Pesto, onions and prosciutto

The pizza here is delicious. That's about it tho. The service was awful. There weren't even busy but my server refused to acknowledge my table it felt like. No water refills. Barely came by even tho I watched her continuously check on other tables around me. She would barley look at our direction so it made it hard to get her attention. She forgot my salad which I was really looking forward to. I love Ceaser salads. Mine never made it to the table. I asked her to just remove it from my bill. I have never felt more ignored like this before.

Went for appetizers after a movie today. Sat right away at the bar. Our server was prompt and friendly in taking our order and we had a short wait for our food. Drinks were spot on, Peroni for my friend and red sangria for me, just right! Busy day but lots of seating outside and since it was seasonably warm several people were out there. Always a pleasure coming here to relax!

Excellent pizza and atmosphere and service when visiting Reno. Only complaint is that the order for our pizza came out wrong- missing the extra order of mushrooms plus the bill added meatballs when the pizza we order supposed to include the meats! The Don pizza was delish.

Stopped by for lunch, Grimaldi's is located in the legends shopping complex, near imax and next store to 7 spice. My server is nice, quickly greeted us, served us drinks , pizza is good , not as greasy. My last visit it was very greasy. This time around the pizza is better. One of the pizza came out missing one topping, the server apologized and brought out new correct order. The crust was crunchy, some are hard... not edible. Not deal breaker. Overall it's good. The service is good. The place is not bad, but packed. The dealer breaker is the space in between tables, wish it a little spaced out. I had to carefully walk in between chairs, or politely ask patron to scoot in. ( I was seated in the back by the bar area). For that reason I rated it 4 stars.

Tuscan Veggie Pizza with added chicken

A lovely, 1920s-30s New York City themed restaurant with the classic red-white checked tablecloths delivers a very thin crust with tasty toppings. We ordered the Prosciutto and Arugula pizza and the Tuscan Veggie Pizza with added chicken. The Prosciutto and Arugula had a nice crispiness and flavor to it especially with a sprinkle of parm. The Tuscan Veggie was flavorful and the added chicken was cooked perfectly. The apple walnut salad, however, was a little heavy-handed on the vinaigrette and the apples were cut in chunks not sliced. Also, the walnuts usually have a spice on them, but these were just plain and very few. Overall, the atmosphere is fun and vintage inspired, the pizza is solid but skip the salad.

I went here with my husband on a Saturday afternoon. Even though the place was busy, we were promptly seated. Our server arrived shortly thereafter. She was very nice and explained the menu to us and took our beverage order while we perused the menu. When she took our order, I asked her what size salad we should get to share. She recommended the small salad. It was the perfect size. The lettuce was fresh and the dressing was tasty. It also had a lot of nice toppings. We also ordered their large springtime pizza which was basically a combination pizza. I have to say I was a little disappointed when the pizza arrived. The crust was nice and thin, which I liked. But the sauce and toppings ended about 2 inches from the edge of the crust. They also could've used more sauce on the pizza as it was a little dry. The ambience is nice. The restaurant was very clean and there was an abundance of staff to make sure your needs were met. Our lunch wasn't cheap. My husband had a glass of wine and I had a diet Pepsi. We shared a salad and the large pizza. I also ordered a dessert to go. The bill with tip was almost $100. That seemed a little excessive. I wanted to love Grimaldi's, but I'm not sure I can say that I did. I will, however, give it another try.

We've been to Grimaldi's before and always enjoyed it, but this was our first time trying their lunch special. We had three slices of pizza with two toppings total and a bottle of their cheapest wine -- everything tasted great. The pizza was fresh, the wine was decent, and the service was fantastic. Our server was super friendly and talkative, which made the experience even better. We were seated quickly, and the bathrooms were clean and well-kept. It was a little pricey at $59 before tip for a lunch, but overall it was a solid experience and we'll definitely be back.

The Don

Love me some Grimaldi's! I'm a simple guy and The Don is my go-to. Light and airy dough with premium toppings. It's not a greasy pizza like one you may get from other chains. Even the pepperoni doesn't turn into mini pools of grease! It's pretty easy to polish off an entire pizza on date night. Service seemed a little slow, but they looked a bit understaffed. While not ideal, it was understandable. Pro Tip - If you're a frequent flyer looking for a deal, buy $100 worth of gift cards for $80 at Costco! That's an easy 20% discount for an extra glass or two of wine.

