered a pizza to be delivered to my neighbor by mistake. They remade my pizza and delivered me a new one, without an extra charge. How awesome is that?!
