Entering into this eatery I was met with a earthly lively feel by the decor and view. The vibe was clean and fresh mixed with the greetings from the attentive staff. Beings that it is Tuesday, I assume its the reason for it being mellow and not so crowded, however it is lunch time and its not busy. There were a few tables full of healthy minded folks with seemingly quiet conversations. I enjoyed the salad. It could have used a little more dressing which is a lot for me to say, as I use very little dressing on my salads. Overall I will return.

It was good, but I wish I had known it came with an egg on top because I would have ordered over hard instead of the over easy that it came with. Last night I was going to fix it for dinner when I opened it the ham has a very thick slimy and gooey. It had a nicked sticker on it so I thought they would take it back without a receipt, it was under $7. So I went in and spoke with the manager told him about it first thing he asked for is a receipt, no I don't but it has your pricing sticker you can see I purchased it here. He wouldn't even look at it just wanted a receipt, said he could look it up if I used a charge card. I shop here a few times a week, I hardly ever purchase meat ahead of time to use later except for bacon I get 5lbs at a time and meat like the packaged ham steaks or whole yams that have a longer use by date for planned ahead meals , I stop in pickup what ever meat I'm fixing for dinner that night. This is the second time since this store has opened up that a meat I purchased from here had an issue with it and this was the first time I was asked for a receipt. I've been shopping at a Nicks since I was a kid my grandmother use to take me to the one in Clinton once a week, then when I started working I would stop in Nicks of Clinton to get a sub for lunch. It was really nice when the one opened in St-Charles off of Rt 5 and Mattawoman-Beantown Rd. I started purchasing meat for my own family and then this one opened in Calvert made it even more convenient to shop at. I guess I'll have to learn to take a picture of my receipt from here in case this happens again or I can just continue to be a loyal shopper here and just take the loss and move on.
