Consistently a wonderful experience. From the lessons ilon the different oils and sauces and how they eat it. The older gentleman is always so warm and humble but he knows his food. Portions are generous and it's worth it too! The ambiance is quaint but comfortable and clean. One of my reliable comfort spots. I can recommend the Pattaya noodles (has seafood) and the Chicken Ka Prow. 5 stars each! Always fresh and good quality too. You can't lose. Try them out!

    Stir Fried Broccoli Lunch Special

I ordered the stir fry broccoli with brown sauce and beef. There was no flavor and the brown sauce was liquidy. Very disappointed. Have had before and it was deliciously.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. So I finally went despite, some of the bad reviews about the cleanliness. I ordered chicken fried rice lunch special. To be honest I was shocked when I saw the portion size, very disappointed. Not to mention the lunch price was a bit high. Moving forward, the food was okay but not flavorful like thought it would consider the name of the restaurant. Halfway through eating I found pieces of hair in my food, that was enough for me to throw my food away. I understand, things happen sometimes but even the customer service wasn't the the best when I went inside to get my food. No thank you for your business. All in all I can't say I'll be returning and I really hope they step it up.

I stopped here because I was in the area and was starving. It was around 12:30 on a Friday when I visited this location and there were only 2 other tables. Pros: the service was good, swift, and friendly. The food came out with lightening speed. The bang for your buck is great here. I got a lunch meal for $8.95. Cons: my Pad see eew could have had a little more flavor and a little less oil. It was good, but not great.

Small whole in the wall with the best food! The Satay was very juicy and peanut sauce is excellent. Thai curry was to die for! Server is a bit shy, but super kind!

A variety of spices for customization.

Nestled in a small strip next to the mall, Thai Flavor was a nice surprise. The air wasn't turned on so it became very hot, very quickly. Good place for kids. I ordered the basil fried rice with steak. It was good. Slightly greasy and bland but the rice was cooked well and the produce used was fresh. Loved the Thai tea which was made slightly less sweet for me. My husband had the drunken noodles and a Mai Thai. Neither were particularly good. The portions were generous. All in all, an okay place.

On yet another trip to the National Capital Region, I found myself nestled in a booth with my sister and family in the familiar and ever so flagrant flavors of Thai Flavor located in Waldorf MD. I left MD in 2007 and still love coming back to my favorite Thai restaurant that provided me with so much comfort back in the day whenever I get the chance .. While it sucked to drive from Fairfax in almost an hour of traffic it was worth the drive to once again partake in delicious appetizers of Salmon rolls prepared with lightly fried Salmon and sticky rice & plump Mussels steamed in a cilantro and basil broth ... After inhaling our apps we shared tender Flaming Beef, Fried Rice and Crispy Flounder entrees and took in the amazing flavors with each bite. As always the food did not disappoint and I can't believe that almost every Friday for almost 3 years I visited Thai Flavor and requested that my Salmon Rolls arrive with no caviar and it's funny that the servers had my order memorized before I arrived... ( eek dined here too much ) but FYI while it was tasty on the lips this food will murder your hips as much of this comfort food does not fall into the healthy category and should be consumed sparingly :) Trust me... Ms. Foodie ;) see ya in another 4-5 years Thai Flavor please don't change a Thing!

Ocean Soup. Soooo excited to try this. It smells so good already.

I've waited too long to write this review. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Waldorf. I've had the seafood curry and the fried rice probably over 20 times. I'm still sampling the menu one by one, but so far everything is super good! I also like salmon rolls and the Sea Breeze. My mom is born and raised from Thailand so that says a lot about my standards!! Highly recommend!!!! This is my comfort food spot

While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.

Our server immediately greeted us with a great big smile, she took our drink orders and described some of the drinks to us. We put in an order for 2 spring rolls and 2 eggs rolls which were to die for. Perfectly crunchy, crispy, and full of flavor with great dipping sauce! They came out piping hot and delicious. I also got egg drop soup which simply cannot be beat. The soup was not too thick and not too thin or watery. The green onions were fresh. The crisped wontons had just the right amount of crunch. Together the dish was savory and delightfully flavorful. Now, my guest can often be difficult to please (as food must be extremely specific), but it's not ever usually a problem that a "good restaurant" can't handle. They handled it perfectly. We got the chicken with two winter veg, no sauce or mushrooms and add water chestnuts. It came out exactly that way. Perfect. Not only perfect but steamed to perfection. I also got the chicken w winter veggies--with sauce-- which is a brown gravy. What can I say OTHER than it was also perfect!! The meat was cooked to tender, not dry. The veggies were bright and deliciously tender, but still had a gentle crunch (the ultimate dish style!). My husband got the orange chicken and the spice was absolutely divine. The orange chicken sauce was pungent and sweet. If you like heat, this one is for you!! The chicken was crispy under the layer of aromatic, REAL orange flavored sauce. My other guest got the Mandarin combination plate, which featured a host of veggies, surf and turf meats, and a spicy brown sauce on top. Again, meat and veg cooked to perfect tenderness, with the veggies snapping and crunching just enough but tender enough to enjoy. Drinks were a teapot for the table (which may have been a bit strong for my guests, but I drank it!) A coconut punch (non alcoholic), which is a virgin iced Pina Colada. I didn't expect that, but I still guzzled it down. It came in a parrot glass, too!! So fun!! The rest of the table got coke and tea and were just as good. (Yes I tried everything). And we came here because we've been seeing their really amazing TikToks and want to contribute to bringing this WONDERFUL restaurant back into the folds of the community and wrap them in support. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I could've done without the protein in my bowl. In my opinion Noodles and Company is one of those places that tastes better with all the "fixins", so if you can add anything to elevate your bowl I highly suggest it. However, the proteins are pretty basic and don't seem to add much pizzazz to the dishes. My partner complained that the noodles were heavy and greasy, but mine were . Not your traditional pad Thai but pretty decent for a chain. I asked for no cilantro (yuck). It had an odd flavor that I cannot place, but it must have been what they marinaded it with...I don't like the flavor. While the spicy Korean steak noodles had a similar flavor, the tenderness of the steak and the spicy complement helped to distract from whatever they put on the noodles that dampens the dishes.