We really enjoy going to Grimaldi's. It's always a fun experience for the kids and we enjoy trying the new pizza items. Lately our favorite has been the hot honey pepperoni pizza. It's just the amount of spicy and sweet to complement the uncured pepperoni. The kids are still in the cheese, pizza phase, and they enjoy the Ratto they get to play with as we wait for the pizzas. The only downside is if you're coming with the family, you need to make a reservation, which isn't the end of the world but large families are a little more challenging to be accommodated later in the evening. That being said, the staff is extremely nice and we've only had one issue where we weren't able to dine due to having no reservation. If you enjoy that East Coast cold Rick oven style pizza this is your jam. It's a thin crust with a nice toasty undercarriage.

Pizza was tasty and generous toppings which made it filling. The patio was available and pets are allowed. There was only one table with an umbrella. Tables start shady but by 12pm, all tables are in the sun. Patio great for people watching.

Cauliflower crust cheese pizza

First times... First time having a New York style pizza and first time having a cauliflower crust pizza. Unfortunately, not much of a fan on either. The crust is very thin and maybe this crust was overcooked as it was hard and crunchy. Not much to say about the toppings because it felt like it was a slice of cheese on top. Will give Grimaldi's another change sans the cauliflower crust and maybe with more toppings to add more bulk to the pizza.

Tyler was great! Another visit down and everything still amazing. From food to service. Tyler even kept checking up on us after we were done eating.

Stopped by this New York-style pizza restaurant on a busy Tuesday night and it had such a great vibe. The place was clean, lively, and classy packed with people but still comfortable and well-run. The staff handled the crowd smoothly and provided friendly service throughout our visit. I started with a mojito, which was decent not bad but not amazing. But the highlight was definitely The Don pizza. It was delicious fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect crisp crust with quality toppings. It tasted light and clean but not overly greasy which I really appreciated. The only small letdown was that they were out of a few items including their seasonal pumpkin cheesecake (which I'm guessing must be really good if it's sold out!). Overall, this spot felt like more than just a typical pizza place it had great energy, solid service, and food that delivered. A fun upbeat place to grab dinner and enjoy the atmosphere.

We've been here numerous times, and it is long overdue that I give them the five stars they deserve. The Vibe & Hospitality tucked away in the corner of a shopping center on Los Altos, this is the definition of a true locals' spot. The history here is incredible--the owner, Jim, relocated and rebuilt this business after losing everything in the Paradise Camp Fire. That "rising from the ashes" spirit is reflected in the hospitality. Jim is constantly making rounds to ensure everyone feels welcome. If you get a visit from him at your table, you'll see exactly why this place has so much soul. Jen the manager is also amazing and consistently ensures the service is fantastic. The Patio & Pet-Friendly atmosphere the patio is a great space and is very pet-friendly. We've brought our beagle, Bodhi, and Jim even made a point to come out and say hello to him personally. Those small touches are what turn a restaurant into a favorite. The Food & Drinks the menu is top-tier. A few standouts from our many visits: * The Deep Dish Pizza: A total showstopper. When it hits the table, it literally turns heads across the entire restaurant. It requires a 45-minute prep time, but it is absolutely worth the wait. * Burgers & French Dip: The burger is easily one of the best in the Reno/Sparks area, and the French Dip is amazing. * The Wings: Often wings are just an afterthought, but these are really, really good. * The Bar: They have a solid craft beer selection (the flights are a must) and their Aperol Spritz and French 75 are perfectly executed. Whether you are looking for a great aesthetic, a lively sports bar energy, or just a high-quality meal, this is the spot. Support this local business--you won't regret it.

A good amount of sausage without being overwhelming plus a thickness that sticks to the biscuit perfectly for a good mashing of the flavors. My son had Gambi's scramble. He said the eggs tasted weird but I had to point out that it has cream cheese which he did not notice so that is more of a him thing. Lol. I tried it personally I think it's a good mixing of flavors. That said, the service was pretty slow. Even though it didn't seem very busy, it took around 30-40 minutes to get the food after calling it in, which felt a bit long. The pizza itself reminded me a lot of Shakey's because it use to be one, which was nostalgic and pretty good overall. But for the price, it did taste a little on the cheaper side and wasn't especially exciting. The biggest disappointment was the mojo potatoes. I was looking forward to them, but they came out greasy and tasted like they may have been cooked in older oil, so I didn't really enjoy them. Overall, Boulevard Pizza is decent if you're going for the family/arcade experience, but I probably wouldn't think of it as a great takeout or delivery-style pizza place. The surrounding area also feels a little rough, which may be worth keeping in mind depending on when you go.
