Pad Thai was nothing like any other I have had before and not in a good way. I understand each restaurant and chef has their own "" recipe, but this just lacked flavor and had an odd pink color. The noodles weren't even pad Thai noodles. It's too bad because I was looking forward to some Thai food visiting the area for my 50th birthday. I don't recall. This is such a wonderful hole in the wall. I go in and am greeted like family. Their crab rangoon is unlike anything I've seen. Chicken satay is amazing and dumplings are meaty and I always leave wanting more. Love their soups and meals are always good. And for dessert, my Boba mango tea... I've had this place about 4 or 5 times now and it seems to always be different lol. Its as though they're swapping through a chef rotation. Nevertheless, it's the closest I can get to Thai food in southern Maryland. The sauces can be pretty soupy at times, but the overall flavor is there. Thai ice tea is pretty good. The portions are small and just ok. My husband got the pad Thai and despite all the good reviews on here, it was mediocre. There was an issue with the Grubhub menu syncing with the restaurants. - The description for the Garden Roll is given for menu item number 4, Crispy Tofu... -I brought it back in and show them the discrepancy and they immediately corrected it. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, then go somewhere else. Although the ambiance was pleasant and the server was gracious, the food was not prepared well. The cook's idea of Pad Thai is chopped vegetables in a chili sauce with rice on the side. I can't complain about the rice - it was fine. I can't say that for the entrée, however. I have never seen Pad Thai made with carrots, green beans and eggplant. Most of these vegetables were under-cooked. Some of the carrots were still a bit hard, the beans tasted raw, and there was a piece of eggplant that was so tough, I couldn't even put my fork in it. There was nothing in this dish that a person would expect to find in real Pad Thai. Ingredients not included were: mung bean sprouts, tamarind, green onions, rice noodles and chopped peanuts. First time at EZ Thai and decided to order takeout since the same waitress was doing both dine-in and carry out. A repeat customer asked if she could give me a recommendation and surprisingly she suggested my two favorite dishes (said they were the best things on the menu and she'd tried other dishes). Thus, it was easy to go with her recommendation of Pad Thai with Chicken and Drunken Noodles with Beef. The Pad Thai was extremely sweet and the noodles where different then any pad Thai noodles I've had, more like a spaghetti. I had to add juice from an entire lime just to eat a little of the dish. More to my taste buds was the drunken noodles with beef. This dish was flavorful, loaded with sliced carrots, onions, basil and the beef was tender. I order Pad Se Ew (beef) at school for 8 dollars in my opinion that's cheap for Thai food I have been going to lemon grass for a while but I love this place so much even if the location is 1 hour drive. The sad news is my friends have been getting a different consistency in some of there food and other times it arrives late ( that that's ever happened to me just wanted people to know) I have never truly been to the restaurant, but I hope it's as good as takeout and the service is the same. ^____^ read more

Hot (temperature, not spice) as heck. Not much going in when I arrived at 7:00 PM. A quick look at the menu and a slight disappointment that they had no Chang or Tiger. I started with the EZ Curry Puffs. A Thai take on empanadas, they were stuffed with curried chicken and simply volcanic in their temperature. I had to wait a bit for them to cool down to a reasonable temperature. They were okay. For my main, I chose the Pad Thai with chicken. It also arrived piping hot and there was a good two pounds of tasty goodness. Some crushed peanuts on one side, a pile of bean sprouts on the other, there really wasn't much for spiciness going on here. If perhaps they had served it with a pot of peppers that I could add to taste, it would have been much improved. All in all, it was okay. Probably the best Thai you'll get in the area but not the best Thai. read more

The Pad Thai is delicious here and the staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. They even carry their own crushed Thai Pepper that you can purchase for your spice cabinet. I wish Ez Thai would have the audacity to simply flag at their door whose money they prefer. This way customers don't waste their time & money entering EZ THAI, when black customers are not welcomed. The host was unwelcoming, and i tried giving the benefit of the doubt, but watched the difference as white customers entered the restaurant. On top of that, they literally took 30 minutes to complete my order...no apologies, no nothing. Be transparent, put a sign up to say whites & Asians only.
